The whole world was watching Godzilla.
When Godzilla was first discovered by Monarch, many dia outlets broadcasted the event through satellites outside the atmosphere.
The United Governnt did not prevent this from happening. They wanted to demonstrate their power to the world.
Until
Now.
The entire fleet was annihilated, and Godzilla successfully landed in Tokyo Bay.
Under the setting sun, the world witnessed Godzilla, and Tokyo Bay, once bustling, now stood empty.
Boom!
Erging from the sea, Godzilla stepped on the concrete of Tokyo Bay, gazing at the buildings around it, larger than its own body, and thought
Is this the nest of those small entities?
Having just landed onshore, Godzilla wasnt in a hurry to destroy anything. It could sense that there were no humans present in the surrounding buildings. Besides, it was the first ti it had seen these modern human-made nests up close, so it was quite curious about them.
After all, there was no ti limit for its mission.
Godzilla walked on Tokyo Bay, and its astonishing weight made the ground tremble with each step it took.
Although it caused vibrations, no area collapsed under Godzillas weight, except for the instant impact when it first stepped on.
The land constructed by humans was quite sturdy.
Godzillas own footprint was a circle with a diater of 40 ters, and it had two feet, so the total area was 2,500 square ters.
Dividing its weight by that, we can calculate that the pressure exerted on the ground beneath its feet was 6.4 gapascals (MPa), equivalent to 64 kilograms per square centiter.
It sounds heavy, but the compressive strength of pre-nuclear war concrete surfaces was over 30 MPa, and post-nuclear war asphalt roads had a strength of around 10 MPa.
So weight wasnt an issue.
Tokyo is filled with 300-ter and 400-ter tall buildings, and Godzilla road through the city.
Its massive body collapsed one small building after another.
Its footsteps crushed the asphalt roads and the motorcycles on them, leaving behind cracks.
It smashed skyscrapers without hesitation, trampling on human creations, occasionally destroying a high-rise building.
This is the typical scene in monster movies, where a creature rampages through a bustling city, destroying everything in its path.
And humans could only watch, powerless to do anything about it.
The above is how Godzillas actions were perceived by humans. But in Godzillas own eyes, it was just sightseeing.
Godzilla looked around, carefully observing human creations. The more it looked, the more amazed it beca.
There were small vehicles that could carry them and fly.
There were trains in tunnels, about half its length but much faster than itself.
And there were those tall skyscrapers taller than itself. Because it was the first ti it had seen them, Godzilla even dismantled a few to examine their structures.
So of them collapsed during the process, burying it underground, but a few were successfully dissected by Godzilla, revealing their internal structures.
Truly intricate little things, it thought.
It evaluated them as such.
It wandered through the city like an ordinary person, discovering many things within, but without anyone to share its findings with.
Collapsing houses, crushing motorcycles, shattering skyscrapers things that humans saw as acts of hostility.
But for Godzilla, they were rely unintentional actions. It hadnt decided to destroy Tokyo yet. At least, it would explore enough before setting it ablaze.
Godzilla road through Tokyo, continuously toppling buildings with its colossal body, paying no mind as it continued forward.
Tonight, Tokyo was silent.
No vehicles, no pedestrians, only a monster nad Godzilla, being watched.
Havent found it
After searching within the Tokyo area for a while and confirming that Tokyo Tower was indeed gone, Godzilla shook its head and prepared to comnce its destruction activities.
Originally, I wanted to destroy Tokyo Tower, just like in those human monster movies, but it turns out that humans themselves blew it up with their nuclear war.
Today, Tokyo is without Tokyo Tower.
Connected by fusion reactors, Godzilla looked out at the urban cluster ahead and began its own destruction.
Hot flas spewed from its mouth, not like the fusion reactors breath that directly poured out fusion plasma.
Instead, it absorbed energy from the fusion reactors, heating a certain area to high temperatures and then expelling it, just like the monsters in ordinary monster movies.
Godzilla didnt have an abundance of nuclear fuel to spew its breath tens of thousands of tis.
This breath, with its 3-4 terawatts of power, could be heated and expelled using other substances.
If it couldnt find sothing to heat, it would casually eat so dirt or swallow seawater.
Flas continuously gushed from Godzillas mouth, but they were slower than its previous breath and didnt converge like before.
They were ordinary, outward-expanding high-temperature flas. As soon as they were expelled, they spread hundreds of ters forward, engulfing all the buildings within a few hundred ters in a sea of fire.
The instantly spreading flas directly shattered the buildings ahead, blowing their skeletons and debris several kiloters away, turning the entire area into an inferno.
As it walked, Godzilla unleashed its flas, slowly moving through Tokyo, incinerating everything in its path.
Buildings hundreds of ters high were directly blown open by the flas, turning into lted debris scattered in the air. The asphalt roads below them were sublimated, creating high-temperature steam, raising the surrounding temperature to a terrifying degree.
Moving forward and spewing flas, Godzillas current action was different from its breath. This ti, the flas were continuous, constantly expelled.
With each sweep, Godzilla turned the entire fan-shaped area hundreds of ters ahead into a sea of fire. Dozens of high-rise buildings collapsed, while low-rise houses continued to burn.
It advanced at a moderate pace, pushing through the entirety of Tokyo, with a sea of fire surrounding it.
Its breath returned human creations to their primal state.
Boom
House after house turned into ruins as Godzilla turned Tokyo into a hell of crimson.
It was sowhat regrettable.
As it destroyed these intricate creations, Godzilla felt a sense of loss.
tal lted, rocks sublimated, and every now and then, a high-temperature pillar of fla, hundreds of ters long and dozens of ters thick, swept through the distance, causing massive explosions, engulfing the surrounding space, turning them into crimson.
This was the imnse power possessed by Godzilla, dyeing the entire Tokyo red during the night.
On the horizon, the sun rose once again, and at this mont, as Godzilla engulfed the entire Tokyo in an endless sea of fire, a voice echoed in its mind.
After the voice echoed, Godzilla looked at the burning Tokyo that had endured for a day and night. Without looking back, it walked towards the sea and subrged back into the depths.
Today, Tokyo was destroyed.
