"I absolutely disagree!"
Noah observed the majestic middle-aged man whose eyes seed to flicker with lightning. Though strands of Legendary Power leaked from his body, causing imnse pressure on all living beings around, the Golden Dragon remained unfazed, gently swaying its tail,
"This is a notification, not a discussion. I don’t need your consent, I just thought you should know, so don’t be agitated."
"Noah, is soone forcing you? Why would you make such a dangerous decision?"
Tidel looked at the Golden Dragon before him with so confusion.
He believed he understood Noah very well—after all, this was the Dragon he had watched grow up. From childhood, Noah had been extrely cautious, never stepping into dangerous situations. If there were even a hint of risk, he would avoid it by a wide margin, to an extent that left others speechless.
"Do you think anyone on this land could force ? This is my own decision."
"Do you know how dangerous the South is right now?"
Tidel’s emotions were sowhat agitated. With his status and position, he was aware of the upheavals in the South, and several Legends familiar with his father had sent ssengers seeking Casius’s help.
However, Tidel politely refused them. Without Casius, as for himself, it was good enough just to hold the core of the Augusto family; he had no spare capacity for external assistance.
"I have a general understanding of the situation; it’s not as dangerous as you think."
"The projection of the Demon Lord has descended multiple tis, and the number and scale of demons have reached legion levels, and you tell there’s no danger?"
"Tidel, don’t just focus on the terrifying entities on the other side; you should also see the powerful entities on our side. Danger is relative."
Seeing the sowhat restless Augusto family head in front of him, Noah remained unruffled.
The Abyssal invasion is indeed a serious event that requires careful handling and must not be allowed to develop unchecked, but such a scale of an event had not occurred on the Xilantia Continent for a long ti, which actually ans that the continent’s native defensive power is quite ample.
Although the sudden occurrence led many Legends in the affected area and surroundings to flee rather than fulfill their obligations, this only indicated that the situation was slightly out of control but still manageable.
Noah believed that definitely, they were not the only forces planning to head south, and more forces would converge there.
With the unification and assembly of various forces on the continent, the descent of Divine incarnations is inevitable, as the demon invasion has indeed shaken the foundations of Divine faith, and no god, no matter how reckless, would sit by idly.
Thus, in Noah’s view, the continent’s current foundation can definitely suppress the Abyssal invasion. Therefore, while this event seems extrely dangerous, as long as one reaches a certain level, it poses no fatal risks.
This was precisely why Noah decided to participate. After all, as half of the mbers of the Gemology Society decided to head south, as President, if he avoided the battle, the image he had painstakingly built over the years would collapse.
Although the tallic Dragon Race greatly values money, they do not only focus on money. Without noble character, the ability to face difficulties, and the courage to withstand pressure in tis of adversity, no tal Dragon would acknowledge such a leader.
"On our side? Who? Have my father and mother returned?"
Tidel’s expression relaxed considerably. If his parents had indeed returned, he would have no objection to Noah going to the South.
"No, how is that possible? Besides them, can’t I know other Legends?"
"A Legendary Ancient Dragon?"
Realizing that Noah was neither acting recklessly nor coerced, but had so backing, Tidel’s expression improved significantly.
"Hmm, a bit challenging."
Noah appeared troubled. Spending so money to summon an Ancient Dragon wasn’t out of the question, but seriously considering it, he didn’t know whom to call imdiately.
Although he was acquainted with so very powerful old dragons and an Ancient Dragon, that Ancient Dragon was currently off with the old ones on another Plane, so he couldn’t hope to rely on them in the short term.
Of course, if it ca down to a situation where an Ancient Dragon was indispensable, summoning one would still be simple; Noah’s connections were limited, but other tal Dragons had plenty of channels.
The key lay in whether he was willing to spend the money, and Noah was actually unwilling to do so at the mont. After all, with a promise of free assistance from a Six-winged Angel, why spend anything?
Money should be spent wisely, used where necessary to determine the outco of a battle.
"I actually know a Six-winged Angel of quite so renown; she might be able to bring sufficient surprises."
Not wanting to keep arguing with Tidel, Noah imdiately took out the feather Ophelia had once gifted him. As the feather’s sacred light turned into flas, a ssage was sent to Heaven.
Rumble——
In an instant, space collapsed, holy radiance spread from the other side, transforming a corner of Mage City into a realm of Light,
"Ancestor Dragon?"
Nurous gazes projected from the other side of the space, all were Main Angels bearing six wings. Their powerful auras pressed down strongly, but Tidel stood his ground, stepping forward to shield Noah. Golden lightning erupted around him, encircling his seemingly small human form, with an imposing presence that rivaled even the Angels.
