After finding this book, the Buddha Tathāgata truly regarded it as a priceless treasure. At this mont, he broke into a smile, thinking that as long as he could make good use of this book, then soon enough, he would be able to give Ye Tian a taste of his own dicine.
Guanyin Bodhisattva had already gone off to gather materials. Once everything was collected, he believed that they could use it to transfer Ye Tian to another spaceti.
As long as Ye Tian remained here, the Buddha Tathāgata was no longer his match. That was why he had to find a way to send Ye Tian elsewhere—and he had already begun preparations for this.
After so ti, the materials were finally gathered, and the array was now fully set up. All that was left was to lure Ye Tian here and activate the formation.
"Buddha, the next step is to find Ye Tian and bring him here. Please allow to handle this task."
"No."
Tathāgata gave a small smile and said, "How could I let you do sothing like this? I'll handle it personally. You must understand, I've suffered greatly at his hands—so this ti, I have to take care of it myself. That way, I can get a little more sense of accomplishnt, don't you think?"
Hearing this, Guanyin Bodhisattva nodded slightly, though she couldn't help but think: Has the Buddha Tathāgata also beco petty and vindictive?
But on second thought, this wasn't all that surprising. After all, the Buddha had indeed been thoroughly humiliated by Ye Tian, so it was only natural for him to want to reclaim so dignity.
After a short while, the Buddha Tathāgata arrived at where Ye Tian was. Ye Tian was deep in cultivation and didn't expect the Buddha to show up here at this ti.
"Ye Tian, co out!"
Ye Tian erged from Huaguo Mountain and looked at the Buddha Tathāgata. "Why are you here?"
"Why else would I be here? Obviously, I'm here to cause you trouble. If you really think I ca for anything else, then you're sorely mistaken. I ca here with one purpose—to deal with you!"
"Oh? You seem rather arrogant now. What, do you think your strength surpasses mine?"
At this mont, Ye Tian truly felt that the Buddha's strength was still no match for his own. So why had he co to provoke him today?
Judging by his tone, he was unusually confident. That in itself made the whole situation seem off.
If his strength was inferior, then why was he acting so bold in front of Ye Tian?
There had to be a reason—so sort of plan. He clearly had a purpose, but Ye Tian just couldn't figure out what it was. So he said coldly, "Hmph. If you really think you've got what it takes, then let's see what you've got. Didn't you say you ca to cause trouble? I'd love to see how you plan to do that."
"You're really not afraid?"
"What's there to be afraid of? I already know you're no match for . So I figure there must be so other reason why you're here. I just can't quite see through you yet. But no matter what your motives are, I'm sure you'll reveal your true colors soon enough."
"You—!"
The Buddha Tathāgata was seething with hatred. He felt that Ye Tian was looking down on him far too much. He laughed coldly and said, "Fine. In that case, co with . Let's find a place to settle this properly. But if you're scared, then don't bother coming."
"Hm?"
Sounds like a trap…
That was Ye Tian's first thought—he suspected the Buddha was trying to lure him away. However, he was mistaken. The Buddha's real goal wasn't to draw him away from sothing else, but to lead him straight into the array connected to the Book of Ti and Space—and once Ye Tian stepped into that, he'd be transported to another dinsion entirely.
Ye Tian followed him and soon arrived at a towering mountain.
"You brought here. What's the point of this?"
"Hmph, you scared?"
"I'm not afraid of you."
"Good—then you've already fallen into my trap."
"What? You're saying I walked into your trap?"
Ye Tian furrowed his brow. He truly couldn't guess what the Buddha was planning. Had he really been tricked?
Just then, as the Buddha Tathāgata burst into wild laughter, radiant beams of golden light suddenly erged all around them, completely enveloping Ye Tian.
Watching the dazzling lights dance around him, Ye Tian muttered, "This is… a formation?"
"That's right. And since you've figured that out, let spell it out for you: this is the formation from the Book of Ti and Space. Now that you've entered this place, you'll be transported to another spaceti—and once that happens, I'll never have to see your face again!"
"You—!"
"What? Surprised? You want to leave, don't you? But now that I've told you everything, do you still think you can escape? I won't let you leave."
"Fine. Since that's the case, then I have no choice but to fight my way out!"
Ye Tian attempted to break free, but no matter what he did, a powerful force held him firmly in place. He was completely unable to escape.
"Such terrifying power…"
"Indeed. It's ti for you to leave this world."
The brilliant lights converged into the shape of a five-pointed star, completely suppressing him. As the glow intensified, the surrounding space began to distort, as if endless rifts in the void were tearing open all around him.
Clearly, the formation from the Book of Ti and Space had activated.
A thousand thoughts raced through his mind—what could he do now? How could he escape?
But it was already too late. The space around him abruptly shifted, and in the next instant, he was pulled into the corridor of spaceti.
