Luo Chen, who had been frowning tightly, suddenly let out a light sigh of relief and, almost unconsciously, a slight smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. He had just captured the locations of those five individuals through the golden energy net. Although Luo Chen was sowhat wary of the person who could kill a Peak Supre with a single blow, now that they had been trapped inside his Seal Earth Wall, Luo Chen believed there was absolutely no chance for them to escape.
When the golden net captured the whereabouts of those five people, the Seal Earth Wall, originally spanning an area of forty miles on each side, began to shrink rapidly. Furthermore, during this shrinking process, the earth within that space was directly compressed together. This move was actually one of the Seal Earth Wall's killing techniques.
By rapidly constricting the six-sided walls, the Earth Elent inside was compressed, thus exerting imnse pressure on the people trapped inside the space. If he so desired, the enormous pressure could completely crush those five individuals into a mound of flesh. However, Luo Chen did not do so, as he needed to capture one of them alive to inquire about certain matters.
After all, he and his companions were too unfamiliar with the Patrolling Celestial World. If he could obtain so information from the mouth of a native, it would be most beneficial. If only he could learn their current location, the position of the Genesis Divine Nation, and get a rough idea of the terrain distribution of the Patrolling Celestial World, Luo Chen was confident that he could further expand the advantages of the Genesis Divine Nation.
Even though the Genesis Divine Nation possessed half a map, it wasn't detailed at all, making it impossible to discern the full extent of the Patrolling Celestial World. Was their half of the map the eastern or northern part? Were the areas not marked on the map safe or dangerous? Could there be terrains in unknown directions that would benefit an enemy ambush?
All of this needed to be learned from the mouths of those natives, in addition to the identities and purposes of these five people and the reason for their iron chains and shackles. Was it a punishnt or sothing else? What Luo Chen cared about the most was the tattered Battle Armor on their bodies. Although the Armor was damaged, the spot embroidered with the character for "Underworld" on their backs was indeed well protected.
From this detail, it could be inferred that the character "Underworld" represented a very important military identity. Judging by these five n's conduct and combat skills, they should belong to so kind of army. Could it an that in the forest ahead, there were even more such individuals?
This ti it was because these five were unlucky enough to have tunneled underground and fell right into Luo Chen's hands, but what about the next ti? Could he count on such good fortune? Moreover, if he encountered ten or twenty such individuals at the sa ti, he would probably have no choice but to turn tail and run, and even then he might not be able to escape.
Therefore, Luo Chen's plan was to imdiately halt exploration and mark the area ahead as dangerous if there were many more people wearing tattered Armor. Of course, all this was predicated on Luo Chen being able to capture these five individuals alive.
As the Seal Earth Wall continued to shrink, the originally fifty-mile wide vast space had now contracted to just about ten ters, and the Earth Elent inside had been compressed to almost the point of utmost compression. If more pressure was applied, the Earth Elent might turn into the tal Elent.
Taking a deep breath, Luo Chen, who had been half-kneeling, slowly stood up, with his right hand spread openly and slowly moving upward. As he lifted his right hand, the ground in front of him suddenly collapsed, and then, resembling a block of obsidian, a huge cubic block with a length of ten ters square erged along with the motion of Luo Chen's raised hand and rose into the air.
After fixing the massive cubic block in midair, Luo Chen leaped up and appeared on top of the shiny, tallic, dark cubic block. Once he reached the top of the cube, he could see ten similar dark stone giants, paired off, escorting a person wearing tattered Armor to the surface of the cube.
Ming Tu was there, as well as the man who had killed one of his companions with a single slap. Seeing that all five were indeed captured, Luo Chen truly heaved a sigh of relief. Although he didn't know why the man with such formidable strength was caught by him, Luo Chen was clearly very confident in the confining power of the black cube.
Even though the five of them were now kneeling on the ground, unable to move, Luo Chen remained utterly cautious. Holding the hilt of the sword in his hand, he cautiously approached Ming Tu. After verifying once again that the five were indeed suppressed by the power of the Seal Earth Wall, Luo Chen still dared not take it lightly.
After all, there were too many skilled individuals in this world, and although he was confident in his Seal Earth Wall, he could not guarantee that no one could break it. If he relaxed due to complacency and this was indeed a trap set by the enemy, then he probably wouldn't even know how he died.
After cautiously observing for a while and ascertaining that the five were indeed thoroughly suppressed and nothing out of the ordinary occurred, Luo Chen finally relaxed a bit!
"Ming Tu, right? How about we make a deal? I'll ask you so questions, and as long as you answer truthfully, I will let all five of you go. You can rest assured, we people of the Genesis Divine Nation value our reputation the most!" As he spoke, Luo Chen continued to invoke Mana to increase the suppression on the five.
