"Have you repented?"
At this mont, Noah’s dragon body was shrouded in a layer of golden light, yet outside of this light, pitch-black flas, as if from the Purgatory Abyss, were burning.
Divinity and malice coexisted within his body, captivating the soul, and the people he was staring at were completely dumbfounded, frozen on the spot.
Those who just monts ago were poised and confident, now trembled, their faces pale, drained of color, so unable to even hold their pipes steadily, and their breaths beca rapid.
The composure honed in their daily lives was now utterly useless. Even those who prided themselves on deep insight were at a loss.
No one had anticipated that the Holy Dragon depicted on the do would co to life. No one had experienced such an event, even if they were aware, it was only in the legends of Divine Descent.
Who would have thought they could witness a Divine Descent, and moreover, the target of the descent was them, sothing so incredible they couldn’t have dread it.
"I..."
Being gazed at by a Giant Dragon over twenty ters long, surrounded by raging Black Fla, was an imnse challenge for a child just over ten years old.
Even if he could be so unruly as to slaughter classmates, dismber them, and bury them, he could still chat and laugh in court with friends and parents about where to eat later.
But that didn’t an he could remain calm under the gaze of the justice-loving Holy Dragon; the boy’s legs trembled to the point of nearly collapsing, the stench of urine mingling with his gradually dampening trousers wafted up.
However, no one cared about his current embarrassnt, nor did Noah. He rely looked at the boy before him whose soul was filled with sin and asked again,
"Have you repented?"
"I have repented!"
Faced with the inquiry of the Holy Dragon, the child, shaking like a leaf, gritted his teeth and replied, the remaining sanity telling him what he ought to say.
"Lies!"
No one can lie before the Golden Dragon, let alone a villain whose hands are soaked in the blood of innocents.
"You have never repented and are very pleased, proud of killing without consequence, your soul filled with sin. The foolish judge took bribes and didn’t punish you, so I shall pass judgnt, your path leads to Hell!"
As the punitive dragon present gave its judgnt, the black fire that rely surrounded the Holy Dragon’s body also ignited this boy of only fifteen years.
Ah!!!
A scream far more piercing than the judge’s just now rang out. Under the burning of black fire, the child who was still smilingly discussing where to eat with his parents upon hearing the verdict couldn’t help but claw desperately at his own flesh.
Amidst the black fire, his skin beca extraordinarily fragile, like rotten mud, casually scratched, leaving it broken open, then turning into nothingness and ashes under the Black Fla.
Before long, the boy turned into a skeleton surrounded by black fire, yet even though only the bones remained, he continued to scream and wail, a pain emanating from the depths of his soul.
The black fire was tornting his soul, and this fla was kindled by Noah, charged with malevolent intent and intense desire of faith.
At this mont, what Noah displayed was the other side of the Power of Faith, pure Power of Faith can revive a dying girl, but these desire-laden faith impurities can make one feel as if they are falling into Hell, or even far worse pain.
Even without a body, these toxic fires of faith will cling to the soul, relentlessly, until they burn the soul to ashes.
Initially, Noah thought of this Power of Faith as garbage; now he realized it wasn’t, indeed having many uses.
Seeing the black fire skeleton twisted in agony and screaming, even the boy’s biological parents couldn’t help but take a few steps back in horror, their eyes filled with fear as they looked at Noah.
"Have you repented?"
Amidst the fearful gazes cast at him, feeling so emotional power accumulating madly, Noah did not care but instead looked toward the second trembling boy trying to escape outside, the dragon’s gaze fixing him, and the seemingly gentle inquiry laced with chilling intent.
"I, I have not."
The second boy caught in Noah’s gaze spoke with a sobbing voice, his weak deanor filled with pleading and helplessness, evoking sympathy.
"No remorse for murder, seeds of sin, must be exterminated!"
The Black Fla ignited again, and the agonizing cries overlapped with the wailing of the previously burned skeleton, causing even those knowing it wasn’t their business to shiver uncontrollably.
"Holy Dragon Lord, he is still just a child, please give him a chance to repent."
When Noah’s gaze turned to the third boy, his mother, a woman with ticulous makeup and exquisite clothing, fell to her knees, repeatedly bowing to Noah, her makeup sared by the constant flowing tears, looking both ridiculous and pitiful,
"I promise he will never make the sa mistakes again, I will make him a good person."
"Holy Dragon Lord, please give a chance, I genuinely repent, I truly didn’t an it, we didn’t intend to kill him."
