In the Lobby of Gun-Battlers, Max sat across from Flexy, who laughed rrily. The ga had ended with another player being the winner as Flexy was dead from the zone after killing him.

What could he say about it? A humiliation? Perhaps.

"The fuck are you doing in this ga, Flexy?" Max asked the sa question again with his hand resting on his forehead.

"Ahahaha!" Flexy laughed with his arms stretched on the table between them. He raised a glass of coke and drank it, "I already told you why, didn't I? It's a coincidence. I was about to log out when I saw your na in the lobby. So, I decided to join and ss with you."

"Fucking hell. You're so lucky, aren't you?"

Max was a bit annoyed with his friend's presence. To think he would play this ga was not sothing he expected at all. He should've checked Punch to see who stread before he jumped into the ga.

Again, that wasn't possible with the way things were going on right now. He just randomly chose this ga because he wanted to play a classic battle royale ga after so long.

"Of course! I am lucky!" Flexy laughed happily and raised his glass, "I even managed to get a win against you! It's been a long ti, hasn't it? The last ti I beat you in a ga is... what?"

"You never beat even once." Max smirked and pointed at him, "And you won't in the future. You're just lucky I didn't expect you to be there. It caught off guard for a second."

Flexy was a friend of his for so long, and they played many gas together. Even when he was still a noob, he always managed to win against him. And it still hadn't changed.

Not that they had many chances to go against each other. When he thought about it again, they were always teammates, from the Knight's Journey challenge to Roach Planet.

They didn't play solo much, which was why they didn't have any chance to go against one another.

"You're so full of yourself right now. But well, it's normal since you got chosen for almost all newbie awards in Strear Wars." Flexy said, smiling softly, "Ah, I voted for you already. And guys, vote for Breeze in Strear Wars. If he wins, he will take to the most expensive steak house! So I am counting on you to vote for him!"

"Who would do that?!" Max retorted with a laugh, "When did I ever promise you that? I didn't rember making such a promise."

"But you will, right? I won't believe you if you say you will not!" Flexy winked at the cara. His playful smile was directed at Max.

"You bastard, I never said that." He pointed his finger at Flexy, "And stop using your finger to point at , you prick. I don't have anything to eat with you, and I won't take you to the steak house if I win! I am planning to celebrate it at a special place if I win."

"Eh, no fun. But you will invite all your friends, right?"

"Well... That's..." He didn't finish his sentence because he was slightly embarrassed saying it outloud.

But his viewers noticed that.

— Look at him

— Lol

— You better invite us, Breeze!

— Yeah!

— Invite us too, Breeze!

"Shut up, guys. I will stream it if I win, so you better vote for ."

The chat moved so fast with 'Yeah' and 'Naturally' appearing constantly. Max smiled and nodded his head. He then turned to Flexy and said,

"Alright, Flexy. What will you do after this?"

"I have nothing planned. I will go to sleep early. I am feeling sleepy already, haha." Flexy chuckled and took his glass again, "What about you? Will you stream more?"

"Yeah, probably. I think I will play more. That was only my first ga and I plan to continue until Lily calls . We will have to prepare so stuff for the Strear Wars."

"Good luck, then. I am so tired after playing gas all day long. I don't want to stream anymore. I will just go to sleep."

"Sure. You can go."

"See you around, Breeze!" Flexy stood up with his glass in hand. He raised it, saying, "Drink with !"

"Alright."

Max did the sa and raised his glass. Both of them downed their drink and let out a sigh before walking out of the Lobby.

"Let's see each other again when you're free, Flexy."

"Sure thing!"

After answering him, Flexy disappeared from his sight. His body faded and his avatar slowly turned into a string of code, dissipating into nothingness.

Max also left the cafe he was in and looked for another matchmaking.

"Let's play once more. I don't think I have much ti left today as I only play to wait for Lily to finish composing her new song." He said to his viewers, "Let's take first place this ti."

— Are you sure you can do it?

— Taking first place in your second ga will be hard, no?

— Just play for fun, Breeze. It's already good that you killed so guy.

— Go for it, Breeze!

— Are you sure you can take first place?

Max was slightly annoyed by their remarks. How could they not trust him when he said he would take first place? He just didn't do it because he didn't want to show off, but now he was in the mood for it.

"Of course I can. You will see taking first place."

— Sure you will

— Let's see you trying

"Alright, guys. Ti to hunt so smurf!"

After waiting for a good minute, Max finally found the next match. Countdown appeared and the screen faded into black before he entered the waiting room. A black curtain covered the area.

Soon, the curtain would be lifted and he would be dropped into the ga.

'What weapon should I choose? I wonder what's good in this ga?'

As a newbie, that information was limited to him. All he knew was that there were rarity to weapons. The higher the rarity was, the better the attachnt was.

Usually, it decreased recoil or hid a muzzle flash, sothing that gave a player so kind of advantage. However, even with the lowest rarity weapon, a player could still win without any problem. After all, there was no increased damage or anything like that.

"Let's do a rifle and shotgun just like before. It suits my style better than a sniper or a SMG, so I think I will be fine."

Rifle for a long range and shotgun for a short range. No matter where he was on the map, he would be able to attack with those two weapons.

Finding a rifle would be easy as it was the weapon that spawned the most in the box, but a shotgun was a bit harder. The ga only had three types of shotguns with different damage and accuracy, so getting the good one would be hard.

'Alright, let's choose Luke again.'

The best character Max played as before was Luke, and he chose him again this ti. He didn't need to pick any character with good skill.

When he comforted Flexy, he forgot to use the skill to slow down ti. It was useless to him before as he didn't really need it.

"Now that I think about it, that guy used his skill to win against , huh? How petty. A veteran player should know better than to use it on a newbie."

— True. Flexy is known for being a kind player in many gas

— I am sure he was just joking

— I think he just wanted to show off. Using a skill like that is nothing to him.

— He use it often to play pranks on Breeze in Knight's Journey. It's not surprising if he used it here too

Max chuckled lightly when he heard his chat's remarks. They knew Flexy the best. And since the two of them played many gas together, Flexy must've been so bored that he used the skill to win.

"Well, it's fine. I will let him have a laugh this ti. Next ti we et, I will put a bullet between his eyes." He said with a chuckle.

And his body was covered in light.

Once he landed, his character was transford and he appeared as the Luke character with a different clothing style.

He appeared in an urban area this ti, near a half-destroyed building. Looking around, he picked up so footsteps in the distance and narrowed his eyes.

'I have to move soon.'

Having thought that, he imdiately ran into the building without thinking a second ti.

There were so characteristics in a battle royale ga. Max had watched so similar gas, and he learned a thing or two from it.

The first one was that players seldom spawned in areas like the desert or sowhere with less buildings. There might only be one or two, but they would be few compared to the other areas. Secondly, the bigger the city or an urban area, the more players would be there.

And when Max checked his terminal, he found out he spawned right in the middle of the map, at the biggest city that would beco the last battlefield.

"I don't know whether I am lucky or not with my spawn area." He grumbled as he approached the weapon chest he saw on the first floor. "If I get a shotgun in this chest, then I will think that I am lucky. Goddess of RNG, I beg you!"

He prayed and opened the box.

The weapon inside was an assault rifle with a suppressor attached. He wasn't sure what the gun was, but he didn't care much about it. It had a suppressor attached to it, so he could use it for stealthy attack. There was also a grenade and 3 clips of its magazines, totaling 90 ammos.

His lips curled up into a smile. He was lucky.

"Okay, let's go up."

Max decided to go to the rooftop. He thought it was a perfect place to find people from afar.
