"Holy Dragon!"
Wearing a plain white robe, the Priest stood at the edge of the square, watching the Holy Dragon poised to take flight, his gaze filled with scrutiny.
The girl he had just seen undoubtedly had a problem. A girl born with a heart defect, overnight, had this defect repaired and possessed an even stronger heart.
Without a doubt, so presence must have favored this girl, bestowing her with a blessing.
However, he couldn’t understand what kind of presence would grant such favor to such an ordinary and unremarkable girl. Although her experiences were indeed sympathetic, what could she possibly offer? It simply wasn’t worth it.
Aside from the Holy Dragon, only it would bestow such a blessing upon a mortal. Yet he could confirm that the Golden Dragon had not descended to Delvalle. So, by what ans was this done?
"Pseudo-God!"
Bain’s eyes beca sharp in an instant. So things not even a Legendary Mage could achieve; only the ignorant Transcendents who attempted to trample into the domain of the Divine, seeking immortality, could achieve, such as disregarding the distance of ti and space to confer blessings.
Believing he had uncovered so truth, the Holy Dragon Statue created by the top master sculptor appeared different in his eyes.
He felt as if the statue might co to life. It was no longer an artifact representing so kind of worship, but a blasphemous image of a Pseudo-God.
"This matter must be reported to the Bishop!"
Although as a True God Priest, upon seeing such a blasphemous object, he should destroy it, considering the current position and environnt, as a humble Priest, it was better to report and leave the headache to the higher-ups.
"My territory’s relief policy is still not perfect!"
Instead of being smug about his first consciousness projection and the creation of a devout follower through Word Spirit, Noah was alerted about his governance.
Even though he thought he was doing well, in reality, he was standing too high up to witness the hardships and struggles at the bottom.
Even those fairies serving him only wanted to show him their best side, not present the ssy matters at the bottom to him.
Like Connie, who received so care and upbringing but lived in extre hardship, probably even the fairies around him didn’t know of her existence.
She was too sensible, so sensible it was heart-wrenching. She wasn’t being pretentious; she really didn’t want to trouble or beco a burden to anyone.
She had little negative emotion in her heart. Such a person, even if she one day collapsed on the street due to a congenital defect, would carry little grievance in her heart.
Even Noah’s Golden Tree would receive little feedback, making Noah unable to sense her existence. How many more children like her were there in his territory?
Noah didn’t know, but he wanted to try to solve it.
As for the cost needed to save such a child, it was almost nothing for Noah, because when Noah reshaped Connie’s heart, he used the Power of Faith she contributed through her daily devout prayers.
It was the Power of Faith of extrely high quality, with almost no impurities, and because of this, she gained a remarkably strong heart. In a way, she saved herself.
"Let see what other sufferings the people have."
Noah projected his consciousness into a farther beacon of faith. This ti, the experience was more distressing for Noah because it was not an independent statue but a painting depicted on the do, turning him into a dragon within the painting.
Even so, Noah retained awareness of his surroundings. At this mont, his consciousness arrived at an old courtroom facility, where a case was being tried below, every detail in full view.
This was a grueso dismbernt case that was inconvenient to disclose to the public. The nature of this case was extrely vile, and Noah’s consciousness learned about the details by reviewing the case files.
The perpetrator had long bullied the victim and recently subjected them to seven hours of cruel torture before killing them, dismbering the body rudely, and hastily burying it.
Because the perpetrator did not intend to commit murder preditatedly and was not experienced in hiding the body post-murder, the case was quickly solved after the victim’s family reported it.
The victim’s dismbered remains were quickly found, and the perpetrator swiftly captured. The local court started the trial soon, but a final verdict was unable to be reached for a long ti.
Because the victim and the perpetrator belonged to different social classes with a significant status gap, the perpetrator was not alone but a group, each having parents with fairly decent status, with one even having a blood relation with local Nobles.
In contrast, the long-term bullied, ultimately tortured and dismbered victim was a boy whose parents were rely local farrs, having no power or influence and lacking any background.
Hence, the trial result of this case was full of unknowns and uncertainty.
According to the basic consensus of murderer pays with life, all those involved in the bullying and dismbernt of the victim should be punished, sentenced to execution by hanging for this category of capital cri.
