"What a pity!"

Watching Tidel putting on the Monarch Crown, Noah sighed with a bit of regret.

The crown was designed under his lead, with significant participation influenced by the Flat Heaven Crown in his mory. The attire referred to the Twelve Emblems, with certain modifications based on the world’s customs.

However, unlike all previous monarchs, especially that sowhat laughable ring, Noah never quite liked it, as the crown that looked like a ring showed no kingly dignity.

"Pity about what?"

Seeing Noah, who seed sorrowful, on the Holy Dragon’s tail and swinging her slender legs, the young girl curiously inquired.

"Tidel originally wanted to crown him, but I refused."

"Why refuse?"

Gwen asked, sowhat puzzled.

"Because if I agreed and crowned Tidel at this ceremony, then every king succeeding Tidel would seek for their coronation, and I would beco the legitimate symbol of the Atlas throne!"

Noah explained his reasons.

"Isn’t that a good thing?"

Gwendolin still couldn’t understand why he refused.

"I eliminated the influence of the divine right on royal authority; I cannot replace divine right!"

Noah shook his head. He couldn’t let the divine right be replaced by the dragon-granted right. Although it would be beneficial for him, under such pressure, rebellious kings would inevitably erge.

Not to ntion potential hidden dangers in the future, even now, if the royal crown were to be granted by others, how could such a king be called king? How could they be worthy of being called king?

Moreover, he’s already very conspicuous now. With a near-saintly legendary ascending the throne, asking him to wear the crown would be too ostentatious. Noah felt he needed to be more low-key.

"I see!"

Gwen nodded thoughtfully, but in fact, she was still very confused and couldn’t comprehend Noah’s choice.

If she were in Noah’s position, she would definitely agree; it was such a good opportunity.

"I declare that the Atlas Kingdom is founded from today, and I, Tidel Augustus, will beco the Kingdom’s first monarch.

From now on, I will dedicate my life and honor to defending the Kingdom against all threats.

Whether against invaders from other worlds or internal insurgents, I will stand forth and personally lead the army until my last breath.

I promise to govern the Atlas Kingdom justly, following the wisdom of the All Saints, making the law a shield for the innocent, and chains for criminals and greedy nobles...

I swear to fight for the nation until death!"

Alongside Tidel’s official ascension and declaration, the vast kingdom spanning 19,000 kiloters across the Eastern Territory, with its widest point reaching 13,000 kiloters, was announced as established.

Although this kingdom occupies less than one-fifth of the Eastern Continent of Xilantia, it includes more than half of the known civilized regions of the Eastern Territory, including King Tidel himself, making this kingdom encompass twenty-two legends.

This is a vast kingdom unprecedented in the history of the Eastern Territory over thousands of years, no wonder other forces on the continent are very sensitive to it.

Even though this land had once been invaded by Hell, when the vast majority of the Eastern Territory’s strength is united, even the most distant West Desert must take it seriously.

For such powerful strength, is capable of a continent-wide invasion, not only across the continent but also qualifies the Atlas Kingdom’s visible strength for a Plane War, implying this kingdom already qualifies for Different Plane colonization.

Of course, that’s just surface strength. In reality, to carry out Plane colonization, the entire Kingdom’s strength must be united, with unified governance.

Otherwise, forget it; a Plane War is not easy to fight. Victory doesn’t guarantee everything, but defeat will certainly be miserable.

"Not bad, not bad, he looks pretty spirited."

After Tidel concluded his national founding and succession declaration, what followed was a grand parade, but those were the Knight Orders Noah had seen before, including a Knight Order whose mounts were Noah’s project result.

"So tiring, Noah, I really wish this would end right now!"

Despite appearing dignified as the Atlas King, behind the scenes, Tidel complained to the Holy Dragon,

"What’s the point of holding such ceremonial rites? Our strengths on the surface are almost fully exposed, and those who should know already do."

"But the people don’t know. You have to let them know that the Kingdom they belong to now is a strong nation, capable of and powerful enough to provide them with a peaceful and serene life, enhancing their identification and sense of belonging to the Kingdom."

"Sense of belonging, huh? A single ceremony can’t nurture that."

"That’s why you must host one every five to ten years, and you also need to set today as National Day, holding a founding celebration and granting a long holiday every year on this date."

"Being a king is too hard!"

"You’re already complaining? This is just the beginning!"

Noah laughed mischievously.

Indeed, Tidel complained that the Kingdom’s strengths were known to those who needed to know, but in reality, the ones truly aware of the Kingdom’s strengths were the Elf Court of Central Earth and the Star Tower, topmost transcendent powers.
