"Your Highness, a group claiming to be the ’Radiant Shield’ paladins requests an audience with you!"

Noah slightly raised his head, hearing the voice of the little fairy reporting, he weakly waved a claw,

"Understood, let them co in!"

"Sifreya, how many paladin groups have wanted to see this month?"

"This is already the eighth group."

"Oh!"

The Golden Dragon actually knew very well, how could he possibly forget? These paladin groups, whose beliefs closely aligned with and even overlapped with those of the Golden Dragon, often beca the Golden Dragon’s support at nurous tis.

Paladins are a particularly special profession. They possess firm beliefs and a pursuit of supre goodness, are passionate about maintaining the stability of order, and will steadfastly engage in wars against evil.

In the most difficult tis, if you encounter a paladin, as long as it’s not an evil creature, you can basically trust him unconditionally, even if you haven’t t the person before.

By common sense, as the Golden Dragon, Noah shouldn’t reject paladins, but the problem is, these paladin groups coming to et him primarily co for insight, borrowing the transmission array is not their main purpose.

The reason nurous paladins gathered here is quite simple, it was due to Casius, his foster father, who single-handedly suppressed the Undead Calamity.

Though that Ancient Black Dragon and a group of legendary undead were all eradicated, there were still a mass of high-ranking undead and countless mid-to-low-level undead remaining, which, although unable to cross the barrier of the Valley of Flas, still posed a significant threat.

Therefore, many paladins who heard of the Holy Dragon Slayer’s deeds ca voluntarily, ready to assist the Augustus family in eradicating the remaining undead creatures, strangling this terrifying disaster underground, preventing it from threatening life on the surface.

And to reach the Valley of Flas, Elisium City is a must-pass place. Paladins need to use the transmission array, otherwise, they would need to traverse three hundred kiloters of barbaric wilderness.

However, once the paladins arrive in this city, just strolling around slightly would naturally raise the idea of visiting the Governor.

Because, for such a large-scale city, the presiding officer is surprisingly a Golden Dragon. Although co-governed with the Duke’s heir, the Son of Legend, its presence is completely negligible compared to the Golden Dragon, which is rely a young dragon.

Despite paladins traveling far and wide, seeing much and knowing a lot, and even so by chance having traveled to other material planes, even the most experienced paladin has never seen a scenario where a young dragon is governing.

Elisium isn’t so unknown village or small town, but the indisputable largest city on the border of the Aristoria Kingdom, capable of housing a million people, with a population multiplied living on the lands under its jurisdiction.

To have such a major city’s governance, with such vast lands and dense population, fall to a young dragon, though a Golden Dragon, still feels incredible.

Keep in mind, the land area and population size completely et the standards of a Duchy, just lacking independence, in fact, not far from it, just a declaration away.

"Hiss, is that the Holy Dragon? So small!"

"Is this really a young dragon? It looks like a juvenile dragon to !"

"Young dragon, juvenile dragon, is there a difference? Even if it were us humans, governing at this age is too outrageous!"

"The Augustus family has way too much trust in the Golden Dragon."

"It’s said to be the foster child of that Holy Dragon Slayer. If there weren’t clear reports that the legendary Dragon Slayer possessed so supre bloodline, I’d suspect this Golden Dragon was that legend’s illegitimate child!"

The paladin group granted an audience with Noah, upon setting foot in the hall, first noticed the Golden Dragon leading a group of fairies handling official duties.

The slender, winding Golden Dragon, only fourteen ters long, was coiled, on a high platform, bowing his head over docunts, simultaneously manipulating three quill pens, writing smoothly on sheepskin scrolls, issuing various directives, multitasking effortlessly.

Beside him, the little fairies used their slight magic power to transport already-approved docunts away, while delivering yet-to-be-processed docunts under the quill pens.

Additionally, there were three Great Fairies exhibiting an identical manner to the Golden Dragon, but in such a special Golden Dragon’s presence, their sense of existence was diminishingly trivial.

"No disrespect!"

The leading paladin cast a stern gaze at the whispering young followers behind him, imdiately silencing all disturbances.

Then, this weathered, story-filled paladin, stepped forward a few paces, looking at the Golden Dragon who had already turned his gaze upon him, clasped his chest with one hand, slightly bowed,

"Lord Noah, I am Bartlo Hains, the leader of Radiant Shield, I ask your pardon for the offense and impropriety of these rude juniors."

"It’s okay, I’m accustod to it, you’re not the first batch of paladins I have received, the vast majority are usually surprised by my authority.

But it’s no big deal, I am rely assisting the first heir of this territory in handling affairs, I am not the true governor."

Noah waved his dragon claw magnanimously, an all-too-familiar scene he had encountered countless tis.

The current situation he’s in indeed exceeds common sense and understanding, even paladins can’t help but mutter a few words.

"But you are not different from a real governor, all the decrees must go through your directives."

Bartlo couldn’t help but think to himself, though he didn’t speak out.

"If you wish to proceed to the Valley of Flas, you can directly head to the transmission hall, I’ve instructed that anyone who can prove their paladin identity may use the transmission array for free, without bearing any fees."

Noah’s attitude was extrely gentle, the commands he issued sounded sowhat contrary to the nature of dragon species.

Yet in reality, paladins operate on a voluntary basis, hence they fight evil without charging anyone any fees.

No matter how greedy a dragon species might be, Noah, having the justice-loving nature of a Golden Dragon pressing down on him, could never charge this justice-chasing group.

"Thank you for your generosity, if the opportunity arises, I wonder if you have ti, I would like to explore your works with you."

"’Noah’s Book’? Certainly."

The Golden Dragon readily agreed, he certainly wouldn’t refuse, in fact, if not for needing to maintain a bit of the dignity belonging to a Golden Dragon, he would indeed want to give every paladin a copy of ’Noah’s Book’.

The Silver Dragon promoting ’Noah’s Book’ everywhere had long made Noah experience its essence.

If these paladin groups attracted by his foster father, after resolving the Undead Calamity, moved on to spread across the continent, just like the Silver Dragon, promoting everywhere...

The picture was too beautiful, a bit hard to imagine.
