When he could hear the steady heartbeat, he tried to feel for the thick band of energy around it.
He imdiately felt the thrum of a single mana ring.
Gon's eyes flew open.

After a while of rejoicing, he cald down a little.

She sank into the bed beside him. "So what is it that you want to show ?", She asked him.
Gon thought about what to say for a log ti, then he smiled.
"I have mana now", He said, beaming at her.
Elsa had suspected the young lord was slowly losing his mind but now she could confirm it.
No-one developed mana out of thin air, once you weren't born with it, that was the end.
But she played along and nodded. "That's very interesting. Good news indeed".
"I know right?" Gon replied, oblivious to the fact that she was gaming him.
