43: Chapter 43 The Beginning of Revenge 43: Chapter 43 The Beginning of Revenge Eight months had passed since the car accident.

Julia Land not only lost her mory when she awoke,

but her personality had also changed.

She used to be a cool, mature, and charming woman.

Now she was like a fiery chili pepper.

And that chili pepper was quite pungent.

“Sophia, are you going out?”

Sophia Hart had moved in to live with Julia Land, as she was worried about her.

When Julia Land awoke, she didn’t rember Sophia Hart.

She didn’t rember Violet either.

Sophia Hart watched her transform into a completely different person, full of thoughts and eyes only for Noah Quarter.

Sotis, when Sophia Hart saw Julia Land like this, she didn’t know whether to feel sad for her, or happy that at least she had forgotten the pain.

Julia Land’s right foot was on the edge of the bed as she bent down to tie a red string around her right ankle.

Her ankle was fair.

Her figure curvaceous.

She was dressed in a black tube top revealing her slender waist, and a super short skirt, her long, straight legs temptingly exposed.

A spicy and alluring outfit.

“Sophia, I might co back late tonight, so go to sleep first, okay?”

Julia Land originally had beautiful long hair, which she had shaved off due to the car accident, but over the months, she had grown a very stylish short haircut.

Sophia Hart leaned against the door, curiously asking, “Where are you going tonight?”

Miss Land seems to be in a good mood today.

Julia Land checked herself in the mirror again, applied more lipstick, pursed her lips, and replied, “To find my ex-husband.”

Sophia Hart watched as Julia Land left the house, unable to stop her.

A red sports car was parked at the entrance of the building.

Julia Land walked over, took the car keys handed over by the bodyguard, and sat in the driver’s seat.

She now disliked having bodyguards.

The red sports car sped along the road.

She loved the feeling of the wind blowing across her face as it soared, with DJ dance music playing inside as Julia Land humd along, her voice tender and lingering.

The car was on the highway bridge when it suddenly broke down.

Julia Land pulled over, got out to check the tires, and frowned.

She still had to rush to et Noah Quarter, and ti was tight.

She took out her phone to call for soone to pick her up and deal with the car.

A lot of cars passed back and forth on the highway bridge, but Julia Land didn’t dare to flag down a ride from just anyone.

If she encountered a bad person, that would be terrible.

Occasionally, cars passed by, and so n would take a look at Julia Land.

A great figure.

A black sedan stopped behind her red sports car and honked the horn.

The car window rolled down, revealing a face that was irresistibly suave.

His lips curved with a flippant smile, “Miss Land?”

The change was almost unrecognizable.

If he hadn’t thought the girl by the roadside had a nice figure and had wanted to stop for a chat, he really wouldn’t have thought that this woman was Julia Land.

Julia Land approached, eyeing the man curiously, “Who are you?”

Trevor Sullivan suddenly rembered, this individual had lost her mory.

“Trevor Sullivan.

I once delivered takeaway to you,” he said, eyebrows raised in question, “Rember ?”

Actually, what he really wanted to ask was, do you rember Jas Thompson?

Trevor Sullivan’s smile faded.

Julia Land raised an eyebrow, “Why were you delivering takeaway to before?

Trying to hit on ?”

Trevor Sullivan, “…No, it was a favor for soone.”

He would have liked to, but not his friend’s woman.

Julia Land didn’t continue to ask who had asked for the favor; she didn’t recognize him anyway.

“Mr.

Sullivan, could I get a ride from you, to a place?”

“Sure, get in,” Trevor Sullivan replied briskly.

Julia Land smiled, “Thank you.”

She went to open the rear car door, bent down, one leg stepping in, only to realize there was a man already sitting inside.

The man, just by sitting there, exuded an intimidating presence.

He was in a plain white shirt, leaning against the seatback, seemingly asleep.

Julia Land was neither able to retreat nor proceed, so she just sat down, legs together, sitting properly.

Trevor Sullivan hooked a corner of his mouth into a smile and turned back to ask her, “Where would Miss Land like to go?”

Julia Land, “Quarter Group, thank you.”

Trevor Sullivan sneaked a glance at Jas Thompson, noticed he was sleeping, then turned his back to start driving.

