Ryu moved on to a more interesting path, that being his ridians. He wanted to see if there were any other odd deviations that the Chaotic Silk ridians would need to take after entering the Sky God Realms.
It felt good to know he could read the perfect path now and wouldn't have to stumble around blindly, but in an irony of all ironies, he could only bitterly chuckle at the result.
Of course it would be the case that his Chaotic Silk ridians would fly the straight and narrow from now on. Other than the fact it would support two Spiritual Foundations now, it couldn't have been any simpler. He just had to progress both.
If anything, the only anchor holding him back was his Beyond Perfect Extre Spiritual Foundation. This was because improving it was a headache.
Although he wouldn't have to gather anymore treasures, just the sheer amount of energy it would take was mind-numbing. By the ti he was ready to enter the False Sky God Realm, he would probably have to have absorbed as much as one would have to in order to enter the True Sky God Realm. And from there, it would only get worse.
Of course, that didn't include the White Phoenix Spiritual Foundation either, so just to beco a False Sky God, Ryu would have to gather the average energy of soone closer to a Perfect Sky God.
'This is just asinine. My talent isn't even certainly better than those of the Eighth Heaven or higher, and I'm sure they don't have to go through this much trouble...'
Ryu chuckled at himself and shook his head.
His talents were great, but they had yet to synergize like those of the Eighth Heaven and above had. Due to this, not only was he not 100% confident just yet in having surpassed them, their progression was also leagues simpler than his own.
'Perfect. Just how I like it. I love getting kicked, Heavens. Keep it coming.'
Ryu was in a great mood, honestly. None of what he was reading fazed him, but when he caught sight of sothing else, his heart skipped a beat.
EmbryonicEssenceEmbryonicEssence
The words echoed in his ears and he subconsciously knew that it was referring to his second pair of ridians, a pair that he had honestly ignored outside of its ability to heal him.
He cross-referenced what he was perusing with what was coming from the Beyond Perfect Extre Spiritual Foundation and he settled into a certain understanding.
Indeed, the Beyond Perfect Extre Spiritual Foundation was able to form a second pair of ridians for you based on your first. However, it couldn't do this with just any pair of ridians, or at the very least, you would need to bring a pair you had to an "Extre" first.
Ryu, obviously, didn't have to put in so much effort. His Chaotic Silk ridians were already at that level, and so he gained his second pair imdiately.
What was interesting, though, was the fact that this second pair of ridians, the Embryonic Essence ridians as the Heavens called it, had never existed before.
This was odd because Ryu was fairly certain that there was a counterpart to his Chaotic Silk ridians that granted use of Essence as opposed to Chaos Qi. So he was wondering why he acquired this pair of ridians instead of the natural selection.
The answer, though, seed to be hidden within him.
His Chaotic Silk ridians were connected with his White Phoenix Spiritual Foundation. The two had a spiritual sort of connection and they were as one. Even now, his Embryonic Essence ridians hadn't connected with his White Phoenix Spiritual Foundation, and was only connected to his Beyond Perfect Extre Spiritual Foundation.
According to the Heavens, the first thing he should do was complete this link and thus the loop of his ridians. This way, he would have two ridian Pathways and two Spiritual Foundations, all of which were interconnected.
However, this wasn't what had truly caught his attention. What was more interesting was the implied connection between his Embryonic Qi, the White Phoenix, and the White Heavenly Patterns, not to ntion the mysterious white fla he still could not properly pronounce the na of.
The number of benefits for completing this link and loop within his body were too many to na, but just to paint the picture of how important this matter was, once Ryu succeeded in forming the connection, he would be able to use his Embryonic Qi as the conduit for his White Phoenix Heavenly Patterns.
It had to be rembered that the White Phoenix Heavenly Patterns could break the laws of the Heavens much like the Unbalance Mantra could.
If he could use his Embryonic Qi in this way, the limitations it had begun to stack in its ability to heal his body would practically vanish. On top of that, Ryu would finally gain a thod of striking with his Embryonic Qi as well.
Heavenly Patterns might as well have been techniques distilled down into fundantal runes. This breakthrough would be the equivalent of Ryu suddenly gaining a depository of technique thods for his Chaos Qi!
That also gave him another idea. Were there Heavenly Patterns that he could use that would be compatible with his Chaos Qi?
He wasn't sure. Even his Dark Phoenix Heavenly Patterns were firmly on the side of Order. Just because sothing was dark didn't an that it was chaotic. Death, in so ways, was the ultimate sign of Order.
Once again, he was getting ahead of himself, though, because completing this loop didn't seem like a simple task.
For one, the White Phoenix Spiritual Foundation was a bit... unruly. But that wasn't his main concern.
The only ti it was "simple" to form such a link was during the Spiritual Severing Realm. The second easiest ti was ditating on the experience of the Spiritual Severing Realm's success.
Ryu had not only skipped over the Spiritual Severing Realm, he had no experience with this at all.
In addition, he was a Sky God now. Changing his body prior to Godhood was an almost simple task, but now it was like everything had been locked into place.
Given the strength of his body, if he wanted to succeed, he would need at least a Perfect Grade God Herb. But even that wouldn't help his lack of experience in the matter at all.
'Fantastic,' Ryu thought, a little bit less amused. 'Hm?'
He suddenly gazed up and smiled. What was this guy doing back ho?
"Hey, over there. Isn't that Primus' disciple?"
The man in the distance faltered before his fury streaked through the skies.
"Ryu! You son of a bitch! If I don't tear you limb from limb -!"
A string of curse words echoed through Sacrum.
