"Gwen is a prodigy, an exceptionally outstanding prodigy!"

"I know."

The young man nodded slowly; for a father, this was undoubtedly sothing very pleasing,

"She is better than ."

No one could shake Selena’s arrangents. The distressed Tidel tried to plead for his daughter, seeking more rest ti, but unsurprisingly, he was scolded and thrown out.

Edith, however, did not follow her husband’s example, attempting to interfere with her daughter’s study plan, but she returned more frequently, sotis simply staying overnight to be with her daughter.

However, as Gwendolin grew, her adaptability and learning ability increased, and her schedule also changed accordingly.

The most absurd thing to Noah, which was sowhat unacceptable, was that a large amount of calming potion and nutritional supplents were added to Little Gwen’s learning schedule. Their purpose was to shorten the ti spent on eating and sleeping.

"Are you crazy? She’s still less than two years old! She’s your granddaughter, not a machine!"

Noah once again questioned his adoptive mother’s arrangents.

"I got through it like this when I was young. I intentionally added so sweetness to the potions she drinks, unlike the bitterness I had to endure."

This was Selena’s response.

The Golden Dragon was extrely annoyed and could only give Little Gwen extra care in his courses.

"Dragon Dad!"

The little girl’s voice, filled with joy, echoed in the empty hall. Gwendolin, who was originally sitting upright, imdiately relaxed, her tense little face revealing a smile, though she couldn’t hide her fatigue.

"How was the last class on High Elf Language? Are you feeling tired? If you can’t hold on, you can take a nap."

Noah was particularly lenient to the little girl who called him Dragon Dad; after all, she grew up holding onto his tail.

"Hmm, today was okay, not too sleepy."

Little Gwen shook her head obediently, her face showing a sweet smile, an expression she would never show in the classes of other language teachers.

Because those teachers were too strict, rigid, and harsh, like a magic statue executing so kind of order, strictly regulating her every move.

"Did you drink the Heart of the Ocean Potion again?"

Noah deduced from the lingering scent in the air.

That was one of the calming potions provided by his adoptive mother Selena, aid at eliminating fatigue, reducing sleep ti, and slightly enhancing spiritual power. It could be consud long-term and had excellent healing effects for minor external injuries.

However, no one would use it for external injuries as the potion was expensive and not cost-effective among calming potions, but apart from this, it had no drawbacks since it didn’t cause drug resistance.

"Today, it’s a sweet and sour raspberry flavor."

Little Gwen shared the potion flavor she tasted with the Golden Dragon, appearing very happy.

"Ripe raspberries taste better, without any sourness. I’ll have the fairies gather so for you, and you can try them during your break after class."

Noah noticed sothing unusual about the little one sitting in place without moving.

Because on usual days, as long as he entered this hall used as a classroom, the little one would always pounce on him. But today, she sat obediently in place, which was sowhat unusual.

"What’s going on with your palm?"

After sensing sothing wrong, the Golden Dragon’s gaze fell on Little Gwen’s tightly clenched little fist, detecting an unusual scent.

"I’m fine, Dragon Dad."

Little Gwen didn’t loosen her grip on her fist.

"Does it hurt?"

Noah’s tone was gentle, he had already "seen" it,

"Is it very uncomfortable?"

"Yes!"

For a little girl barely over a year old, there was no resilience; with the Golden Dragon she felt closest to being so caring, she couldn’t hold back any longer, her little mouth puckered, and large tears began to fall.

"Co, let take a look."

With Noah’s warm tone, Little Gwen gradually released her fingers, revealing two blood marks in her palm, though covered by a faint water mbrane above them,

"What’s going on here?"

The Golden Dragon’s tone didn’t change.

"I made a mistake writing the Ancient Elf Language from mory, and the teacher hit twice."

The little girl’s voice carried an indescribable grievance, her voice gradually becoming tearful,

"But he only taught once, I really can’t rember, boohoo~"

"Did you sprinkle the Heart of the Ocean on your palm to cover the scent, so I wouldn’t find out? Why didn’t you want to tell ?"

The color of Noah’s dragon eyes gradually beca a deep shade, though the little girl was unaware.

"I didn’t want to worry you, waa."

"It’s okay, it doesn’t hurt."

Noah extended his Dragon Claw, and a spotless white light glead at his fingertips, with the bloody scars healing at a visible speed.

"Besides this Elf Language teacher, have other teachers ever punished you physically?"

"No."

Little Gwen shook her head, the healing of wounds brought a comfortable expression to her face, followed by confusion, and imnse grievance and sadness,

"Dragon Dad, am I really stupid? The new teacher Mikal said he’s never taught such a dumb student like , who can’t even rember the simplest Ancient Elf Language."

"Of course not, that’s nonsense. You’re the smartest child I’ve ever seen; how could you possibly be dumb? It’s because Ancient Elf Language is too difficult. If I just looked at it once, I wouldn’t rember either."

Noah comforted her.

"Really?"

"Of course it’s true."

The oldest Elf Language contained powers akin to magical runes. In fact, magical runes evolved from these earliest and oldest writings. And these ancient words, imbued with power, were inherently difficult to comprehend and rember.

"Are we not having class today?"

Little Gwen quickly noticed the difference, looking at the Golden Dragon who was chatting with her, bewildered as she blinked her eyes.

"Today’s a break."

"But..."

"In the classroom, the teacher decides."

Noah’s voice contained an indescribable gentle power, and under its influence, the little girl chatting with the Golden Dragon unknowingly lay her head on the desk and drifted off to sleep.

The mont Little Gwen began her even breathing, the Golden Dragon, whose expression had been serene monts ago, suddenly changed moods, the dark golden eyes glinting with purple energy, and golden flas flaring between his scales.

"From today onward, you’ll only have as your teacher."

The Golden Dragon left the classroom, heading straight towards the residence of the Mage of the Starlight Tower.

"Where’s Mikal? Get out here now!"

A colossal being over twenty ters long descended from the sky with wings spread wide, letting out a near-roaring growl, its presence notably imposing.

"Lord Noah, what brings you here to see ?"

A young Mage with the sa silvery hair as Little Gwen, wearing a Starlight Magic Robe, walked out from the building, looking up at the Golden Dragon with an indifferent expression. His slender, pointed ears revealed his identity.

A pure-blooded High Silver Moon Elf.

"Who allowed you to teach with corporal punishnt?"

Noah’s dragon eyes turned into a purple-golden hue; just looking at the mage’s lineage explained why Little Gwen was punished.

Although she inherited only one-fourth of the High Elf lineage, Little Gwen’s appearance, like her mother’s and grandmother’s, was nearly flawless. Indeed, even when compared with High Elves, she didn’t fall short.

However, apart from her hair color, she bore no other Elf characteristics. Such a mixed-blood Elf, in the eyes of certain Pureblood Elves, was considered an inferior being tarnishing the race’s bloodline.

"Lady Selena allowed us to use the teaching thods from the academy for Miss Gwendolin’s courses."

Even facing the Golden Dragon’s questioning, the Elf Mage Mikal responded neither humbly nor arrogantly, seemingly unafraid.

After all, it’s just a juvenile Golden Dragon without humanoid form, possessing nothing but a large body; what could it possibly do to him?
