They were first attacked by ferocious beasts, then for so unknown reason, those beasts suddenly began to self-destruct as if they were crazed, followed by a series of three consecutive explosions before anyone could recover their senses.
Imdiately after, the people from the Netherworld World ca swarming in for the attack. At last, after enduring the fierce assault by the people of the Netherworld Alliance Army, the Ancient Primordial World's reinforcents arrived. But before they could release the pent-up fury in their hearts, a large number of combat puppets rained down from the sky. And none of these were weak. If that was all, it might have been fine, but then countless ferocious beasts suddenly charged in, targeting their own people while the Netherworld Alliance Army just stood there as if they saw nothing.
Thus, the group of ferocious beasts took off with Sun Wukong, Fla God, and others, leaving behind in the dust, whereas Rogue Heart Sword Hero and Xi Zhao stayed behind. It wasn't that Sun Wukong didn't want to take them along, but through Divine Consciousness Transmission, both expressed they had their own ways of escape. Surely enough, just as Sun Wukong and his group had completely vanished from sight, and when the remaining mbers of the Annihilation Alliance Army had surrounded the two, Rogue Heart Sword Hero suddenly flashed over to Xi Zhao's side, then with a pat on Xi Zhao's shoulder, the two of them disappeared out of thin air.
However, as the two disappeared, two figures flashed into existence next to Sun Wukong, who was riding a steel-armored rhinoceros, and then landed on the backs of other ferocious beasts. These two were none other than Rogue Heart Sword Hero and Xi Zhao. The reason they could escape in such a manner was actually thanks to the bracelet of Realm Artifact Level that Rogue Heart Sword Hero had once again on his wrist.
As an assistive Domain Instrunt, it not only held the ability to store Spiritual Power and seal the user's power but also could set spatial coordinates for movent within the sa world. That's why they hadn't retreated with the rest of Sun Wukong's party when they rode away on the ferocious beasts. Although retreating like this was sowhat reluctant, they did it mostly to cover for Sun Wukong and the others.
Soon, Sun Wukong and others riding the ferocious beasts had regrouped with Zhibei and others who were following. They then proceeded to tally up their numbers. Naturally, soone else was in charge of counting heads and assessing everyone's injuries, while Sun Wukong, Rogue Heart Sword Hero, Xi Zhao, Zhibei, Ghost Jade, He Tu, Zijing, Fla God, Po Jun, Feng Xi, Si Ye, Yi Xuan, Liang Ji, Ming Wanjie, and the Five Battle Generals of the Myriad Demons Country, including Evil Monarch, Old Wang, Zhan Yunyi, Shang Sheng, and Du Tianyang, found a place to stop. They had to because there were so matters that needed to be clarified to everyone.
Originally, before setting off, there were fifty individuals among the three parties of troops; five went missing on the way, and among those missing were three who should have been in the fight, leaving only forty-five to participate in the battle. Now, out of those forty-five, only thirty-five were still alive. This ant that in this battle, the Netherworld Alliance Army had lost a total of ten people. For Sun Wukong and others, the loss was far greater than expected, and so of the injured were so critically wounded that if they didn't receive prompt treatnt, they would lose their Combat Power even if they survived.
So after learning of these casualties, everyone's mood turned grim. They sat around a campfire, while the rest were busy preparing food or setting up tents. As for the massive herd of ferocious beasts, they now served as the guard, forming three concentric circles of defense around Sun Wukong and the others. It was undeniable that with the assistance of these beasts, the pressure on the Netherworld Alliance Army eased significantly.
Seeing that everyone was looking down and no one spoke up, Zhibei decided to clear his throat softly and whispered, "Now, this battle has co to a conclusion. We can't claim victory, but we can't say we're defeated either. It's a mix of losses and gains. Taking advantage of our current, relatively safe situation, I'm going to share so information I know with you all. However, I hope you can stay calm."
After finishing, Zhibei, whose eyes were emitting a mysterious glow, scanned the crowd before continuing, "The first matter is this. Originally, we were supposed to launch a surprise attack, but the final outco turned into a head-on confrontation. It seems that all three opposing forces were prepared for battle. But the reason for everyone's silence was that even though they knew there must be a problem, no one wanted to believe it was true.
Take Sun Wukong, for example. He had complete trust in every single person from the Netherworld World. Xi Zhao, who Sun Wukong had known the longest since his ti of rely One Pattern strength, had faced countless battles and dangers together with him, earning Sun Wukong's utmost trust. Then there were Fla God and Zijing, also known as Caoi. Although these two were later acquaintances, they had shared many experiences. In both of them, Sun Wukong felt the most sincere friendship and brotherhood.
Next were the Five Battle Generals. Sun Wukong didn't know them very well; however, they could be said to owe their lives to Sun Wukong. Handpicked by Yue Huangquan themselves, they had waged war in the Netherworld World for countless years and were considered Yue Huangquan's most capable War Generals. If those five were the traitors, then Yue Huangquan, as a Domain Lord, might as well not serve in that capacity. As for Ming Wanjie and Rogue Heart Sword Hero, the situation was similar; they were Yue Huangquan's right-hand n.
Not only Sun Wukong but also everyone else harbored similar thoughts. Being selected to participate in the Patrolling Celestial World trial was enough to prove the Domain Lords' trust in them. Hence, the idea that a traitor could be among them was a harsh reality to accept.
After another mont of silence, Zhibei spoke again, "Let's put this matter aside for now. After all, it's just my speculation. Besides, since my predictive ability can't identify the traitor, it may well be that there simply isn't a traitor among us. Perhaps the actions of the others are just too perfectly arranged. The second is the group that appeared as part of the reinforcents for Myriad Demons Country; their numbers are uncertain, and they call themselves the Underworld God Army. Moreover, as far as I know, Luo Chen from the Genesis Divine Nation had contact with this group of people. Myriad Demons Country has too, but the current situation is that Myriad Demons Country is collaborating with this so-called Underworld God Army, while Genesis Divine Nation is currently under attack by this Underworld God Army!"
