Ryu took a breath and the entire world seed to revolve around him. [Third Perspective] activated, and it felt like he was watching the world from the skies above, with his own body becoming a faint extension of those senses.
His gaze flashed and his Mysteries of Heaven and Earth Pupils activated.
"Spread your wings and soar…" Ryu spoke softly.
QIIIIII!
The cry of a phoenix echoed, and before its shadow could be clearly seen, Ryu had suddenly moved, his great swordstaffs swinging down with a mighty montum.
A white phoenix spread its wings and soared into the skies, all the qi in the region seemingly being ripped into Ryu's control. ...
"What are those weapons? I've never seen them before."
"A sword and a polearm? It looks like a blacksmith used too much material on a glaive. What kind of weapon is that? How can they even be wielded properly?"
This world had simply never seen great swordstaffs. Even in Sacrum, they had been fringe weapons that almost no one used. Most there wouldn't even be familiar with them, let alone those in this world.
In truth, they were even more shocked by the audacity of Ryu to attack first against the master of control. But then they understood that he likely had no idea who this woman was. Of course, he would make such a mistake. He wouldn't be as clear about the strengths and weaknesses of their best.
Even so, many felt that it was ridiculous that he had actually chosen to attack soone two cultivation realms above him. Did he believe that Erald Vine was a simple target or sothing?
There were those, though, who couldn't help but react differently… especially Star River, who had just appeared high in the skies above.
At the mont, there was a one-part confused and one-part shocked expression on this Dao God's face… and that was because she could faintly recognize the great swordstaffs in Ryu's hands. Well, not the weapons themselves, but rather the materials they were made out of.
One of Ryu's great swordstaffs was pitch black, so dark in fact that it seed to swallow all light. It didn't look like it had any real, tangible form except when its angle changed just enough for you to see its edge.
It was an edge so sharp that even she couldn't help but feel her heart tremble. There was no way that Ryu could cut her with his strength, but she was suddenly wondering if the weapon in his hands might be able to if it was in the hands of another.
The other great swordstaff was a weapon that was the complete opposite. It was such a bright and bold gold that it looked almost more like an ornant than not… but it failed in truly being one because it was completely unadorned, just like the black shadow great swordstaff.
It was perfectly flat, and its sharp edges were even more prominent and obvious. It looked almost as thin as a sheet of paper, yet it was sohow rigid enough that it didn't wave and ripple at the speed that Ryu swung it down at.
That was definitely the product of Dove Wing and Raven Wing Ore. They were a high-class Lord Grade material that a True Sky God should have no business coming into contact with… unless they had suddenly co into a great amount of wealth.
Normally, she might assu that Ryu had just picked up these treasures sowhere, but her eyes were too sharp. She could see that these items had only very recently been forged.
Who had forged them? How was it possible when she was certain that Ryu hadn't interacted with anyone in these days? But there also weren't signs of blacksmithing near his Immortal Abode either.
How had this happened?

Ryu moved like lightning, appearing before the green-skinned woman in a flash. His blade moved of its own accord, swift, decisive, and powerful.
What no one seed to notice was that the mont he entered Erald Vine's range, his plant foot slightly twisted the grass beneath him.
His Dove Wing Great Swordstaff appeared by Erald Vine's neck. She was still smiling lightly as though she didn't notice that her neck was about to be cut, and it was at that very instant that the scene changed.
Nature exploded along with her battle intent and the grass on the ground twisted and rose up, shooting toward Ryu with blinding speed.
They restricted his movents perfectly, several flying toward his arm and several more moving to carry her away.
A small little green soul appeared on Erald Vine's forehead. Its little arms moved like lightning, completing hand seal after hand seal.
With a glance, Ryu could see through it. These hand seals were each commanding small, minor changes to the world around them. It was a magnificent technique and it was interlaced with her Dao so perfectly that they practically seed synonymous.
"That makes things even easier," Ryu said lightly.
Erald Vine's expression suddenly changed as she realized her vines actually weren't going to make it there in ti. She looked toward where Ryu's foot was, realizing that he had imbalanced the Feng Shui in the region with a single violent stomp… or so it seed.
In reality, he had sent a strong pulse of Ice Qi downward, controlling a spiraling swirl that froze the root systems in the region. Yet, his power was so perfectly controlled that it didn't even feel cold.
The hand seals ca to a stop and the small green figure slamd its hands together. At that mont, Erald Vine activated a movent technique, vanishing into a swirl of green leaves.
Ryu's blade passed right through and the world was left in silence.

On the outside, the group didn't believe what they were watching. At first, they sneered at Ryu's attempt, but then they saw sothing they never thought they would see.
Erald Vine slowly raised a finger to her neck, touching the blood that appeared.
The queen of control had actually been injured.
