Before his words fell, the toad's towering pillar-like tongue sped down even faster, and with the constant sonic booms, the three could only keep dodging and moving. The slightest slowdown would result in at least being grazed by the tongue. Even a graze would breach their defenses.
The toad's tongue's speed eventually reached a point where even Sun Wukong, using his Heaven and Earth Dao Eye, was almost dizzy from the blur, resembling a downpour of rain relentlessly aiming to smash them. Amid such rapid and dense attacks, Ye Zi was the first to be struck, plumting straight into the ground.