"Sure, ask your questions!" To Luo Chen's surprise, Ming Tu agreed without a mont's hesitation, and his consent was very straightforward, as if there had been no hesitation at all. This was really strange. In Luo Chen's view, given these five were strong and natives of the Patrolling Celestial World, they should have a mindset of never yielding even in the face of death, yet Ming Tu's agreent was so prompt...
"Since you're so straightforward, I won't beat around the bush. But if I find even one lie in your answers, I will kill one person imdiately, and if I find another lie, then I'll kill another, until all are dead. So it's best you don't lie to ; otherwise, the only path left to you will be death!"
After speaking, Luo Chen fixed his gaze tightly on Ming Tu's face, wanting to see any signs of hesitation, struggle, or fear. However, Luo Chen was surprised once again because he could not discern any expression or emotion on Ming Tu's face, only calmness. It seed as though, in his eyes, all of this was trifling, sothing he did not take to heart in the slightest.
This behavior made Luo Chen feel sothing was off, but he did not pay it too much attention, simply assuming that Ming Tu possessed a resolute will.
Seeing Ming Tu nod slightly to indicate his understanding, Luo Chen then asked, "Who exactly are you five? Why did you suddenly attack us?"
The man answered with the sa calmness, "We belong to the Underworld God Army, and we attacked you for survival!" Not only was his expression composed, but even his voice conveyed a hint of serenity. His words were very succinct and his tone decisive, without a hint of nervousness that typically cos with being interrogated.
It was as if, in his perspective, the present situation was as ordinary as having tea and chatting with a slightly unfamiliar person. Luo Chen nodded slightly; during the previous battle, he had heard Ming Tu shouting sothing about the first division of the Underworld God Army. It appeared his guess was correct, these five were indeed from so military force.
"What is the Underworld God Army? And why are you wearing chains as if unlocked?" Luo Chen looked at the other four, noticing they had all closed their eyes. It looked like they were resigned to their fate, or perhaps they were entirely prepared for such a scenario, thus their calm deanor.
The man paused before continuing, "The Underworld God Army serves under Lord Underworld Venerate! The chains around us are placed by the Punisher as punishnt!"
Underworld Venerate? Punisher? Who were they? He had never heard these nas before. The na Underworld Venerate was entirely new to him, so he had no clue. But this Punisher... The initiator of this trial was called the Heavenly Patroller, the supre ruler of the entire universe, wielding the highest authority and the strongest might.
Then there was the Judge, whom he had heard was to supervise this edition of the Six Kingdoms War. And now this Punisher had appeared; could there be a connection between these three?
"Who is Underworld Venerate? And who is the Punisher?" Luo Chen had barely finished speaking when Ming Tu suddenly raised his head sharply, his eyes suddenly blazing with a thick murderous intent. Although not vast, this murderous intent was so intense that even Luo Chen felt endangered by it.
"The na of Lord Underworld Venerate is not one you are qualified to utter. Should you dare to speak his na directly again, I will ensure you die without a burial place. Don't think that the Dharma Seal used to bind is of a high level; it's only because I don't wish to reveal my true strength. You should be able to sense that I have the power to utterly annihilate you!" He spoke these words in the lowest of tones, then Ming Tu once again slowly lowered his head.
Startled by Ming Tu's murderous aura, it wasn't until Ming Tu lowered his head once more that Luo Chen felt the aura gradually fade away. Looking incredulously at Ming Tu, who was being held down by two stone soldiers, Luo Chen suddenly thought that Ming Tu's words might have been true.
However, Luo Chen had weathered many storms and cultivated amidst life and death, so naturally, he wouldn't be frightened off by Ming Tu's re words. With a wave of his right hand, the strength in the hands of the ten stone soldiers behind the five people surged, and the sound of muscles tearing reverberated from the five bodies.
Yet despite such excruciating pain, not one of the five made a sound. "I'll ask you one more ti, those two people you just ntioned, who are they?"
Although Luo Chen was not intimidated by Ming Tu, he was not prepared to test whether his words were true or false since his only intention was to learn more. Yet this ti, Ming Tu shook his head and said, "I cannot say. Even if you kill us all, we cannot reveal that. I advise you to change your question, otherwise, it will not be beneficial to you!"
As he spoke, Ming Tu raised his head again, a complex expression flashing in his eyes as he addressed Luo Chen.
"Really? I'll be the judge of whether it's beneficial to or not. I'll give you another chance, will you speak or not?"
"I will not speak; even if you want to die, I choose not to!"
(The update is a bit late, primarily because of various National Day gatherings, leaving with no ti to spare, sorry everyone!)
