When the system was upgraded, other than awakening a new ability, Ethan’s existing [Godly Revival Ability] also underwent a transformation, unlocking a second effect apart from the usual [Interface of the Killer’s Stats].

[God’s Undoing]: Allows the host to reverse ti by exactly one hour from the mont of his death, undoing fate itself as if it never happened.]

When Ethan first saw the description, he didn’t think much of it and thought it could be used once in a while; however, he didn’t expect that he would be using this new effect so soon.

At the sa ti, he truly understood how terrifying and priceless this new effect under the [Godly Revival Ability] was.

Now, standing in the sa Stone Mountain, as though nothing had ever happened, Ethan could only marvel at how reality itself bent under his will.

’So... this is the true aning of undoing fate.’

Everything that had happened, his death, the massacre, even the activation of the Abyssal Blood Domain, had been undone as if it were a re illusion. Ti itself obeyed him now.

When Ethan realised that he couldn’t revive the Old Minotaur, Golden Horn, by normal ans, he decided to test this new effect.

For that, he willingly gave up using the first effect, [Interface of the Killer’s Stats], for the next seven days.

A small price for what he intended to accomplish.

Since [God’s Undoing] could rewind ti by exactly one hour, Ethan planned to use this opportunity to test the full battle potential of the Stonehorn Bull Tribe.

’It might seem cruel... but this is the only way to bring out their true strength.’

Even though every Minotaur he killed earlier would co back to life after the reversal and rember nothing of their death or agony, the pain they felt before dying had been real.

Ethan didn’t like that part. But he steeled his heart and muttered, ’This was necessary.’

’After experiencing everything, I’m certain... I can handle the entire Stonehorn Bull Tribe, except for that woman, Diamond Horn.’

The leader of the Stonehorn Bulls, Diamond Horn, had proven to be beyond his reach. Her power was monstrous, bordering on the Quasi Soul Transformation Realm.

Ethan knew even his bloodline wasn’t enough to win a direct fight against her.

’If I use my Special Talent: [Gift of the Eternal Pursuit], I could kill her. But... there’s no reason to fight her head-on.’

He had achieved what he wanted, and it was knowledge.

Now, ard with what he’d learned from the one-hour massacre, Ethan was confident he could ta these wild bull warriors.

....

"...So, I’m expecting that with your ability to sense the Spirit Stones, the Stonehorn Bull Tribe will soon rise to new heights."

Ethan smiled faintly, pretending to listen as Golden Horn spoke with a hint of pride.

The old Minotaur stood tall beside him, completely unaware that, just an hour ago, Ethan had clawed him to death.

The mory of that scene was vivid for Ethan, but for Golden Horn, it had never happened.

"I’m sorry, Great Elder," Ethan said, lowering his head respectfully. "Even after the upgrade, I still can’t sense the Spirit Stones... maybe you should leave... that way, I might sense them again."

Golden Horn frowned, a little disappointed but not angry. "Is that so? Then continue your search. I will return to the city and wait for your ssage."

Ethan nodded solemnly. "Understood. I’ll find as many Spirit Stones as I can."

As soon as the Old Minotaur left the hall, Ethan’s eyes turned cold and thoughtful.

’Now... let’s plan how to take control of the Stonehorn Bull Tribe.’

He knew brute force wouldn’t work, not here.

’I can’t use the Godly General Revival Life Cards on them. They’re useless in this realm.’

He had tried before and failed. Those cards worked only on beings from the cultivation world. These Minotaurs, filled with tribal pride and bound by the Origin Bull Spirit, would rather die than submit to a human.

Even if he killed them again and again, they wouldn’t bend. They’d call him a monster, not a leader.

’And if I try to use force again, that damn woman will awaken... and I’ll die before I can even activate a single skill.’

He rembered the female Minotaur’s sheer speed and how she had appeared before him like a thunderclap and shattered his bones with one punch. He didn’t want to face that again. Not yet.

’I could use the Golden Blood Drops from my Heavenly Talent [Infernal Dragon Blood Heart], but... that would turn them into Blood Servants. And I refuse to do that.’

The Golden Blood Drops, when consud by Spirit Beasts, triggered evolution and showed the information about their evolution paths.

But when taken by humanoid beings, they erased consciousness, turning the victims into mindless puppets that followed Ethan’s every command.

To many, it would be the perfect way to build an army. But not for him.

