Dina’s lips curled into a mischievous smirk.

She leaned in just a bit, enough to make it obvious that she was enjoying this way more than she should. "I don’t know," she teased, her eyes gleaming with amusent. "Do I?"

Gon let out a tired sigh, rubbing the back of his neck as his patience finally ran out.

This conversation was going nowhere, and Dina was clearly enjoying dragging it out.

Without another word, he turned on his heel, ready to walk away.

But the mont he moved, he heard it—

"Wait!"

Dina’s voice ca out quicker than she intended, sharp and urgent, like she hadn’t even thought before speaking.

Gon ca to an abrupt halt, his boots pressing firmly against the dirt path beneath him.

The silence that followed felt almost deafening, the distant chirping of birds and the whispering wind through the trees doing little to soften the tension now crackling in the air.

His hands curled slightly at his sides, fingers brushing against the fabric of his worn pants, but he did not turn around.

He kept his breathing even, controlled, though the weight of the mont pressed against his shoulders like an unseen force urging him to react.

Instead, he tilted his head just slightly, enough to show he was listening but not enough to reveal his face.

"What?" he asked, his voice smooth and asured.

Dina scoffed, the sharp sound cutting through the tense air like the snap of a whip.

Her arms were likely crossed, her weight shifted onto one hip in that infuriatingly confident way of hers.

"Do you give up so easily?" she taunted, her voice laced with mockery, each syllable deliberate and edged with challenge.

The amusent in her tone was subtle but unmistakable, as though she found his hesitation mildly disappointing.

"I would imagine the Duke’s son was more persistent."

Gon let out an exhausted sigh, the weight of it carrying more than just fatigue—it held frustration, resignation, and perhaps the barest trace of amusent.

His shoulders, tense from restraint, finally loosened as he turned around, his gaze settling on Dina with a mixture of weariness and sothing unreadable.

"On important things, yes" he said, his voice calm but firm, each word asured as if he had already thought this through.

His expression remained unreadable, but his eyes—those sharp, calculating eyes—betrayed sothing deeper, sothing that flickered just beneath the surface.

Dina let herself gasp dramatically, pressing a hand to her chest as if Gon had just delivered the gravest insult imaginable.

Her eyes widened, sparkling with feigned shock, and her lips parted in exaggerated disbelief.

"What?" she exclaid, drawing out the word as if it physically pained her. "You an I’m not important?"

She tilted her head slightly, studying him with a mix of playful defiance and mock injury, though there was a glint of sothing sharper beneath the act.

As much as she was teasing, there was an edge to her words—an unspoken challenge.

She slinked forward, each step deliberate, smooth, like a cat toying with its prey.

The space between them shrank with agonizing slowness until she was right in front of him once again, close enough that he could see the amusent dancing in her eyes.

Dina tilted her head slightly, a smirk curling at the edges of her lips. "Well?" she pressed, voice softer now, laced with sothing teasing yet unrelenting. "Are you going to take it back, or should I be deeply offended?"

Her presence was unmistakable—commanding, unshakable.

She knew exactly how to occupy a space, how to get under his skin without ever truly pushing too far.

"I... I—" Gon faltered, his usual steady deanor cracking for just a mont at the sudden closeness.

He hadn’t expected her to close the distance so quickly, hadn’t braced himself for the way her presence suddenly felt heavier, more tangible.

Dina’s smirk deepened, sensing the hesitation, the brief slip in his composure. She leaned in slightly—not enough to be overbearing, but just enough to keep him off balance.

"You know what I think, Gon?" she asked, her voice dropping to a smooth, almost conspiratorial tone.

It was the first ti she had spoken his na, and the mont it left her lips, Gon felt sothing shift.

He hadn’t noticed before—hadn’t realized how much he’d been waiting for it—until now.

The way she said it, smooth yet deliberate, as if she had always known how it should sound, sent a strange warmth curling through his chest.

"How can I?" Gon asked, his voice carrying both frustration and curiosity. His brows drew together as he studied her face, searching for aning in her words.

"I think... your lips are beautiful," she breathed, her voice barely above a whisper. Her gaze flickered down to his mouth for the briefest mont before returning to his eyes, as if to emphasize her words.

Gon’s lips parted slightly, his breath hitching.

"Really?" he asked, his voice quieter now, laced with disbelief.

There was no hesitation in her expression, no trace of amusent.

Instead, there was a softness, a sincerity that made his chest tighten in a way he didn’t fully understand.

"Yes," she replied without hesitation, her eyes locked onto his. Then, with a playful tilt of her head, she added, "Are they as good tasting as they look?"

A slow smirk spread across Gon’s lips. He could feel the warmth of her gaze lingering on his mouth, her curiosity clear in the way she spoke.

Leaning slightly closer, he answered smoothly, "You’d have to find out."

She didn’t need any more encouragent. "Okay," she whispered, her voice carrying both excitent and certainty.

Then, closing the small distance between them, she leaned in, her lips brushing against his in a kiss that was both soft and deliberate.

Gon wasn’t entirely sure how things had shifted so quickly—from exchanging heated words in a fight to sharing an even hotter kiss—but he wasn’t about to complain.

Her lips were warm, soft, and surprisingly gentle against his.

He hadn’t expected this mont, yet now that it was happening, he found himself sinking into it, enjoying the way her body slowly leaned into his, as if she were lting into his embrace.
