The mist was hazy, the water vapor hovered, and the tranquil, shimring water surface suddenly rippled with fragnted waves. A strangely shaped creature, resembling a long snake but with claws beneath its belly, burst from the water, its tiny sharp teeth clamping down on a silvery-scaled fish still desperately struggling.
As a wisp of crimson blood dispersed in the water, the silver fish vanished into the creature’s gaping maw, and the odd creature disappeared back beneath the surface, re-subrging into the depths.
"Not enough, too little!"
The strange little creature, resembling both a salamander and a four-legged lizard, yet different, was unsatisfied after swallowing the silver fish, which occupied nearly half its size. It continued hunting underwater for suitable prey, all while keeping an eye out for creatures larger than itself to avoid becoming prey.
"Odin!"
An invisible yet powerful resentnt emanated from the little creature. Inside its belly, the silver fish was breaking down into various nutrients, which were being distributed throughout its body, rapidly strengthening and growing its flesh, blood, and bones.
This was a monster only three days old, and yet the soul it contained was a terrifying existence over three centuries old, a split soul’s will.
"What a divine trap! I knew it; good things don’t co knocking on their own!"
Noah hunted while muttering under his breath.
He hadn’t anticipated that the Divine King Odin would employ such a personal thod to spread faith in the Space-Ti Realm. Unable to enter himself, he sent forth a will, descending a split soul.
Noah had thought this ancient god-king might have so unique thod, like sending a ssage in a bottle through ti and space for the natives to find, read, and then pray to them voluntarily to get their wishes fulfilled and thereby acquire faith.
But when Noah inquired, Odin insisted that such a thod of spreading faith was too random and carried too many uncertainties, leaving success entirely up to fate.
When Noah asked how to control his own fate, the Divine King suggested they both send forth a split soul’s will into the closed-off Space-Ti Realm, sothing the Space-Ti Wall wouldn’t reject.
They would reincarnate as natives, using local resources to grow, creating their legends to acquire faith, and then communicate with their true bodies to allow them to descend.
After considering, Noah agreed to such a proposal, as transferring only a split soul’s will ant the loss would be minor even if sothing went wrong.
The true body would not have to risk entering with unclear circumstances, which indeed was a very cautious approach. However, the split soul’s will was connected ntally to the true body, so whatever the split soul experienced, Noah would also have to experience.
This also ant that without any special blessings, undergoing random reincarnation might result in a particularly dismal start, experiencing a particularly poor scenario.
In the complete Material World, the number of wisdom species compared to all creatures are less than one or two percent. Being reincarnated into an intelligent race with the ability to think is a one-in-a-million chance.
Very unfortunately, after reincarnating as part of the Dragon Clan, Noah seed to have exhausted all his luck when he followed the Divine King for this split soul reincarnation, only to beco an unknown small watersnake.
Of course, starting as a species at the bottom of the food chain, being born smoothly requires no small amount of luck. However, upon birth, once Noah had a body capable of moving freely, he embarked on a path of wandering, eating, and indiscriminate killing.
His form as a watersnake was indeed quite weak, with an average adult individual just over a ter long. Yet, even though his split soul through the Space-Ti Wall was just a wisp, its essence was divinely high.
With such power, Noah easily allowed his watersnake form to break through racial blood barriers, undergoing a bloodline evolution in a short ti.
During this evolution, sharp fangs grew in Noah’s mouth, granting him biting power, and claws ford beneath his belly. Originally, four claws should have grown, with a pair of sharp horns on his forehead and a set of durable scales.
However, the nutrients obtained were not enough for such a comprehensive evolution, but undergoing a bloodline evolution within three days to transcend the previous racial bloodline was already quite successful.
Although his beginning was extrely poor, Noah was not dissatisfied with his performance post-start. Within three days, as a juvenile watersnake with no expectations for parental protection, he relied solely on himself to avoid becoming food for others, selecting the most suitable targets to swallow.
Noah was already preparing for a second evolution. Although snakes as ancient predators are not weak hunters with sufficient size, they cannot compare to powerful water dragons with four claws.
"You better not reincarnate into a wisdom race! If you beco a wisdom species, that’s one thing. But if you beco part of the ruling nobility, I’ll rember it for three thousand years!"
If it were only him, Noah wouldn’t complain about any dreadful start, much less foster any resentnt.
Noah would even view this as a unique life experience, imrsing himself wholeheartedly. However, he couldn’t help but think about the Divine King who ca with him, speculating on his starting scenario.
