Still, he was calm. He wouldn't let himself get taunted just like before. He didn't know BloodSucker's skill level yet. And he certainly would never underestimate him.

Activating his ability, Max circled to the left to dodge them. However, with a wave of BloodSucker's hand, the lances changed direction. They were pretty fast, almost catching up to him who had a speed ability.

Unlike BloodSucker who enjoyed his victory, Max actually had a plan to counter the lances once he saw that BloodSucker could control it. He just had to head toward his enemy. After all, he was still a bit faster than the lances.

BloodSucker made a stabbing movent, it was fast and precise due to the ga's support. The paralyzing effect from Blood Pool had ended and Max could now move again. He imdiately ducked to avoid the attack and attacked his opponent.
If there was sothing that a simple skill had an advantage over a complicated and strong skill, then it would be its variation.

A charge bar. It was a bar that showed how ready you were to use an ultimate skill. It was charged from getting hit or landing a hit. Once it was full, a hero would be able to unleash the ultimate skill.
An ultimate skill could reverse a situation from hopeless to winning the ga. That was how strong this ultimate skill was.
Raising his cane, BloodSucker sacrificed 10% of his HP, bringing him down to only 6%. Blood gathered above and created a large ball. It looked like it was ready to burst anyti.
"Are you ready to lose, Breeze? Say goodbye to your pitiful life. Make sure to etch in your mind to never cross a Noble Vampire ever again! Blood Rain!"
With a shout, BloodSucker activated his ultimate skill. The ball of blood burst. The blood scattered before it beca a small arrow that went toward Max. They were homing and would follow their target.

— This is one of the strongest ultimates that a character in H x V has. If all the attacks landed, it would kill the enemy without any question

Indeed. Max stood still even when BloodSucker's ultimate attack ca toward him. So scratched him, slowly chipping his HP. However, because he stayed still, not all of the small arrows could hit him. A lot of them missed, giving him a chance to survive.
When the haul stopped, Max was left with 17% HP left.
"Is that it? Is that the extent of your strength?!" Max asked as he walked toward BloodSucker, using the wannabe Vampire's words against him. "Too weak! You're too weak."
"N-No way. You survived that?"
"Yeah. And now I will kill you!"
Breaking into a run, Max activated his ultimate. His charge was now full thanks to tanking BloodSucker's ultimate.
A blue fla went ablaze, covering his two legs. His movent was half-controlled by the system. He jumped high and extended his legs. His speed suddenly increased and he flew toward BloodSucker like a teor.
"Heroes Kick!"
Max landed safely in a crouching motion. Behind him

"Hmph! Justice prevails!" Max struck a pose and walked away from the explosion.
The crowd cheered.
"CRINGE!"
"That was so cringe. I felt a shiver down my spine!"
"So cool! Noobies, look. Breeze is so cool!"
