As the giant bear approached, Teresa imdiately stepped forward, but this Great Druid ignored her and instead walked straight towards the two Black Devouring Dragons that had already grown wings, four claws, and a dragon horn on their forehead.
"Such a thing actually exists!"
As a Great Druid of the Natural Faction, Hughes naturally felt the difference between the lair of these two creatures and the surrounding land.
"What did you discover?"
As the Duke's daughter, being ignored by the Great Druid under her father's command did not irritate Teresa in the least. She remained respectful. Even the guards serving the Nobles turned a blind eye to the Great Druid's impoliteness.
After the Demon Nest descended, creating an era of darkness where demonic creatures ravaged the land, the earth beca barren and lifeless, no longer able to produce crops. Even in protected zones, the food grown was barely enough to prevent starvation. The resistance territory's sustainability was all thanks to the presence of this Great Druid.
Thanks to the Great Druid providing food, they had the strength to fight. Without it, even routine patrols would be difficult to maintain, and Order would quickly collapse.
Therefore, not even a Duke's daughter, nor the Duke himself, could afford to stand tall before this non-combatant Great Druid.

While they had tested it once, their examination could not compare to a Great Druid's precise inspection of the land's changes.
For a world gradually decaying under the Demon Tide, no news could be better. The land, which had been gradually eroded by Demonic Qi and faced inevitable Death, now had a glimr of hope for revival. Although it was just a small patch now, it was a sign of hope.
"Where did you find these creatures?"
Great Druid Hughes shifted his gaze to the two Black Devouring Dragons, surrounded by humans yet calm and composed, their round black eyes filled with amazent and curiosity.
"We didn't find them; it's a gift from our Lord."

Even the well-traveled Great Druid, witnessing the apocalypse, couldn't hide his surprise upon learning that these two creatures were sent by the Divine.
"The divine oracle told us these creatures are called Black Devouring Dragons. They prefer and only consu demon carcasses, and during the devouring process, they purify land polluted by the Abyss."

Teresa could not help but marvel. After knowing the extraordinary characteristic of these dragon-shaped creatures, her perspective changed—these were saviors, not re creatures.

No one continued to query about the birth of these Black Devouring Dragons. Almost everyone, including the Great Druid, took for granted it was the Divine's mighty power. In their understanding, the Divine could achieve whatever they wished, almost omnipotent. What's so special about finding two creatures that could counteract the Abyss's infiltration?
Thus, without further inquiry and the Church's minimal explanations, the credit for the ergence of the Black Devouring Dragons was naturally attributed to the Lord of Light.
These Black Devouring Dragons, capable of clearing demon corpses and purifying land, with their transcendent properties revealed, were naturally upheld by Jiede Supply Country, akin to the status of the Great Druid perpetually producing food.
As for the battlefield, there was fundantally no opportunity for the Black Devouring Dragons. No ruler could afford to treat them as consumable items unless they personally witnessed the Black Devouring Dragons releasing scale powder and producing Devouring Demon Fog while feeding.

Upon seeing black serpents tearing through demon hides, crawling out of flesh and blood, such a bloody and brutal scene, not only did it not incite fear among the present humans and clergy, but it filled them with intense excitent.
Through a period of cultivation and raising, the Campbell family had roughly understood so habits and characteristics of the Black Devouring Dragons. These seemingly fierce creatures showed little interest in species other than demons.

As the Church did not overly publicize or explain, in this preconception, the people of this world generally assud the Black Devouring Dragons were created by the Lord of Dawn.
The Church didn't deny it either. Even the Bishop who received the divine oracle believed this creature was a species created by the Lord of Light using divine power. Why provide additional explanation?
Though after the appearance and spread of the Devouring Demon Fog, there was no longer concern over the extinction of the Black Devouring Dragons, nor the need to protect their safety as ancestors.
Nevertheless, the two Black Devouring Dragons ticulously raised by the Campbell family still held irreplaceable roles. Due to their first-mover advantage, every ti these two Black Devouring Dragons fed and grew, the land purifying range was unmatched by the newly erged Black Devouring Dragon hatchlings.
As of today, the Black Devouring Dragon, whose growth had matured and body size rivaled that of adult Dragon Clan mbers, had beco the Campbell family's reliance for survival in the demon-infested land.
Their status had even surpassed the once heavily relied upon Great Druid because now, even without a Druid, the remaining populace could grow food on the land visited by the Black Devouring Dragons.
Originally, the Black Devouring Dragon was supposed to beco a symbol of the Campbell family. Unfortunately, due to the Black Devouring Dragons' reproductive characteristics, after understanding their role, surviving or resisting forces on this land unanimously expended various thods to acquire at least one Black Devouring Dragon hatchling.
Therefore, as the Campbell family raised their Black Devouring Dragons to adulthood, any force with a decent scale amidst demon-infested lands had acquired at least one Black Devouring Dragon, becoming a dragon-raising family.
As such, no family or force was qualified to treat the Black Devouring Dragon as a family emblem. This Dragon Clan, now showcasing its savior capabilities, was revered as Divine by so common, ignorant people.
Amid such passionate influence, the Black Devouring Dragon, initially only two in number, swiftly increased to several hundred due to human intervention and influence, racing towards a thousand.
Yet, none of this was the most important. The truly crucial part was that every newly acquiring Black Devouring Dragon faction went all-out in nurturing them. This led to the ergence of an Evolved Body of the Black Devouring Dragon within less than ten years.
