"No, it’s too wasteful!"
After calculating his assets, Noah dismissed the idea of inviting the Ancient Dragon for tea, because it wasn’t just a one-ti issue; the Augustus family needed a legend who could stay long-term, relying on outside forces was simply unreliable.
He could spend money to invite the Ancient Dragon once or twice, but hiring him long-term would be a different price altogether. Even if Noah were more extravagant, he couldn’t withstand such consumption.
It’s not just a matter of cost-effectiveness; the foundation of a force shouldn’t rely on external power. In the short term, it’s fine, but over ti, it’s hard to say who they would ultimately listen to.
You see, young and middle-aged Golden Dragons might still be curious about everything in the world and travel extensively, but once they age and lose that curiosity, they will focus on developing their own power.
Thus, a tal Ancient Dragon would never be isolated as a solitary dragon; if a Golden Dragon with its favored and servants enters another force, then do they bring their favored and servants along?
If they do co along, should appropriate positions be arranged? Once integrated, over ti, who would this force ultimately listen to? Naturally, it would be the strongest, isn’t that obvious?
No one understands tallic Dragons more than Noah himself; inviting a Golden Dragon for temporary protection without establishing close relations is a good thing.
But if you let him beco a long-term protector, he is likely to see himself as a ruler and might naturally regard everything as his own. He would plan everything comprehensively, and anyone who disobeys his arrangents would be considered in rebellion.
The tallic Dragon Race, however good or kind, is still dragons, and the nature of dragons doesn’t change; their style and thods may be more acceptable than the Colorful Dragon Clan.
The Colorful Dragon Clan would use the most violent ans to plunder possessions they fancy while unleashing the ferocious nature residing in their bloodline, trampling on life and destroying everything — this is the nature of the Evil Dragon.
The tallic Dragon Race is slightly more refined, like the Golden Dragon’s most famous entrapnt enforcent, which is actually a highly targeted test challenge. If you fail, the Golden Dragon can justifiably impose punishnt and seize all wealth from the villain.
No one would say anything about this; at least on the surface, no one can criticize the Golden Dragon, because this is punishing evil and upholding justice. As for the wealth gained by the Golden Dragon, it is irrelevant and unworthy of attention.
Please, how many people can pass such targeted test challenges?
A weak, beautiful maiden seeking comfort, with a gentle and soft allure; a gravely ill rchant possessing great wealth with no ans of self-defense; or a rare treasure appearing before you, ready for the taking...
Who can suppress the evil thoughts within their hearts? Even if once, what about ten, a hundred tis? As long as once is uncontrollable, the tallic Dragon Race has a reason to act.
Only sages with impeccable virtue might not be plundered by the tallic Dragon Race.
But where are there so many sages in the world? If targeted by the tallic Dragon Race, there’s basically no choice. However, unless it’s an extre case, the tallic Dragon Race typically doesn’t target the sa person repeatedly.
Generally, if you can pass three to five tests, the tallic Dragon Race would typically give up the idea of taking action and begin to admire the other party.
So, in a way, the tallic Dragon Race is indeed much stronger than the Colorful Dragon Clan, at least for the common people. At the very least, they have rules and do not act recklessly.
[Why don’t you consider yourself?]
Gugefer’s ethereal voice arose, surprising the troubled Noah.
"Myself? How could I possibly match?"
Noah instinctively refuted but wasn’t particularly surprised by the wisdom of the Tower Spirit because the Tower Spirit itself could be considered a uniquely existing construct life form; her physical form was the entire Mage City.
[Why can’t you succeed?]
"I’ve only just advanced, and it’s impossible to touch the Legendary Domain in a short ti."
The Golden Dragon possesses great reason; the bloodline of the Ancestor Dragon indeed holds significant power, but that doesn’t an he can just advance to Extre Intent and contend with legends. It’s impossible.
Perhaps, when he reaches the endpoint of the Ultimate Intent Realm and perceives the existence of the Legendary Domain, just like his foster father Casius did in the past, he too could confront the Gatekeeper Legend.
But not now, Extre Intent is a Great Realm; humans and other short-lived species divide this realm into five major levels, but for the Dragon Species, such divisions are just references and need not be adhered to, as there are no boundary barriers to impede them.
However, even at the pinnacle of Extre Intent, when foster father Casius had one foot across, he only managed to breach the defense of the now-deceased Royal Family’s lee legend, but he himself was seriously injured.
Thus, it is clear that beings below legendary status have almost no chance of contending with a legend, no matter how genius, only a legend can contend with another legend.
But nothing is absolute; the foster father is ultimately a half-blood, yet he achieved such feats, while Noah is a pure-blood Ancestor Dragon.
Although Noah doesn’t think he can break through to beco a legend shortly, upon reaching the peak of the Ultimate Intent Realm, he can attempt to challenge the Gatekeeper Legend, perhaps achieving equality or even victory in battle.