Julia Land felt the car’s air conditioning was a bit cold; she had dressed sparingly today, and her exposed skin began to goosebump.

She rubbed her arms.

Bowing her head, she glanced at her chest, where her strapless top had slipped a bit.

Julia Land pulled up her black strapless top; it was too big and quite annoying.

“The air conditioning is too cold.”

A deep voice, bearing the raspiness of soone who had just woken up, suddenly sounded lazily.

Trevor Sullivan arched an eyebrow, adjusting the air conditioner’s temperature; the two n were feeling quite hot.

He looked at the rearview mirror, wanting to see the expression on Jas Thompson’s face.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t make out anything.

And Julia Land turned her head to look at the man beside her.

He was looking at her as well.

The man’s eyes were deep, yet carried a sense of detachedness.

His gaze traveled unabashedly across her face, her body, her legs, one by one.

Julia Land pressed her legs together.

After Jas Thompson had taken in her spicy outfit, he withdrew his gaze and closed his eyes.

The car quieted down.

Julia Land cast her eyes downward and took out her phone to send a ssage, giving a heads-up to the person who had just contacted her for pickup.

She faintly kept slling the light, refreshing scent of the man’s cologne.

Julia Land felt it odd and shifted in her seat.

The car stopped outside the Quarter Group headquarters.

Julia Land thanked him again and stepped out of the car.

Jas Thompson’s long legs, encased in the fabric of his suit pants, crossed elegantly.

He watched her, sashaying her hips and clipping along in her high heels into the Quarter Group building.

He undid a few buttons on his shirt; his gaze grew heavier.

“Let’s go.”

He spoke in a deep voice.

Trevor Sullivan, “I heard your old man wants to arrange a fiancée for you?”

Jas Thompson lifted his gaze, languid and detached, “Curious?”

Trevor Sullivan felt a chill at the back of his neck, “Not curious.”

Julia Land entered the Quarter Group building and approached the reception desk, “Which floor is Director Quarter’s office on?”

The receptionist recognized the forr Secretary Land.

But the current Julia Land had changed quite a bit, making it hard for the receptionist to recognize her at first.

“Do you have an appointnt?”

Julia Land smiled, “I am Director Quarter’s ex-wife, I have a matter to discuss with him.”

At this, the receptionist recognized Julia Land; the forr Secretary Land had long hair and always wore formal attire to work.

Now, Secretary Land sported a super short haircut and wore revealing clothing.

If it weren’t for that gorgeous face belonging to the sa person, it would have been difficult to recognize her.

Julia Land tapped her index finger on the reception desk, arching her brow, “So can you tell which floor it is?”

“Secretary…

Land, the Chairman’s office is on the 20th floor.”

“Thanks,” Julia Land curved her lips into a smile, “Just call Julia Land.”

Once she departed, the receptionist ca to her senses.

Had Secretary Land lost her mory?

And it shouldn’t matter that she didn’t have an appointnt, right?

After all, Director Quarter and Secretary Land were once husband and wife.

Still, the receptionist decided to call the Chairman’s secretary to report.

Julia Land reached the 20th floor, only to find Alexander Strong standing outside the elevator.

He was surprised to see her.

She had changed too much.

During the ti Julia Land was hospitalized, Alexander Strong would visit her.

Although she didn’t rember him, they beca sowhat familiar over ti.

“Secretary Strong.”

“Miss Land, the Director is waiting for you in his office,” Alexander Strong led her to the office door.

He raised his hand to knock lightly, pushed the door open, and allowed Julia Land to enter.

The man in the suit and leather shoes stood by the glass window, backlit.

His gaze followed Julia Land as she entered.

Deep and probing.

Julia Land’s face broke into a smile, and she walked enthusiastically towards him in her high heels, “Noah, we agreed to have dinner together tonight.”

She ward to him.

With a passion.

The planned wedding between Noah Quarter and Arabella Shaw had been canceled after Julia Land was in a car accident and, a few days later, the Quarter Family matriarch passed away.

The wedding could only be postponed until after Arabella Shaw gave birth to the child.

Julia Land’s face held a joyful smile, yet her heart harbored a chill of hatred.
