[Third Person Pov]
As Robin and Danny arrived in Star City, weaving through the late-afternoon traffic toward the Green Arrow's Quiver, the city felt deceptively calm. Neon signs blinked to life one by one, pedestrians clustered on sidewalks, and the steady hum of engines filled the air. They slowed as the traffic light ahead flicked to red, traffic humming calmly around them—almost peaceful.
Robin lifted his phone briefly, thumb moving fast across the screen. "I let Speedy know we're already in the city and on our way," he said, tucking the phone back into his suit.
"Hold on—wait," Kid Flash suddenly said, twisting impatiently in his seat behind Danny. "Why am I obeying traffic rules? I'm a freaking speedster."
Danny snorted.
"Later, slowpokes—" Kid Flash began, crouching slightly, ready to bolt.
Before he could move, the sharp wail of sirens tore through the air.
All three of them turned in unison.
A large armored bank truck ca barreling down the street behind them, swerving violently as it clipped a parked car and sent it spinning. The rear doors were partially blown open, cash spilling out into the street as masked n inside clutched duffel bags. Police cruisers followed close behind, tires screeching as they struggled to keep pace.
Then ca the gunshots.
The crack of automatic fire echoed between buildings as bullets sparked off asphalt and storefronts.
The light turned green.
The three heroes exchanged a single look—then smirked.
"Showti," Kid Flash said before he vanished in a red-and-yellow blur, leaving a spiral of displaced air behind him.
Robin and Danny gunned their engines and veered off the road, riding straight onto the sidewalks. Pedestrians scread and dove out of the way as the bikes tore past storefronts, bus stops, and newsstands, hopping curbs with ease as they closed in on the armored truck.
Kid Flash was already in motion ahead of them, zipping between police cruisers as the situation escalated further.
From side streets and alleyways, more armored vehicles suddenly burst into the open.
"Woah—!" Danny shouted. "They're not alone, I repeat they're not alone!"
Two additional armored cars slamd into the street, ramming police cruisers head-on. One cruiser flipped onto its side, sparks flying as it skidded dangerously close to a crowd of civilians. Another was smashed into a light pole, the front end crumpling as officers struggled under gunfire.
Kid Flash imdiately redirected.
He streaked toward the civilians, grabbing people mid-sprint and yanking them out of harm's way in flashes of yellow and red. He shoved people aside with impossible speed, a police cruiser as it began to roll—then he darted inside, pulling two stunned officers free just as the vehicle slamd onto its roof.
"Move, move, MOVE!" he shouted, herding civilians towards the inside of stores as bullets ripped through the air and he caught them with his bare hands before they hit anyone.
anwhile, Robin dropped lower on his bike.
"Danny—tires."
"On it."
Robin hit a switch.
tal spikes deployed from beneath his motorcycle, grinding against the pavent as he swerved directly into the path of one of the armored cars. The spikes shredded its front tires in seconds. The vehicle fishtailed violently, slamming into a storefront and grinding to a halt.
Danny followed up, slamming his palm onto a control.
A thick stream of glowing green ectoplasmic goop sprayed from his bike, coating the wheels of another armored truck. The substance hardened instantly, gumming up the axles and locking the tires in place. The truck slowed to a crawl—then stopped entirely.
Gunfire erupted toward Danny as masked thieves leaned out of firing ports.
Danny swerved sharply, bullets tearing through the space he'd been a second earlier.
"HEY!" He snapped, "If you so much as get a scratch on her I swear to god I'll forget my moral code!"
Dark green energy flared along his back.
Two ghostly duplicates peeled themselves off him, solidifying into perfect clones before rocketing through the air. They phased straight through the armored vehicle's walls, reappearing inside in bursts of green light.
Seconds later, the gunfire stopped.
The doors blew open as unconscious thieves spilled onto the street.
Robin and the original Danny pressed forward, weaving through a storm of bullets coming from the main bank truck. Robin flicked another switch.
His bike shifted into autopilot.
He stood up, vaulted forward, and crashed straight through the side door of the armored van.
Inside, chaos erupted.
Robin moved like a shadow—elbows, knees, and batons dropping thieves one by one with ruthless efficiency. Weapons were knocked aside, arms dislocated, pressure points struck. Within monts, every man inside was down.
