The atmosphere had fallen into an eerie silence, and even Caoi had no idea what to expect. After all, she had only heard about the existence of the Netherworld Fortuity Fruit within the Supre Pool and had been searching for it tirelessly ever since she arrived in the Netherworld World, turning it upside down in the process.
Now, at long last, she had found the coveted fruit, and not just one but a whole five.
Under normal circumstances, Caoi would have never considered sharing such a precious item with others. But since that incident, she had co to realize that the power of one person was too insignificant. To achieve her goals, she had to learn how to utilize the strengths of others.
Of the three people in this situation, Caoi had long guessed Xi Zhao’s identity, or perhaps it was Xi Zhao that had initially led her to choose to join forces with Sun Wukong’s party. Xi Zhao was of no small origin, and though he was now deceased, such a character would not succumb so easily.
Only after integrating into the group did Caoi discover that not only was Xi Zhao a fearso presence, but even the monkey Sun Wukong, whom she had previously dismissed, was no simple figure. Not only did he possess the traits and aura of the Chaotic Giant Clan, but he also bore a striking resemblance to the Domain Lord of Myriad Demons Country.
Most importantly, Sun Wukong actually possessed a World Suppressing Stele from Desolate Island Number Three.
Caoi might have disregarded other matters, but the Heavenly Stele was sothing she could not ignore. If it were just that, she might have let it be, but then one night, after the little fox had consud that fruit on the Desolate Island, Caoi was shocked to discover that the little fox could now take human form.
And the little fox looked exactly like the Demon Queen of Myriad Demons Country, the Nine-Tailed Heavenly Fox. Further inquiries revealed that the little fox was, in fact, the daughter of Myriad Demons Country’s Demon Queen, the Nine-Tailed Heavenly Fox.
A great calamity had befallen Myriad Demons Country a hundred years prior, and for so unknown reason, the temper of Myriad Demons Country’s Domain Lord had drastically changed, intent on the complete destruction of the Nine-Tailed Heavenly Fox lineage.
The little fox had only preserved her soul by the entire clan’s sacrifice, but alas, only the soul remained, as the physical body was utterly destroyed.
It was at this point that Caoi realized she had unwittingly beco entangled in a vast vortex from which she could not – or perhaps, should not – extricate herself.
One who had unsurpassed status and power in life, one with the aura of the Chaotic Giant Clan and in possession of a World Suppressing Stele, and one who was the daughter of the leader of Myriad Demons Country’s most powerful clan, the Nine-Tailed Heavenly Fox, and the daughter of the Domain Lord.
These three individuals could beco her allies, and once they revived, her dream might not be so unattainable after all.
The presence of Sun Wukong only further impressed upon Caoi that this was an arrangent of destiny, a sign from the heavens that she was ant to realize that dream.
Thus, when she subsequently encountered the descendant of Ancient Feng Clan, Caoi was no longer surprised. With the mindset that more friends equaled more power, she invited Fla God to join their party as well.
Caoi knew well that these individuals had either great origins or imnse potential, yet they were not the sort to easily acknowledge others. Hence, she decided to share three of the five Netherworld Fortuity Fruits she had found with Sun Wukong, Xi Zhao, and Fla God.
This would not only significantly enhance their strengths and grant them the qualifications to vie for the ultimate path but would also foster a genuine bond between them. Third, once they consud the Netherworld Fortuity Fruits, they would truly beco her comrades-in-arms.
Caoi had also given one of the Creation Fruits to the little fox much earlier. Due to her own circumstances, Caoi could freely enter and exit the great tower to reach the boundless starry skies.
The bloodline of the Nine-Tailed Heavenly Fox allowed the little fox to consu the Creation Fruit without triggering any waves of the Power of Creation, so there was no need to worry about being detected by a Heavenly Patroller.
Observing the three of them successfully refine and absorb the imnse power of the Netherworld Fortuity Fruit, Caoi finally let out a long sigh of relief. Her path of vengeance had finally taken its first step. Once all five of them successfully revived, she could ally with Xi Zhao, and only then, Caoi believed, a glimr of hope had appeared.
Moreover, Caoi still had to find soone; however, eting him might cause so disputes with Sun Wukong. She could only hope he would understand that only the chosen master of the World Suppressing Stele was the true chosen one by fate. Those who gained the Stele through deception or violence would never et a good end.
