He looked down. His limbs were short, his body hunched, and he hurriedly rushed to a nearby pool.

Soon, the reflection in a shimring pool revealed the image of a tiny Lightning Ape cub, and he was shocked.

‘What’s happening? Wait a second. I know what’s happ….’

Before he could process his thoughts, his body started moving on its own as he leapt from branch to branch, living within a dense jungle filled with Spirit Beasts.

He roared to challenge stronger foes, fought other Spirit Beasts, dodged death at every corner, and gnawed on Spirit Fruits to increase his strength.

Ti passed—days turned to months, months to years and most of the ti he fought, he hunted, and he grew from a tiny Lightning Ape to a Big Lightning Ape.

There were defeats. There was pain. But there was also huge growth.

His fur grew longer, his limbs sturdier, and the lightning around his body crackled louder as he survived ambushes by humans, barely escaping with torn flesh and broken bones.

He challenged a Lightning Dragon that suddenly appeared in his territory, and though he nearly died after fighting for months, he ultimately erged victorious with missing teeth and limbs.

‘Am I going to die? It is truly a wonderful death.’

Lying on the ground, the Lightning Ape muttered to itself, proud of its death after taking down a powerful foe like the Lightning Dragon; however, the corpse of the Lightning Dragon turned into pure Lightning Dragon Energy and entered its body.

‘T-this….’

Soon, under the shocked expression of the Lightning Ape, its body was covered in a pure white light.

By the ti the pure white light disappeared, the Lightning Ape that was on the brink of death was nowhere to be seen.

Instead, there was a powerful Lightning Ape whose eyes glowed with majesty, and on his head, a pair of shimring draconic horns ford.

He was no longer a Lightning Ape, but he had evolved into a Rank 5 Lightning Dragon Ape.
