In a rather narrow hallway, around 3 ters wide, eight zombies rushed toward Max at once. They had already lost their two comrades from an earlier attack, but they didn't care. All they cared about was at and at.
"Co here, rotten flesh!"
Without sensing any fear, as it was in a ga, Max slid down under one zombie and stabbed the knife upward. It pierced the zombie's chin, and the tip appeared from the top of its head.

It was an instant kill. Like his previous world's story, these zombies had a similar weak point. However, this ga had a lore for these zombies' weak points.
'The virus is focused on their brain, going toward their nerves. That's what moved those corpses. Destroying the brain ans destroying the virus' main component, thus rendering them lifeless forever.'

Another zombie fell as a victim while trying to grab him. Max's quick reaction allowed him to move recklessly like this. Besides, he could defend himself using his gloves and had an antidote in case he was bitten.

Max had no ti to read the chat as four zombies tried to grab him at once, stretching their dirty hands at him. He didn't want to push his luck, so he used his handgun and knife at the sa ti.

Two shots rang with the flash from the muzzle, sending bullets to the zombies on the left. Almost imdiately, Max stabbed the third zombie and pulled the trigger once more.

Four zombies were dead at once. It just took him a few seconds to finish them.
'I have used 4 bullets, only 8 left in the chamber.' He thought as he jumped back to distance himself from the remaining 3 zombies. 'It's been a few minutes since I started playing. I need to finish this building soon and build a shelter before I am too exhausted.'
With that, he started to rush forward the remaining zombie. Gun wasn't needed as they were a bit spread from each other, aning he had space to work on.
However… Just as he passed the stairs leading to the first floor, a giant hand shot forward quickly.
"Shit!"
Having prepared to move since he rushed forward, Max imdiately stopped his feet with a stretching sound.
The giant, black hand passed him by a hairbreadth. The palm hit the ground and destroyed it with a loud, booming sound.

Debris was sent flying from the pure force of the slap. Max raised his hands in reflex and jumped back to dodge them, getting hit at so place in his body.
"Ugh!" He groaned in pain.
While the pain was reduced considerably from his setting, around 50%, sothing hurt was still hurt. But that was a sign that he was alive, and he enjoyed it. Not that he was a masochist, but pain was sothing he couldn't feel for a while.
Due to his unfavorable position from earlier, he rolled on the ground a few tis before stopping. A creepy, excited grin adorned his face as he raised his head, looking at the new enemy that made its appearance.

Loud footsteps rang, causing a small shake in the building. A creepy groan rang louder than the others. All the zombies on the second floor backed away. No, they were trying to run away from the giant that took a step into the hallway.
His feet were small, just a little bigger than a normal one. But his body had swelling all over the place, and his blood vessels popped up, turning his skin dark.
One of his arms, which he used to slap the ground and create a hole in the floor, was bigger than the other one. Its muscle was twitching uncontrollably, supporting his imbalanced body that stood over 2 ters tall.
"Hauurrrr!"
Max felt goosebumps all over his body. This new enemy was… dangerous.
