It was currently 3 PM in the afternoon.
Jiang Ran was sitting in the living room typing on his keyboard, dealing with various custor inquiries and growing increasingly annoyed. Suddenly, there was a knock at his door.
"Coming, coming!"
After finishing with one custor, Jiang Ran quickly dashed to the door of Room 304 and opened it.
Standing outside was Qin Kelian, the younger sister of the Demoness sisters from Room 303.
"What's up?"
This was only the second ti Qin Kelian had co looking for him, as far as he could rember.
"Oh, I recently brewed so new teas and wanted you to try them."
Qin Kelian flashed a sweet smile and gestured with both hands holding small tal teapots.
"Oh, I see. Co on in then."
Jiang Ran led Qin Kelian to the sofa, asking her to wait while he went back to his laptop to request so ti off from his supervisor.
After getting approval, Jiang Ran brought out several disposable paper cups and placed them on the coffee table.
Qin Kelian then poured tea from both pots into separate cups for Jiang Ran.
One cup contained a bright red liquid that looked strikingly like blood.
The other held a pale green brew.
As Qin Kelian poured, Jiang Ran admired her beautiful face and the alluring figure wrapped in her black stepmother dress.
Of course, Jiang Ran harbored no improper thoughts - after a brief appreciation, he turned his attention to the two cups of tea.
Seeing the pale green one, he asked, "Is this green tea?"
Qin Kelian shook her head. "This is qing tea. Not exactly green tea, but you could say they're cousins."
Then Jiang Ran noticed the blood-red tea.
He froze montarily before bending down to examine the crimson liquid in the paper cup.
"Is this red tea?"
Qin Kelian gave a faint smile. "Red tea isn't this red. This is blood tea - you could call it red tea's distant relative."
"Wow, I'm learning sothing new today."
Jiang Ran scratched his head and unceremoniously picked up the qing tea for a sip.
Hmm. It tasted like tea leaves - nothing particularly special.
The only unusual thing was the sudden ssage in his mind:
[Ding! Detected host has consud drugged tea! System has neutralized! Points consud: 100!]

So Jiang Ran ignored it this ti.
After tasting the qing tea, Jiang Ran picked up the blood tea.

"How is it? How do you feel?" Qin Kelian asked eagerly after seeing Jiang Ran drink both teas containing her sister Qin Yi's newly developed sedatives.
Jiang Ran replied, "The blood tea tastes better than the qing tea."
Qin Kelian pressed, "And then?"
Jiang Ran: "Then... nothing else."
Disappointnt flashed across Qin Kelian's face.
Her sister's new sedatives had failed again on Jiang Ran.
Thinking she was upset because he lacked tea knowledge to give proper feedback, Jiang Ran laughed awkwardly. "Sorry, I don't know much about tea so I can't give more detailed opinions."
Qin Kelian forced a smile and shook her head. "It's fine, really." Then she picked up both teapots and left abruptly.
Jiang Ran was left thoroughly confused by her sudden departure.
