Zi Ling smirked. “I went to see Mr. Zhu about it, but he told there was nothing he could do and sent away.”
Chaoge said, “I can’t believe it! What happened after that?”
Zi Ling smiled bitterly. “Zhen Ya has been mocking whenever she sees and targets every chance she gets. She becos alard when she thinks I’m too close to Lu Xiao. That’s why I’ve been trying to avoid them, but I can’t stay unnoticed sotis because Lu Xiao greets all the ti.”
She snorted. “I wish he’d never talk to again since it always brings trouble.”
Zi Ling turned to Chaoge and said apologetically, “I wouldn’t have reacted like this if I were on my own, but I dragged the two of you into it. I really don’t know what to do.”
Chaoge didn’t feel that she should feel bad about hitting Zhen Ya, but she had indeed caused Feng Wu trouble again.
“Xiao Wu…” Chaoge went to Feng Wu’s side, lowered her head, and asked gingerly, “I shouldn’t have done that, right? Have I caused you trouble again?”
Feng Wu chuckled.
Chaoge was confused.
Feng Wu said in resignation, “You did the right thing.”
Chaoge was shocked.
“What?”
Feng Wu said, “I said, you did the right thing.
“Who told you that you have to swallow your grievances?
“Do you not understand why I scolded you before?”
Chaoge said, “Xiao Wu, I…”
Feng Wu waved her off. “You need to figure it out on your own. Until then, don’t co to see again.”
Chaoge was almost in tears and turned to Zi Ling for help.
Zi Ling was as dumbfounded as she was.
Feng Wu left the dormitory and walked around the academy. She spent so points and listened to a few classes.
After attending a lesson on cultivation theory, she worked out the average level of the other students here.
