Sarriel's pupils constricted. She thought that she had made it up when it appeared, but all of a sudden a voice echoed out that made her speechless.

She couldn't believe that he was actually still so reckless. How had he even managed to survive so long? Didn't he know how to keep his head down?!
But when Ryu was provoked, it was like he didn't care about anything else. So the mont he confird that it was actually Sarriel, and then shifted his Third Perspective to see the clash between Young Master Moon and Falling Snow, his chuckle echoed out.
"I see, so that's what's going on. You know, I had speculations about you Fey. What an annoying Race of people. I assu your existence is why the Martial Gods are always hiding their true power? I was wondering why that was..."
Selheira's mother had told him not to underestimate the Martial Gods, though that wasn't really necessary. She mistook his arrogance for underestimating an opponent. That was never sothing he did; he just felt that no matter who the opponent was, it didn't matter.

All of the Fey looked up into the air trying to see sothing, but there was nothing there. The aura was so fleeting, and it was completely untraceable.
With the evolution of his eyes, it was even easier for Ryu to use his Third Perspective like this. His relationship with Sarriel could be considered decent. In fact, because they were both from Sacrum and had followed a sowhat similar path, their Fate bond was actually strong enough for Ryu to sense her.
But...
It shouldn't be strong enough for him to pass through layers of protection and see the deepest-held secret of the Fey like this.
Still, it seed stupid that he was revealing himself like this. But this ti, Sarriel had misunderstood him.
After he broke through the barriers to get here, Ryu already knew that it was an impossibility for him to hide his presence.
Dao Gods gained small control over Fate much like Transcendeds did with Space. Because of that, they would certainly sense him given these circumstances.
In that case, why hide his head? When did he ever have anything to fear?
As for why he was provoked, it wasn't really because of Sarriel. He didn't care about her much at all. Although he had grown more mature since then, and he understood her perspective about lowering her head and biding her ti, he couldn't just reverse track and rebuild the attraction he had to her. That mory was already tainted, and even if she had co married, he wouldn't care, She wasn't his woman, after all. She could do whatever she wanted, and he had no desire to conquer all the beautiful won in the world. Let alone the fact that he had more than enough beautiful wives beneath his belt.
No, the real reason he was provoked was because of Eska, a woman he actually cared about.
Rembering Iseine's words that pushed him to give Wobbling Fairy a good ti, he knew that if he wanted his arrogant wife to be happy, he had to be a man that won only had good things to say about.
That was part of Eska's pride.
Before, she had laid down that pride for the sake of family. But as she grew more fond of Ryu, and felt that her previous decision wasn't so bad after all, that sa pride began to creep back up again before it exploded due to the Wobbling Fairy situation.
Ryu had already made a commitnt to woo his wives properly, and ironically enough, that happened to now place Sarriel on a list she couldn't escape from.
That said, he had no interest in making Sarriel his woman or his wife, or even concubine for that. matter.
He rembered Sarriel's goal quite clearly. She said she would marry whichever man proved himself to be strong enough to help her reach her goals.
He just had to prove to her that she was a fool for looking toward any man for that but himself.
As for what happened after she made that realization, he didn't give a damn. Just because she chose him didn't an that he had the obligation to choose her.
He was just doing this to keep his wife happy.
Darkness Rising and Shy's aura both flared as they tried to entrap Ryu's consciousness, but he didn't seem to notice.
Watching these Dao Gods try to match him in Fate and Karma control was like watching a toddler trying to grab a slippery fish out of a bowl.

"Sarriel, it seems that your husband candidates aren't quite so good after all, huh?
"I killed the brother of one of them, but here he is with his tail tucked between his legs. I'm sure he's learned of it by now, and yet he ca here instead of seeking out. Isn't he a bit too cowardly? He doesn't even want to face off against a re little Transcended?
"And what's with this other one? I thought your people hated the Ancient Beasts? But this oversized, pathetic excuse of a genius actually spliced his own Bloodline with that of a fox. Do you think he shits in the forest and slls it afterward too?"
Ryu's words were sharp and incisive, and for a mont, the two geniuses completely forgot that they were supposed to be clashing with one another.
Their expressions remained calm, as expected of geniuses. However, much like before, their gazes told a different story as their auras flared.
"I'm sure you all will be going to the God Grade Holy World. After all, you've spent so long planning all of this; it would be a sha if it fell through now.
"I'll be there to put an end to all of this. As for the matters of this woman, though... I'm sorry to inform you that they ended long ago. Her lips tasted quite sweet, in case you were wondering!" After saying these words, Ryu's aura vanished.
