But it was just such a group of second and third generations of utmost nobility gathered together, and Wayne, a guy who seed to have no background, brutally beat them, with only Parvati narrowly escaping.
This wasn’t about how many forces he offended, but that he was exposed to the sights of too many forces. The power and realm he demonstrated had already shattered the common sense and cognition of the secular world.
As his own aunt, Gwendolin was tempted to uncover the secrets of her nephew, let alone these inherently greedy forces?
Being able to break through into the Extre Intent before coming of age, with a secret seemingly free of any side effects—who wouldn’t want it? Even if it ant plunging into Purgatory and becoming a Devil, so what? True Nobles wouldn’t care about such things.
As long as they can obtain trendous power and ensure the family’s transmission and prosperity, Nobles can do anything; they have very low limits, or rather no bottom line at all.
The typical example would be the Warlock Family with inherited bloodlines—simply unsightly.
If the bloodline heritage genealogy of such families, along with their blood relationships, were described in detail, turned into a book, and appeared on the market, it would surely be classified as a Forbidden Book.
"This lad is not much weaker than I am now, so what can I help him with? What if he is targeted by a Legend?"
"Naturally, there is ."
That’s what was said, but Wayne, who beca famous with one battle and shook the nation as the Hell Star, did not encounter any deliberate targeting by Legends in the next half year.
Legends aren’t foolish; they can easily investigate and find out that this Hell Star has a Great Fairy by his side who is adept at all sorts of sches.
What do Fairies represent? Who in the Atlas Kingdom doesn’t know? They are the King’s capable assistants, and almost every Fairy appearing in human civilization is an extension of the King’s will.
Rare are the exceptions.
Before the true identity of the Great Fairy by Wayne’s side was confird, great Nobles and Legendary Families might test and place bets, but those lofty Legends would never easily take action.
"Great Lord Noah!"
The mont Gwen’s silhouette disappeared, a Dragon approached again.
"Do you have matters to discuss with ? Are you here to make up for the tax you recently evaded?"
Noah expressed himself very kindly to the suddenly arriving Silver Dragon, but his words sounded like the sharpest sword to the Silver Dragon across from him, revealing a wounded expression.
"Give a little more ti; I recently built a new palace and castle, and per your suggestion, I constructed an Underground City, so I’m really short of funds to compensate you."
Silver Dragon Annabelle smiled awkwardly. Although she was older, due to her current identity, status, strength, and other private reasons, she lacked confidence.
The primary reason was that, as a subordinate Lord, she fiddled with the taxes that should have been collected by the higher-ranking Lord. It wasn’t a big deal, but unfortunately, her mischief was uncovered.
"Building the Underground City was my suggestion for developing your territory; that’s a reason. But constructing palaces and castles for enjoynt has nothing to do with , does it?"
Noah displayed a puzzled look, truly not understanding how this Silver Dragon, standing before him, could boldly use that as an excuse for delay.
"How does it not relate? These residencies are prepared for you!"
"Prepared for ? I don’t recall giving any such instructions."
"You are the Great Lord, aren’t you? You need to patrol my territory, don’t you? While patrolling, wouldn’t you need residences?"
"Residences prepared for ?"
Amusent glimred in Noah’s eyes,
"Hah, what a far-fetched explanation, but let’s say you pass this ti. So, what do you want from ?"
Noah chose not to pursue such trivial matters against the Silver Dragon. Among the Dragon Lords under his command, besides a few who were adept at generating wealth, the majority had budget deficits in their territory’s finances.
After all, territories primarily generating inco through agriculture wouldn’t have much fiscal surplus, giving ambitious and eager Dragon Lords room to experint without incurring losses—unsurprising.
No wonder so would attempt to fiddle with taxes, yet their actions were discovered. Noah neither tolerated nor excused such behavior. Therefore, all those Dragons obediently signed IOUs.
However, Noah did not exert excessive pressure; he allowed these individuals to defer their tax submissions on one hand, and on the other, he provided suggestions for developing their land, such as constructing an Underground City.
