The flickering torches cast shadows as the Chief Judge Francesco slowly erged.
The dim, wavering light added a grim and ruthless hue to his face, which appeared harsh and unfeeling in the daylight.
With a mocking expression, he looked at the two solemn figures before him, his cold face full of disdain.
“As the Pope predicted, you lot… indeed chose this mont to stir up trouble!”
After speaking, he waved his hand, and nearly a hundred fully ard Judgnt Knights surged out from the darkness.
They were expressionless, powerful, and even the weakest among them had strength at the peak of Silver Moon.
The silvery glow on their weapons revealed the unique magical energy of the magical formation.
In an instant, these Judgnt Knights surrounded Sebastian and Nice.
Feeling the overwhelming power of the magical formation, Sebastian and Nice’s expressions changed slightly.
“No, Sebastian, this is a trap. We must activate the teleportation array and leave here quickly. We can’t confront these Judgnt Knights who have been trained in the magical formation head-on!”
Nice whispered.
“The spatial field here has been sealed off by a magical barrier, hasn’t it?”
“Not completely. We can still try, but… I need so ti.”
Hearing Nice’s words, Sebastian’s expression grew serious.
He took a deep breath and gently closed his eyes. When he opened them again, his crimson eyes had taken on a blood-red hue.
Crimson flas blossod around him, and Sebastian’s aura surged, quickly approaching the Legendary level.
He ford a series of intricate Elven rune seals with his hands and then drew a burning sword from the flas.
The mont the sword was in his hand, his aura grew even stronger, finally breaking through so invisible barrier and reaching the Legendary level.
“I’ll handle them and buy you ti. You need to find a loophole in the magical barrier and summon our master! But… you must be quick. I can’t maintain this state for long!”
Sebastian said.
His eyes were blood-red, and the veins on his body bulged, making him look even more nacing.
“Damn! You’re burning your bloodline? You… you’re actually daring to do this a second ti in your life? Are you out of your mind?!”
Nice’s eyes widened in shock.
“Stop talking! Get to work! If you don’t, we’re both dead!”
Sebastian shouted.
With that, he kicked Nice into a corner and then turned to face the approaching Judgnt Knights alone.
“Take them down. Their lives don’t matter.”
Chief Judge Francesco coldly issued the order.
The Judgnt Knights moved in unison, drawing their swords and charging at the two.
The battle erupted in an instant.
This was not an evenly matched fight.

Though Sebastian had temporarily broken through to the Legendary rank by burning his bloodline, giving him Legendary-level power, he was not yet a true Legendary who could fully wield such power.
On the other hand, the nearly hundred Judgnt Knights, empowered by the magical formation, could unleash a force beyond the ordinary, capable of threatening even Legendary beings.
In less than three minutes under the onslaught of the Judgnt Knights, Sebastian was covered in countless wounds. His black night robes gradually turned dark red with blood, and his flushed face paled.
anwhile, though more than ten Judgnt Knights had been felled by Sebastian, the magical formation continued to function without a hitch.
Even further away, the Legendary Chief Judge Francesco hadn’t joined the battle, rely watching coldly from a distance.
“Nice… how much longer do you need?”
“Almost there! Stop rushing !”
“You’d better hurry… I can’t hold on much longer!”
Sebastian grumbled.
Despite his complaints, he continued to fight on.
The Judgnt Knights pressed closer, driving the two into a corner.
After Sebastian cut down the twentieth Judgnt Knight, the crimson flas around him finally began to wane.
His Legendary aura plumted, dropping from the peak of Blazing Sun to its early stages, and then down to Silver Moon.
In the end, he couldn’t even maintain the power of Silver Moon, falling back to the early stages of Starry Sky, blood streaming from his eyes, nose, mouth, and even ears.
He slowly collapsed, no longer able to stand and continue fighting.
“Sebastian!”
Nice cried out in alarm.
Soon, the remaining Judgnt Knights had completely surrounded the two.
“No wonder you two, the most promising of the True Ancestor of Blood’s follower, managed to hold out so long against my Judgnt Knights, killing so many of them. And you almost broke the barrier I personally set up…”
A raspy voice echoed as the Judgnt Knights made way, and Chief Judge Francesco stepped forward.
He looked down at the powerless Sebastian and Nice, a hint of admiration on his old face, though it quickly turned to regret.
“Unfortunately… you bear Her mark. Though I would have liked to turn you into my Lord’s servants, to be safe, I must erase all traces of your existence.”
With that, he raised the bible in his hand once more, his voice solemn and exalted.
“God said, ‘Let there be fire, the fire that consus all!’”
As he spoke, his fingertip blazed with brilliant light, and platinum flas ignited before him.
Francesco waved his hand, and the flas descended upon the two.
“This is the holy fla that the Creator used to slay myths. To be consud by the God-slaying flas is an honor.”
As the white-gold flas descended upon them, Sebastian, who had slumped against the black cat form of Nice, coughed blood and regretfully closed his eyes.
“I’m sorry… Your Excellency, Sebastian… I have failed you.”
He spoke weakly.
The platinum flas were about to engulf them when suddenly, an ethereal voice echoed through the underground chamber.
“No, God did not say that.”
The platinum flas instantly dissipated as if they had never existed.
At the sa ti, the Chief Judge Francesco, who held the bible, turned pale and spat out a mouthful of blood, clearly suffering from the backlash of a high-level divine spell being forcibly interrupted.
But he paid no attention to his condition, instead staring in disbelief at Sebastian and Nice, his eyes widening in fear.
“No… this is impossible!”
Blinding white-gold light filled the air.
A holy-white and crimson glow intertwined, and from the void, a vast, sacred, luminous, yet heavy, and dark presence slowly descended…
In the terrified gaze of Chief Judge Francesco, the void rippled, and a slender, fair arm reached out.
The arm glowed faintly, holy and dreamlike, as if it did not belong to this world.
As the arm appeared, a murmuring hymn echoed.
Hearing the divine hymn, the weakened Nice’s body trembled.
He struggled to lift his head, and his cat eyes widened.
“A holy hymn… is this… could this be the legendary Holy Hymn unique to the Holy Court’s mythology?”
He muttered, his eyes widening as he gazed into the void.
Accompanied by the ethereal hymn of the Holy Court, a figure surrounded by holy light and crimson glow stepped out from the void.
There was no summoning rune, no visible array, as if she had always been there from the beginning.
Her beautiful silver hair fluttered with the ripple of divine power, her crimson-gold pupils glowed with alternating platinum and crimson hues, and her iconic saintly dress proclaid her identity.
“The Saintess… no, the True Ancestor of Blood… Charlotte de Castell!”
Seeing those holy light-emitting, indifferent crimson eyes, Chief Judge Francesco’s eyes widened, and for the first ti, his old face showed fear.
“Master… Sebastian has… failed you again…”
Sebastian’s voice was choked with emotion.
Hearing Sebastian’s voice, Charlotte’s icy crimson-gold eyes softened slightly.
Her expression relaxed, her crimson lips moved, and her ethereal voice turned gentle.
“No, you both did well.”
A pale light swept across the ground, and green grass and flowers blood. Under that light, Nice and Sebastian’s wounds healed rapidly, and Sebastian’s aura, incredibly, began to recover, quickly rising from Starry Sky to once again reach the peak of Blazing Sun…