Outside, Kid Flash rejoined Danny near the front of the truck.
"Passenger's mine," Kid Flash said, "And you have to tell how the hell you can create clones of yourself, that's such a cheat!"
He ripped the door open mid-motion and physically threw the ard gunman inside out of the vehicle, sending him skidding across the pavent where police imdiately sward him.
Danny's eyes flashed green again, 'Says the guy with the speed force'
He spawned another clone, which dove forward, phased through the windshield, and possessed the driver. The truck lurched violently as the clone seized control, slamming the brakes and jerking the wheel hard to the side.
The armored van screeched to a halt inches from a crowded crosswalk.
Monts later, Robin erged from the back, dusting off his gloves.
Police rushed in, weapons raised, quickly securing the scene as sirens filled the streets.
Civilians stared in stunned silence.
Robin swung back onto his bike once the last of the flashing lights faded and the scene was officially secured. The engine roared to life beneath him as he pulled alongside Danny, the two of them rolling forward in unison. Between them, Kid Flash took off at an easy jog, matching their speed without breaking a sweat, a wide grin plastered across his face as the city blurred past.
"Now that," Kid Flash said proudly, "is what I call tight and efficient teamwork. Can't argue with results, right guys?"
Robin let out an amused scoff, shaking his head slightly beneath his helt, while Danny smirked, glancing over at Kid Flash as they continued down the street. Neither of them bothered to answer aloud—their expressions said more than enough as they pressed on toward their destination.
…
Location: Star City – The Quiver
Date: April 17
Ti: 5:03 PM
The trio arrived at the entrance of the Quiver almost simultaneously. Robin eased his bike to a stop just as Danny pulled in beside him, while Kid Flash skidded to a halt between them, barely disturbing the pavent.
Waiting at the entrance with his arms crossed was Speedy, his bow slung over his back and a familiar look of impatience etched across his face.
"Speedy, my guy!" Kid Flash greeted enthusiastically as he rushed over, throwing an arm over Speedy's shoulder before knocking fists with him. "How are ya?"
Speedy smirked as he returned the gesture, then glanced pointedly at the ti display near the entrance. "What took you guys so long? You said you'd be here in five. You got here in twenty."
Kid Flash didn't miss a beat. "We stopped a robbery—super aweso, by the way—then I got hungry, and soone insisted we stop for a quick bite." He gestured vaguely between Robin and Danny as Speedy shook his head and opened the entrance, guiding them inside.
The interior of the Quiver buzzed with quiet activity. Green Arrow and Black Canary were already waiting for them, standing near the center of the space. They approached as Danny and Robin parked their bikes and removed their helts.
"Glad you two could make it," Oliver said as he stepped forward, shaking hands with both of them. His gaze then shifted to Kid Flash, one eyebrow lifting. "Though I wasn't expecting a third."
"Haha, sorry about that," Kid Flash laughed, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. "Probably should've given a heads-up."
"Danny," Canary greeted warmly, stepping closer and ruffling his helt-flattened hair with a grin. "It's been a hot minute, hasn't it?"
"Feels like two," Danny replied, smiling as he returned the greeting.
Canary studied him for a mont before asking, "You've been keeping up with your training, right?"
"Yup," Danny said, pride creeping into his voice as he rubbed his nose. "I even managed to change the weather once with it."
"Seriously?" Canary asked, disbelief flashing across her face. "That's insane. I don't think I've ever done anything close to that… though I can see how it might be possible. Still—insane."
Danny straightened slightly, clearly enjoying the reaction, before turning to exchange greetings with Oliver as well.
Once everyone settled, Oliver's expression turned serious. "Alright, I'll keep this quick and to the point. There's been a sudden spike in suicides across the city, and we can't make heads or tails of it. None of the scenes were staged, the autopsy reports turned up nothing unusual, and the locations were… clean. As clean as sothing like that can be." He paused. "And before you ask—no signs of mind control. We checked."
Danny's expression darkened as he thought it over. "So the only conclusion you've been able to co to," he said carefully, "is that whatever's causing this is supernatural in nature."
Every mber of Team Arrow answered with a grim nod.
