Clang~

As the first ray of morning sun fell on the highest point of the Cloud Sea Secret Realm, the soulful and rich, heavy bell sound had already spread to every Cloud Island, startling every Dragon from their dreams.

Clang~

The second bell rang, and the young hatchlings squinted their eyes open, swiftly regaining their clarity. Even with eyes shut, sleeping was now out of the question, forcing them to wake up.

Clang~

With the third bell, even the laziest Dragon felt invigorated, their Dragon Blood boiling, eager to get moving.

Following the three bell sounds, soothing and serene music that calms and settles the mind imdiately echoed throughout the Cloud Sea Secret Realm. To the enchanting tunes, a masterpiece of a grandmaster, all the hatchlings reluctantly left their Dragon Nest to head for the ditation Room.

No matter how lodious or captivating the music, even if it’s the lifeti masterpiece of a grandmaster, once it becos the alert bell for forced morning classes, it’ll be deeply detested, Dragons included.

"Every day it’s the call of the tis; can’t we change the song?"

A little Silver Dragon flapped its wings heading towards the ditation Room, listened to the musical notes surrounding her, and showed intense disgust.

"No matter what song it is, as long as it’s played when you’ve just woken up, you’ll find it sickening."

Beside her, a Silver Dragon of similar stature responded,

"It’s not the song you hate, but the morning ditation class."

"Sigh, indeed. Why does the Dragon Clan have morning classes? Especially ditation ones, it’s utterly unreasonable!"

"Not only do we have morning classes, but in a few years, we’ll have evening self-study sessions. How about that? Excited?"

A little Golden Dragon overhearing the Silver Dragon’s complaint chid in mischievously.

"What’s there to be excited about? This schedule is completely unreasonable."

i Lin loudly complained,

"This curriculum is clearly designed for the Short-lived Species; why apply it to the Dragon Clan?"

"Apparently, this schedule was personally devised by the Headmaster. If you have opinions about it, you’re welco to write to the Headmaster’s office to complain."

The little Golden Dragon offered a suggestion filled with ill intentions.

"Do I look foolish to you?"

i Lin glanced sideways at the naughty youngster beside her,

"Complaining to the Headmaster about his own curriculum, it’s an outrageously stupid idea."

"You could send an anonymous letter."

"Then you go ahead and send one!"

i Lin huffed coldly.

"I’m not doing such aningless things; I want to beco a Dragon strong enough to set school rules. By then, I’ll abolish all unreasonable systems."

The little Golden Dragon proudly raised his head, declaring his life’s ambitions.

"Modify school rules? Do you know how you would even go about modifying them?"

i Lin asked, sowhat surprised.

"Of course, you have to beco a Legend Ancient Dragon. No, even that wouldn’t be enough; you’d have to beco at least a near-saint Ancient Dragon to challenge the rules set by the Headmaster."

The little Golden Dragon lowered his voice, sounding rather mystical yet boastful,

"I want to beco such a Dragon Clan!"

"But if you already have such power, what’s the point of modifying curriculums and school rules?"

Nearby, Murphy couldn’t help but retort.

"Because the current courses are just too terrible; we, excellent young Dragon Clans, should strive for a better future for the next generation of Dragon Clans. It’s our historical mission and duty."

The little Golden Dragon stood tall, speaking with a firm and vigorous tone.

"Isn’t that what the teacher says in history class? You’re just plagiarizing."

"What plagiarism? It’s called applying what one has learned; this shows I’ve rembered what the teacher taught."

"But you haven’t changed a word; you’re simply repeating it verbatim."

"But I’m still a student; how can a student’s tasks be called repetition? It’s recitation!"

"You like boasting too much; it will take at least a millennium for you to beco an Ancient Dragon, not to ntion challenging the Headmaster or altering school rules. It’s simply impossible."

i Lin glanced at the little Golden Dragon, brutally piercing through the little Golden Dragon’s dreams with the sword of reality,

"Brother, let’s go; we shouldn’t stick with him."

"Hey, how am I boasting? The Headmaster won’t remain Headmaster forever; I could just inherit the position and not need to challenge him! Why even challenge the Headmaster?"

The little Golden Dragon protested fiercely.

Nowadays, in the Cloud Sea Secret Realm, even the youngest hatchling knows their Headmaster is currently the strongest Dragon Clan in the world.

Though it’s unclear where this notion originated, most Ancient Dragons in the academy agree with this perspective, forming a consensus that has beco common knowledge.

Thus, any suggestion of challenging the Headmaster by anyone, even by the young hatchlings striving for such a goal, wouldn’t be seen as admirable bravery but as sheer folly.

"Scadilo!"

However, the little Silver Dragon i Lin already disregarded the little Golden Dragon behind her and spotted a figure among the many swirling Dragon shadows, a figure notably different and extraordinary, and while enthusiastically calling, pulled her brother along to approach.

"i Lin, Murphy, good morning!"

Standing on ice blossoms under her feet, gliding through the sky swiftly as any soaring young dragon, the little girl politely greeted the two Silver Dragons approaching.

"I envy you, Scadilo."

Seeing the girl’s face glowing like the colorful buds of early spring, rlin couldn’t help but sigh.
