"What unexpected event?"

"His appearance exceeded my expectations; I thought what would be born was a dragon!"

"This little guy doesn’t count as a dragon? Look at his wings, you only have one pair, yet he has as many as three pairs!"

Selena couldn’t help herself and reached out to gently touch the wings of Iliad, who was curled up and wrapped in those wings.

Of course, they weren’t purely wings; their form was very similar to Noah’s. Golden Dragon Scales covered the wing roots and bones, and as the scales gradually grew downwards, they transitioned into blade-shaped feathers.

"This is different."

Noah argued with his adoptive mother, although from the bloodline, Iliad was indeed a very special Angel Half-Dragon, there was such a high difference in bloodline with Ophelia’s.

Logically, his bloodline should have absolute dominance, so Iliad should primarily take on a dragon form upon birth. However, the reality was that Iliad still predominantly maintained an angel form.

"Stop arguing, look quickly!"

While Noah and Selena were arguing about whether Iliad was a dragon or an angel, Gwen’s voice rang out tily. Then, the eyes of the two and the dragon focused on the sleeping little one.

They saw the well-fed little one, at that mont, glowing with a mystical light, and enveloped by this light, his originally handso and adorable round face began to undergo a dramatic change.

Dragon scales erged from his face, interconnecting with each other, while the shape of his skull was also changing, with his jaw extending and his nose bridge rising... a dragon’s head adorned with crown-like horns appeared under the watchful eyes of the three.

The transformation wasn’t limited to his head; as his skull morphed, his body also underwent an intense transformation, becoming more elongated with a serpentine grace.

A Golden Dragon with six wings appeared in Noah’s chamber, falling into the sight of the two Legendary Mages, making their eyes gleam with delight.

"Noah, are you satisfied now?"

At this mont, the only thing that hadn’t changed about Iliad was the six wings on his back.

"Satisfied!"

Seeing the golden dragon before him, identical in form to himself except for the Dragon Wings and Dragon Horns, Noah couldn’t help but nod repeatedly, finally feeling it was right.

Though it’s worth ntioning, even though Iliad had more Dragon Wings, he only had four Dragon Horns, two less than Noah’s, including a crucial pair. Despite this, the dragon bloodline inherited from Noah was enough to make him dominant among the Dragon Clan.

"Unconsciously switching forms in sleep? Interesting. This must be his true form; I’ve never seen such a mixed blood before."

Selena circled in the air, flying around Iliad repeatedly before decisively asking Noah,

"By the way, Noah, does this little one have a nanny? How about ? I have extensive childcare experience."

"There’s already a very competent nanny; I don’t think he needs two nannies looking after him at the sa ti."

Noah’s eyes turned to Gwen.

"Her? She’s not suitable; she doesn’t have ti."

Selena’s critical gaze fell on her granddaughter, then she showed a disdainful expression.

"Why don’t I have ti?"

Gwendolin looked bewildered, as she had no idea she didn’t have ti.

"Haven’t you already beco a Legendary Mage?"

"Yes!"

"Then what are you doing staying here? Go back to the Star Tower, have you forgotten the goals you set for yourself when you were young?"

"Of course, I haven’t forgotten, but with my current strength? How could I compete to beco the Master of the Stars!"

Gwen argued, feeling dissatisfied, as she was currently in a state of having nothing. Although both her grandmother and Dragon Dad provided her with so equipnt, for a Legendary Mage, it was far from enough, let alone competing with other Legendary Mages for the position of Tower Master.

"Look at you, so unmotivated. If you don’t try, how do you know you can’t do it?

Look at your brother; he’s been King Atlas for decades. Your nephew is soon to beco the Undying King, and your niece is about to overshadow the Elf Queen.

And look at yourself, now you don’t even have the courage to go back and compete for the Tower Master, does that make sense? You’ve let down!"

Under Selena’s series of interrogations, Gwendolin’s spirit quickly wilted like a deflated little hen, as she avoided eye contact and dared not confront her grandmother.

Because in terms of the achievents made by the main family mbers, she, as an aunt, had already been surpassed by her nephews and nieces, which indeed seed quite unreasonable in comparison.

"Gwen becoming the Tower Master is just a matter of ti, isn’t it?"

Seeing his adoptive mother contend for custody rights over his hatchling, even using strategic persuasion, Noah couldn’t help but advise.

"What ’just a matter of ti’? With her current complacency upon reaching Legendary status, she will never beco the Master of the Stars in her lifeti."

Selena’s words were sharp.

Although her purpose was quite clear, Gwen was indeed provoked, as she had been accurately pointed out that she had indeed slacked off considerably after reaching Legendary status. She no longer felt the urgency she did before, nor the pressure of struggling to break through to the next realm, acting according to her whims.

"Dragon Dad, sorry, I probably won’t have ti to continue taking care of Iliad in the future."

Gwen evidently couldn’t compete with her grandmother and chose to withdraw, as she resolved to settle her mind and concentrate on her cultivation to make herself sufficiently competitive.

"Go ahead!"

Regarding Gwen’s voluntary withdrawal, Noah refrained from persuading her further. As for his adoptive mother, although the Golden Dragon agreed to let her help care for his hatchling, due caution was necessary.

Noah believed Selena wouldn’t do anything excessive, but small actions undoubtedly wouldn’t be few, as he knew her too well.

However, at this mont, Iliad was very much like the Dragon Clan hatchlings, only eating and sleeping, with very little awake ti, so Selena rely ca occasionally to play.

"Ti flies so fast, counting my age, I’m almost 120 years old."

When Iliad turned one year old, Noah suddenly snapped back to reality and calculated his age, suddenly realizing it, then couldn’t help but exclaim,

"But I am still very young."

years old, in the Dragon Clan, is just entering adulthood, and for Noah, it’s rely the beginning of youth.

Ten years, for Noah, was but a fleeting mont, but for a world dominated by short-lived species, enough drastic changes could occur.

The most drastic change happening on Xilantia Continent today was the revolutionary alteration within the Elf Court’s political landscape.

The previous Elf Court, though nominally a monarchy, was actually a triarchy of the Royal Family-supported Elf Queen, the Noble Council consisting of various clan elders, and the temple priests.

In na, the Elf Queen held the highest ruling power, but if she issued blind orders, they could easily be vetoed. To do anything, she needed to consult with the elders and priests, but that’s all changed now.

The Elf Court has slowly transitioned from a pseudo-monarchy into a true monarchy, with military, political, and religious power concentrated in one person’s hands.

Incredibly, this person wasn’t the Elf Queen still sitting on the throne, but an outsider whose bloodline wasn’t pure.

This was sothing that had never happened in the millennia since the founding of the Elf Court, but it has now occurred, completely altering the internal power structure of the Elf Court.
