Feng Wu said in resignation, “The petition is about to begin.”
Feng Wu had accepted the petition because she wanted Feng Xun and Xuan Yi to practice their skills. She herself didn’t plan to do any actual fighting.
Feng Xun’s eyes immediately lit up.

Feng Wu and Mu Yan had agreed that each side would e up with five contestants, and Mu Yan had picked out the ones that the Junwu Empire would send.
Feng Xun had plained to Feng Wu about accepting the petition, but now, he just wanted to celebrate this great decision.
“Let’s go! We’ll make them cry!”
He could barely keep both his feet on the ground.
It felt great because the five giants had given them such a hard time earlier.
Feng Xun and his people found the swords first, but the five brothers tried to rob them. After a bloody battle, the two sides agreed to settle the conflict via an eating petition.
However, the five brothers drank some potion that activated their giant bloodline and could suddenly eat so much more. Feng Xun was furious!
He had never been so frustrated in his life and had been trying to vent his anger. Finally, he had found a chance.
Around the arena stage, the people of the Dongsang Kingdom were as arrogant as ever since they thought they would definitely win the petition.
Their five giants were all Level 8 Spiritual Kings, which gave them much more strength.
On top of that, they had determined which Junwu cultivators could participate in the petition.
Feng Xun, Xuan Yi and Mu Nan were all Level 7 Spiritual Kings. They didn’t know Feng Wu’s level and thought that Wang Zhaole, the Level 8 Spiritual King, was the most powerful of them all.
The Junwu Empire didn’t stand a chance!
They couldn’t understand why Feng Wu would agree to fight this battle.
The colonels hadn’t lost all hope.
Was it possible that they still had some all-purpose transformation liquid left?
Even so, it couldn’t guarantee that Feng Xun and Xuan Yi would bee Level 8 Spiritual Kings, and that still wouldn’t be enough.

Time ticked by, and it was soon time to start the petition that Feng Wu and Mu Yan had agreed on.
However, Feng Wu still hadn’t shown up.
The Dongsang Kingdom was pleased.
Mu Yan raised her eyebrows in satisfaction.
She said, “Time is about to run out. Where’s everybody? Where are the contestants of the Junwu Empire? Where did they go?”
She had her supporters. A girl chimed in, “Are they scared? Did they run away?”
The girl was Yu and was a sweet talker. Her adulation had always made Mu Yan happy, so she took the girl everywhere with her.
“Run away? Really? She agreed to that bet. Will she go back on her word?” Mu Yan feigned a confused tone.
Yu said, “They can’t win the petition and may even get killed. People will laugh at them for running away, but they get to live. I guess they’d rather choose the latter.”
As word of the petition spread, the event attracted much attention, especially since Feng Wu and Feng Xun were involved.
More and more people were gathering here.
The place was packed, and the nearby area was pletely surrounded.
The proud people of the Junwu Empire wouldn’t stand for such mockery.
Wang Zhaole retorted, “What do you mean where’s everybody? I’m right here! Feng Xun went to cultivate. You’ll be scared out of your wits when he returns!”
Mu Yan burst out laughing.
