A tall and a short young man led the way. After passing through a winding staircase and then a stone gate, they finally arrived at an open area!
The area was surrounded by mountain walls on all sides, resembling a basin but extraordinarily massive, encircled by a grove of trees leaving only a small path exposed!
The trees were laden with snow, and the ground was a vast expanse of white, evoking a sense of arriving at a mystical fairyland!
Afterwards, with the guidance of the two young n, Lin Fan walked through the path amidst the woods and finally arrived in front of a grand and luxurious building!
A tall wall encircled several palaces, and from where Lin Fan stood, the palace at the center was particularly prominent, as grand as the Taihe Palace in the Forbidden City.
In front of Lin Fan was a towering gate, entirely made of cyan stones, at least seven or eight ters tall. Standing beneath the gate gave people a sense of oppression, as if being overlooked by a supre master.
The three large characters "Celestial Tower" were carved in a flamboyant and elegant style on the gate, looking both arrogant and majestic in their age-old appearance. For a sect like this, all buildings were handmade, without a trace of modern technology. The ability to construct such a grand and luxurious manor by hand is a testant to the exceptional brilliance of ancient Huaxia artisans!
"Senior Brother, Second Senior Brother!"
The two disciples at the gate greeted the tall and short young n respectfully after seeing them.
"Report to the Sect Leader, Lin Fan has arrived!" the tall young man imdiately said.
The two disciples were startled upon hearing it was Lin Fan. The matter of Lin Fan snatching the "sheepskin scroll" from the Celestial Tower's Master Uncle was no secret within the Celestial Tower, and at that mont, seeing Lin Fan's presence filled their gazes with hostility!
However, Lin Fan's face showed no sign of worry, retaining an air of calmness with a hint of an amused smile hanging at the corner of his mouth!
As the two disciples went back to report to the Sect Leader, Lin Fan, along with the tall and short young n, strode through the gate and entered!
Though snow was still falling, there wasn't much accumulation within the sect grounds of Celestial Tower, indicating it had been swept already; the ground was very smooth, resembling a mirror once covered with a thin layer of snow. Fortunately, Lin Fan's footing was stable, or else he would have slipped!
Soon after, Lin Fan finally arrived in front of the main hall of Celestial Tower, a grand and imposing palace with two stone pillars standing at the entrance, engraved with the sect's ancestral teachings.
Swish, swish~
Before long, a group of disciples suddenly rushed out from within the palace, forming two lines by the entrance, surrounding Lin Fan. The gaze they cast upon Lin Fan sparkled coldly, like a pack of wolves eyeing their prey, ready to strike at a mont's notice!
Subsequently, a middle-aged man in a gray long robe, with hair interspersed with black and white twisted up into a bun, and a beard on his chin, strode out from the palace—it was the elder in a gray robe who had vied for the "sheepskin scroll" with Lin Fan!
And this man was none other than the Grand Elder of Celestial Tower, Gu Youming!
"You audacious brat, you really dare co to my Celestial Tower, utterly insolent. Today, I will use your blood to wash away my disgrace!"
Gu Youming, with eyes ablaze, roared towards Lin Fan!
"Old man, I didn't expect to see you here again. Nice to et you, hope that injury of yours is healed?" Lin Fan shrugged, spoke cheerfully.
In the previous dispute over the "sheepskin scroll
