"But rely a lost descendant from outside, Sorlon, what rit do you possess to dare endure such favor from your great-uncle?"

In his pri, still full of vigor, Alexander stood up, hands clasped behind his back, and walked over to a harp exquisitely carved with grass, vines, and forests. He reached out and gently plucked the strings.

Even when plucked by an uncouth person like Alexander, who knew nothing of music, a lodious and pleasant sound resonated, akin to a clear spring trickling under the moon, washing the soul and soothing the spirit with its divinity.

"Alas, are you so eager to have an outstanding progeny?"

As the harp’s lody echoed, a female voice filled with helplessness resounded,

"They pose no threat to you."

"Haven’t you made up your mind yet?"

Alexander furrowed his brow, looking at the female figure that appeared with the music, his tone filled with dissatisfaction.

This was an exceptionally tall elf, similar to a Silver Moon Elf, but even taller. However, she did not appear as a High Elf. She resembled a Wood Elf but possessed a nobility and elegance even High Elves found hard to match.

Her skin was white, exuding a jade-like luster; her eyebrows and eyes were slender like crescent moons, and her deep green gemstone-like eyes glittered slightly. Her eyelashes were thick and slightly curled, with a slight upward tilt at the corners, and her full pale pink lips bore a faint smile. Her deanor was gentle yet not without authority.

"As a mortal, you lack the necessary respect for the Divine."

However, at this mont, the woman who looked like a Wood Elf but was more noble and sacred than a High Elf showed a trace of thin anger on her face. Her gaze fell upon the Dragon-man Monarch, and her erald-like eyes glowed with a golden radiance. The Divine’s majesty descended overwhelmingly,

"Hasn’t Serena taught you your insignificance yet?"

"You are indeed Divine, but you are too timid, too conservative. What are you afraid of? Or do you think I’m unworthy to be your companion?"

Alexander, who had been defeated miserably against the avatar of the War God, showed no fear of such Divine power. On the contrary, he took a step forward, his aggressive posture made the Goddess accompanying the music retreat slightly.

"Be my wife and bear children for . I will build a temple dedicated to you in my realm, to spread your faith, allowing you to enter a stronger Divine Position Domain. Why are you hesitating? Whom are you considering? Your Main God?"

Seeing the posture of the Goddess before him, Alexander grew even more confident.

Even though he was almost powerless against the Divine avatar, the Goddess before him couldn’t make him feel awe, because she was the God of Art and Music of the Elf Clan, Lidisha, a Divine with only weak Divine Power.

Of course, even the weakest Divine was a True God, not a being a mortal could offend casually.

"Alexander, you are indeed a rare Monarch in the secular world, but with your status, you are not qualified to beco my companion in the secular world. I’ve been observing and examining you, but you haven’t satisfied !"

"Satisfied? You can get a promotion from to weak Divine Power, and even to dium Divine Power. Isn’t that enough? What more do you want? Do you want to please you?"

Alexander furrowed his brow. He dared to demand from the Divine because he believed he had enough capital.

Yet, even so weak and marginalized as a decorative Goddess in the Elf God System, she hesitated over the temptation he offered, unable to decide quickly.

"Why not? Do you also want to please you? You are asking from , hoping I would produce an excellent progeny for you, so you should be the one to give and offer, shouldn’t you?"

Lidisha asked calmly in return.

"What exactly do you still want?"

Alexander asked in confusion.

"I need your heartfelt admiration and affection for . I demand that you, after being with , shall have no other concubines and shall not engage with any other won."

Hearing the Goddess’s demand, Alexander almost furrowed his eyebrows together, for he heard concepts beyond his knowledge and understanding.

Admiration? Affection?

What is that?

What’s the use of that?

Alexander, who already had hundreds of descendants, couldn’t comprehend this, as no female had made such a request before him. Most females would have eagerly agreed to all his demands just to please him once they heard his expressions of admiration and affection.

"Of course, I like you. If I didn’t admire you, why would I be seeking you?"

Though it was a concept beyond his understanding, how could the grand Golden Dragon Lord yield?

"Alexander, the only reason you’re seeking is that I am the weakest in position and power within the Elf God System."

Such words could not deceive a Goddess. Though she was indeed a decorative existence within the Elf God System, it was precisely for this reason that she understood the human heart and nature more thoroughly.

"No, because apart from Serena, you are the only Goddess in the Elf God System."

Alexander dismissed the Elf Goddess’s assumption, giving the real reason, yet this left the Divine speechless. For a mont, they both fell into silence without any words.

"If there were other Goddesses to choose from, would you still choose ?"

"I would still choose you."
