After shopping, Max took a nap and woke up at 7 to stream again. His goal was 3 matches tonight to finish his matchmaking.
Because he would have 2 days less than his plan to get to Tier 2, he needed to work harder or win every ga from now on. It would be good if he was Tier 3 right from the start, but that might be hard. No one started at Tier 3 right after they finished their placent matches. At least no first-tir did.

As soon as he started the stream, the viewers who were waiting for him to return imdiately typed in the chat.

"Yo, guys! I am back! Thanks for the donation, CreamySugar and LovelyOtter. Yeah, I am fine. Soone from Biozone just contacted to have a eting. There is no trouble whatsoever as we only talk about sothing briefly."
Calming the chat down was pretty easy as he showed his smile. There were various questions as to why he suddenly logged out, but he didn't talk about it and only smirked.
"You will know soon." He said. "Anyway, let's get into the ga. I will play 3 tis this ti and get to know my Tier. Playing as a police is fine, but I want to be thieves again."
— You being a police officer is cheating!

"I will get Tier 2 imdiately." He grinned smugly and started the matchmaking.
He found the match easily, and the map was the museum. This ti, his role was as a thief, just like he hoped to.
Fortunately, no one looked down on him at the ga, and they could escape easily from the police, who apparently had a troll between them. The eighth placent match went easier than he thought, but it wasn't as fun as the other seven.
The ninth placent match was better. The map was a bigger beach house, and he beca a police officer this ti.

Two of his teammates were girls. It was rare to see them playing Midnight Heist. The male and female ratio that played this ga was around 7:3. Max hadn't yet tead up with one. Though it seed like his enemy from previous rounds had two girls with them.
"Good luck, and have fun."
Just like usual, he wished his teammates good luck. But… this ti, the reaction was more varied for so reason.
"Hehehe, good luck to you too! Ah, I am PeachyCute. Nice to et you!"
"Your na is Breeze? I am PrettyHoney! Nice to et you!"
The other two guys in the team were kind of ignored as the two girls got close to him. As a result, they were glaring at him with a death stare. Glancing at them, he couldn't help but smile awkwardly.
'Don't stare at like that, dude. I did nothing at all.' He stepped back all the way with his hands raised, trying his best not to touch them.
Just like his two teammates, the chat also exploded in its own way.

— Note their nas. We will drag them face into the mud! How dare they get close to him!

They didn't mock Breeze but the girls who dared to act flirty with him. Everyone in the chat already knew about his personality and that he was forever maidenless. There was no way he would act nicely to a girl!
Another reason was that so of them already shipped him with another person. Though, that was a secret that he didn't know.
Thankfully, before the situation worsened and he was pushed to the wall, the ga had started, and he was teleported away. He appeared on the second party floor with a guy teammate.
"Phew… I am safe." Max muttered.
The guy seed to hear him and narrowed his eyes.
"Don't play around, dude." He said, "Girls are temporary. Rank is forever. If you don't take this seriously, I will report it."
With that, the guy left. Max looked at him in confusion but then let out another sigh.
"It's hard to be popular…"
— There he goes again, the humblebrag.
— Usually I'd be pissed, but I will let him go this ti
— Popular among ladies… If the girls before can be called one.
"Guys, it's not nice calling people ugly." He said, and that was what he truly believed. "But well, I am hated by two of my teammates because of those girls, so screw them. I will just play normall–"
"Ah! There he is."
"Hyaa! Let's find the thieves together!"
From the distance, two voices belonging to his teammates rang loudly upon seeing him. They raised their pitch to sound cute, but it beca just annoying for him.
"I retract my statent. Fck them! I want to play, dammit."
Saying so, he jumped over the stairs and went to the first floor. It seed like it was his fate to et a troll when he enjoyed playing a ga.
— I think they are the trolls from the previous ga
— Unlucky… A troll in a ranked match
— I think they are more like 'annoying players' than trolls.
— That's not important.
— He's running away from them as if they are disgusting lol
— I bet he's gonna get into a drama again. However, it's unimportant because they bother him, and he doesn't do anything but run.
The ga continued with the girls trying to get to know Max. He did his best to catch the thieves with his other teammates, who finally understood the situation.
In the end, they lost because the girls didn't play seriously. They reported them, though Max felt bitter for losing his first placent match.
He wanted to curse so badly, but he held himself back. He was a better man, he told himself.
Then, his tenth ga arrived. The map was an underground vault, and he beca a thief.
There was a girl on his team, but she didn't act flirty like the two from earlier, which was sothing he appreciated. He found out that he couldn't really handle flirty girls whose sense of private space was butchered from their brains.
Unexpectedly, the teamwork was pretty solid. The girl wore a crow mask, allowing her to use an ability to glide in the air for a few seconds. And because the target was higher, she could easily escape to the getaway boat.
Only two people, Max and the girl, escaped safely as the others sacrificed themselves to stop the police. They appeared on the boat after the successful escape notification appeared.
"Good job, everyone!"
"Great job!"
Max replied to them half-heartedly. He didn't focus on his teammate anymore as he chose to read the ssage that appeared in front of him.

— Is it Tier 5? Or Tier 4?

There was no notification about his Tier. He was returned to the bar he was in. Upon reading the chat, he realized that he needed to open the nu to know his Tier.
And he did that. Written above the ranked match button was his Tier. It glowed brightly, changing the '?' mark with sothing else.
When the light was gone, it was written clearly.