’I want loyalty... not slavery.’

It might seem like a small difference, but to Ethan, it was everything. True loyalty ca from trust, from respect. Not fear or domination.

’Looks like I’ll have to take the hard path.’

After considering all his options, Ethan clenched his fist, his expression firm.

’One month... that’s the ti I’ll give myself. One month to beco the true master of the Stonehorn Bull Tribe.’

Ethan was still deep in thought, running through dozens of possible thods to subdue the Stonehorn Bull Tribe, when a familiar ding echoed in his mind.

[System Notification: A new mission has been generated.]

’A mission?’ Ethan’s eyes glead, and the corner of his lips curled slightly. ’That’s what I was waiting for.’

He wasn’t surprised in the slightest; in fact, he was expecting it.

That’s right! The reason he had deliberately set a one-month deadline earlier was precisely because of this.

After countless trials and experints, Ethan had realised sothing: whenever he set himself a challenging but ti-bound goal, the system often responded by creating a corresponding mission.

And missions ant free rewards for sothing that he was about to do.

Who doesn’t like free rewards? Even Ethan wasn’t an exception.

"At least, that’s what I’m hoping for..." he murmured, tapping his finger against his chin as he opened the mission details.

[Mission: Gain the Loyalty of the Great Elder of the Stonehorn Bull Tribe]

[Objective: Gain full 100 points of loyalty from Golden Horn, the Great Elder]

[Reward: Loyalty of all Minotaurs in the Stonehorn Bull Tribe will automatically increase to 90 points, and the Loyalty ter for the entire tribe will be unlocked.]

[Ti Limit: 1 Month.]

Ethan’s eyes widened slightly as he read through the details.

’T-this... the reward... no... the rewards are much greater than I expected...!’

A grin spread across his face as he clenched his fists in excitent because it was not a single reward but two rewards.

The rewards were enormous, far beyond what he’d anticipated.

The first reward was a base loyalty of 90 points across all the Minotaurs in the entire tribe, which ant he’d have an army of near-devoted warriors the mont he succeeded.

The second reward was none other than the Loyalty ter itself, a priceless addition.

"Haha... I did the right thing setting that deadline!"

With the Loyalty ter, Ethan could see exactly how each Minotaur felt about him, who trusted him, who doubted him, and whose loyalty could be deepened further.

It was like having the perfect psychological map of the entire tribe.

In other words... one step closer to true dominion.

’With this, I can not only control them but also nurture their loyalty properly. Once I push it to 100 points, their allegiance will be absolute.’

It was not just their allegiance that Ethan was excited about, but another thing that he was looking forward to.

Recently, Ethan learned that when soone’s loyalty towards him reached 100 points, he would earn God Essence, and with those two rewards, Ethan’s chances of turning the entire Stonehorn Bull Tribe into his loyal subordinates were just a matter of ti.

In the tribe, there were thousands of Foundation Establishnt Realm Minotaurs and hundreds of Golden Core Minotaurs.

Other than that, there were even 100 Nascent Soul Realms, excluding the Female Minotaur, who was an inch away from becoming a Soul Transformation Realm Minotaur.

’If I can complete this mission, I will get lots of God Essence.’

Ethan exhaled deeply, his heart brimming with satisfaction, until his gaze fell on the final line of the mission.

[Penalty: The host will be teleported back to the Cultivation World.]

"...Tch." Ethan froze for a mont before letting out a bitter laugh.

’This... this penalty is insane.’

All the joy he’d just felt evaporated instantly. It wasn’t that he was surprised there was a penalty. Ever since the system upgrade, every major mission carried one, but this particular consequence was too cruel.

If he failed to gain Golden Horn’s loyalty within the month, the system would forcibly teleport him out of the Void Secret Realm, robbing him of the nineteen remaining months he had left here.

’Was I careless when setting this up?’ he wondered, his brows furrowing. ’I knew there’d be a penalty, but this... this is harsh even for the system.’

A single misstep could cost him an entire realm’s worth of resources, opportunities, and hidden legacies.

He fell silent for a few seconds, then sighed and shook his head.

’Forget it. What’s done is done. If I fail, I fail. But I won’t.’

A faint light flickered in his eyes, determination, sharp and resolute.

’Now... I just need to earn the full loyalty of Golden Horn within one month.’

His fists tightened, and he started moving on the mountain, while thinking of ways to get Golden Horn’s loyalty within a month.