By attracting Adventurers and periodically allowing so lucky ones to find treasures in the Underground, the economy could be stimulated, thereby promoting the production and economic cycle of the territory.
This asure indeed led several Dragons’ territories to gradually beco prosperous. After all, Dragons and Underground—these two factors combined are inherently attractive to Adventurers.
"Are these three young ones the individuals you wish to cultivate?"
The Silver Dragon, transford into a young maiden, made a gentle gesture, and imdiately three extrely disheveled and unfortunate individuals appeared before Noah.
"The direct bloodline of Augustus, what do you think?"
Noah rely glanced at the three unlucky individuals wandering in the maze, his tone lightly inquiring.
"Indeed, since they are the ones the Great Lord wants to cultivate, I shall entertain them well."
The Silver Dragon smiled cheerfully,
"Would the Great Lord like to co and have a look? I have prepared quite a spectacular program for them."
"To view it in the palace you built for ?"
Noah’s eyes revealed a trace of amusent.
"Of course."
The Golden Dragon nodded insightfully, thinking for a mont before agreeing,
"In that case, I’ll co and take a look."
"I surely won’t disappoint the Great Lord; I’ll go and make preparations now."
Seeing Noah agree, the Silver Dragon maiden’s face imdiately bead with joy.
"Tsk!"
Noah gazed towards the direction of the Silver Dragon’s realm, his thoughts moving with him, and the broad, luminous Heavenly Wings unfurled. The Giant Dragon ascended from the grand Mage City, majestic and sacred, its dragon form magnificent and splendid like a mountain, gliding elegantly across the heavens, its wings gently flapping, covering dozens of kiloters in a span.
Before long, the Silver Dragon’s domain ca into view—a city initially appearing inconspicuous, but upon closer inspection revealed a white castle akin to a peak towering in the city’s center. It was modeled after Mage City, yet with different magical architecture.
Extravagance!
At first sight of this castle, Noah thought of such terms, for the structure was designed entirely to match the Dragon Clan’s size and aesthetics, allowing even him to enter freely.
However, such expenditure is considered normal for the Dragon Clan; when they possess sufficient power, they wouldn’t let themselves suffer.
"Your Highness Noah!"
As the Golden Dragon descended from the sky amidst vast clouds, the Favored of the Silver Dragon all knelt respectfully on either side.
"Where is your Lord?"
"Miss Anna is adorning herself; she instructed that if Your Highness arrived first, you’re invited to the Observatory!"
An Aophis servant answered Noah’s inquiry, it was a sacred creature from Heaven.
"Hmm, lead the way!"
Noah glanced at the dog-headed Angel, instructing.
The so-called Observatory was located in the uppermost part of the palace, with its most exquisite feature being a pool constructed within, with sparkling luminescence akin to stars.
"A nice concept!"
Admiring the pool, Noah soaked comfortably in it, having only his head above water and resting on a matching jade balcony crafted especially for him.
Warmth enveloped his entire body, and Noah closed his eyes in comfort, drifting between wakefulness and slumber as a scent wafted to his nose.
The fragrance was alluring as if floral and musky. Turning, Noah saw a silver-haired maiden, draped in a thin veil, seated beside his dragon form.
She was stunning in beauty, her skin pristine and delicate, seemingly radiating a pearlescent radiance. Beneath her long, thick eyelashes, her brilliant silver eyes appeared to ripple, bewitching and lovely.
Noah was slightly taken aback as this Silver Dragon maiden, whom he’d seen countless tis before, now possessed a breathtaking beauty anew in his eyes.
"Great Lord, what are you gazing at?"
"Your preparations appear a bit overly lavish."
Noah couldn’t help but admire; perfu designed to enhance Dragon Species’ allure wasn’t easy to concoct,
"But have you considered that I might not be able to give you everything you desire?"
"You’ve given more than plenty."
The girl laughed lightly,
"Perhaps you think too greedy?"