As Caoi was contemplating these things, Xi Zhao suddenly opened his eyes, yet there was no trace of energy fluctuation or overflow of Divine Consciousness Power. Seeing that Xi Zhao had finished refining the fruit, Caoi was astonished and exclaid, "You’ve refined it already? How, how is that possible?
That’s the Netherworld Fortuity Fruit, how could you…" Indeed, Caoi was truly shocked, for such divine objects that existed only in legends should take months to refine at the very least, right?
But how much ti had passed? A quarter of an hour? Half an hour? Even if Xi Zhao’s talent were exceptional, it still shouldn’t be possible to refine it so quickly, could it?
```
But before Caoi could ask anything, Sun Wukong and Fla God also woke up one after another. When they opened their eyes, neither of them had a trace of strength circulating. They seed just like two ordinary mortals.
"You two, why did you wake up as well? Could it be that you failed? Did all three of you fail to advance? Why can’t I sense the strength of your realms?"
At this mont, Caoi was truly panicked. Everything she had planned was based on the assumption that all three of them would successfully ascend to beco Nine Patterns Supres. If all three of them failed to advance, wasting three Netherworld Creation Fruits would be a minor issue, but her plans for revenge would be completely ruined. Experience more on empire
Seeing Caoi so anxious she was almost crying, Sun Wukong and Fla God hehe’d with a smile and then both emitted an imnsely supre pressure. Sun Wukong’s pressure was more of a majestic, overwhelming force belonging to the heavens and the earth, while Fla God’s was a violent and scorching pressure unique to fire.
However, when their pressures bore down on Caoi, Caoi, Fla God, and Sun Wukong were all stunned. Caoi suddenly felt that their pressure was definitely that of Nine Patterns Supres and they had both cultivated their unique pressures.
This was enough proof that they had indeed succeeded in advancing and were now genuine Nine Patterns Supres.Caught between great sorrow and joy, she was sowhat stupefied.
Sun Wukong and Xi Zhao, on the other hand, had initially only intended to tease Caoi a little, but when their pressure combined with their Divine Sense touched her, they suddenly saw a world filled with despair and desolation, a broken world. Of course, it wasn’t seen with their eyes but sensed with their Divine Sense and the pressure that they emitted.
In this broken world, there was not the slightest bit of vitality, everything laid in ruins as if it had undergone so kind of catastrophic disaster that led to the complete destruction of the entire world.
Just as they were shocked and prepared to leave this world, the broken world suddenly changed. Originally empty, the sky suddenly filled with countless figures, and on the ground, the sky was densely packed with innurable figures, too nurous to count.
Furthermore, they saw that far away on the ground there were all sorts of corpses, so cut at the waist, others dismbered, so missing heads or limbs; it was a veritable mortal purgatory. Roughly estimating, within a few thousand miles, there were no less than tens of millions of corpses.
From the looks of it, there had been a recent, extrely fierce battle, and the number of participants was calculated in the billions. Even Sun Wukong, who was no stranger to slaughter, couldn’t help but feel a chill run through his heart. Fla God beside him turned ashen, equally shocked.
The two of them, as incarnations of their Divine Sense, looked up to the sky where, amidst the dense throng of soldiers, there was an empty space, clearly, these people had surrounded the two figures in that void.
But these were not the important things. The key thing was among the surrounded figures, one was dragging a World Suppressing Stele. The Heavenly Stele was dark and Sun Wukong couldn’t tear his gaze away after just one glance.
Because that stele, Sun Wukong was all too familiar with—every single Dao Pattern was known to him. Because that stele was the Wasteland Soil Stele that had saved his life countless tis. Who was this person? Why did they have the World Suppressing Stele’s Wasteland Soil Stele?
It was then that Sun Wukong rembered to take a closer look at the two figures who were surrounded. He saw that one was older, a middle-aged man with a broad face and long beard, clad in Battle Armor, holding up the World Suppressing Stele. The younger one beside him was also in Battle Armor, and from their appearances, the younger one seed to be the son of the older one.
Just as the middle-aged man holding the World Suppressing Stele was about to use the stele to carve out a path of survival, the surrounding soldiers abruptly retreated, expanding their circle significantly. Then, amidst the spatial fluctuations, four figures appeared out of thin air.
These four people each had a different appearance, but they had one thing in common: each of them was holding a World Suppressing Stele!
