While the Green Origin Pills were useful, they wouldn't be needed if the battle ended quickly. On the other hand, the Heart of Fla could enhance the power of his fire-based ninjutsu and skills, possibly even increasing the power of his Amaterasu.
Although Amaterasu isn't technically a ninjutsu but rather a dōjutsu, it is still considered a fire-based skill, so it should fall within the Heart of Fla's enhancent range.
