"What do you know? This is what love is!"

Noah looked at Terramus, who was swearing in front of him, his little mouth not very clean, and imdiately rebuked him.

"This is love? It’s just two fools!"

Terramus made no effort to hide his jealousy or his current agitation.

Because he didn’t have it, and he realized he couldn’t get it. Although he had five companions, none of them would pluck scales from their bodies for him.

Gemstone Dragon Clan’s scales, whether in ornantal value, economic value, or as transcendent items, are above other Dragon Clans. Such precious things, how could those companions be willing to give them to him?

Although he wouldn’t give his own scales to a companion, and certainly wouldn’t forcibly pluck them from his own body—how painful would that be—he too wanted such a gift that carried love!

"Love in its infancy is indeed clumsy. If it doesn’t have a hint of greenness and follows a well-trodden path, how could it be called love?"

Noah also saw through his son’s jealousy, as he too felt sowhat wistful. In retrospect, his companions so far hadn’t given him any substantial gifts; only Ophelia was a bit special.

But then again, as a Dragon Clan mber seeking another Dragon Clan companion, expecting the other to be generous and constantly giving valuable gifts is an unrealistic luxury, filled with naive and childish fantasies.

"Love? Father, do you have love?"

Terramus’s emotions were slightly agitated.

"What do you think?"

This question was really difficult for Noah to answer, or rather, he didn’t know how to answer. The feelings between him and his companions were not simply encapsulated by the word love; there were far too many other factors involved.

"If it’s the kind of annoying love my brother has, you definitely don’t have it. But I don’t think that’s love. They haven’t even established a formal companion relationship; they’re just enjoying ambiguity, like those filthy human nobles!"

At this mont, Terramus forgot all about brotherly respect; jealousy and envy blinded him, and he even viewed his brother with malicious speculation.

"How long have they been in contact? Isn’t that normal? It also took you considerable ti to find those companions, right? This isn’t sothing that happens overnight."

"I’m different from him!"

"Of course, you are different. When you approached those female dragons, it was mostly you taking the initiative. They didn’t show any initiative towards you, right?"

Seeing his increasingly noisy son, Noah stabbed him in the back, causing Terramus to fall silent for a long ti, speechless. Now, the only thing he could boast about regarding his companions was quantity; as for the rest, there was nothing more to say.

"Father, I misspoke. I should bless my older brother for finding such an excellent companion."

"That’s more like it."

Noah, seeing his child had cald down and started introspecting, nodded in satisfaction, then asked,

"You’ve seen your future sister-in-law already. What do you think of her?"

"Apart from clinging to my brother, there’s no other problem."

Terramus furrowed the scales on his brow, replying sowhat irritably to his father’s question.

"As long as there are no problems, that’s good."

"Father, if there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave first. There are still many affairs in my territory that remain unresolved."

As a Pure-blood Dragon Clan mber, Terramus didn’t want to recall his mixed-blood brother’s affair with another Six-winged Angel anymore, as it was too distressing and affected his mindset.

"Hmm, you may go now!"

Noah sensed his son’s emotions, and although there were still many things he wanted to ask, he let him go. After all, how much could he learn in just a few days?

"I’ll ask Ophelia instead!"

It was only natural to seek an understanding of what happened in Heaven from a companion who was already there. However, just as Noah reached out to the Angel, he saw an extrely cold face.

"Do you have ti now?"

Seeing the Angel’s deanor, Noah felt uneasy and cautiously asked.

"No!"

Ophelia cast a glance at the Golden Dragon opposite her,

"It seems you have nothing important, but I don’t have ti to chat with you!"

Bang!

Noah saw the falling fist, cutting off the communication directly.

"Such a big temper, indeed hard to please!"

A certain Golden Dragon understood well, muttering to himself before deciding,

"Wait a few more days, let the anger subside a bit, then ask again."

...

At this mont, the Dark Great Lord, full of sulk and depression, did not return to his territory in the Exotic Plane but went back to his Dark Underground Kingdom to vent.

"Terra? Why are you back?"

Seeing the Holy Dragon’s Son return to the Dragon Nest, the Yellow Jade Dragon Brigit was full of surprise.

"Delina, Seraphine, Valent, Camilla, where are they?"

His dragon eyes, shining like molten gold and radiating brilliant light, glanced around the Dragon Nest; he only saw Terramus asking about the whereabouts of the other companions.

"They went to patrol the territory."

Brigit looked sowhat perplexed at her husband. With her ntal power, she keenly sensed sothing amiss. She felt the suppressed anger within the Golden Dragon before her.

"Patrol the territory? What territory do they need to patrol? Even if they detect danger or find sothing amiss, what could they do? Such matters should be executed by those Shadow Guards!"
