He could only currently see the soldiers in front of him as the only obstacle. It appeared that the only thing he needed to do was get around the stone soldiers and make his way to the treasure chest that was located behind them.
Naturally, Raydon's objective was not rely to acquire the chest; rather, he sought to eliminate all of these soldiers and accrue experience points.
''Rusty Chain.''
As he stood still, he activated his skill. After observing that the soldiers were continuing to stand perfectly still, Raydon made the decision to launch the first assault. His goal was to verify whether or not these stone soldiers were truly as sturdy as they appeared.
First, he activated the flas on his chain and threw it at the stone soldier closest to him.

"Yes, wake up and hand over all your experience points." When Raydon's chain reached the stone soldier and wrapped around its body, he saw that the other soldiers suddenly began to move with a loud rumbling. When he saw this, he knew his assumption was right, and he let out a delighted shout.
The excitent, however, did not last.
''Are you kidding ? ''
He watched as all of the stone soldiers gradually ca to life and made their way towards him in slow movents; however, this was not the reason that he was taken aback.
The thing that shocked Raydon was when the stone soldier bound by his flaming chain grabbed the chain and began to pull it away from its body as if it were a piece of string.
He was unprepared for the soldier's strength and resilience, and he quickly realized that he would need a new approach if he was going to be able to defeat these stone soldiers.
''Even the crystal golems I've previously encountered were not as resilient as these. What are these? '' Raydon said as he pulled back on his now-loose chain.
The only damage that was done to the stone soldier was a slight darkening of the stone body caused by the flas and curse effect, as well as a few small cracks where the chain had beco entangled in the stone soldier's body.
Raydon's strongest attack power at the ti was this chain, but it was clearly insufficient to defeat these things.
'If I want to defeat a stone soldier using this strategy, I will most likely need to attack the sa location multiple tis. However, the process will take a long ti. '
He kept thinking as he evaded a stone arrow that was aid at him.

With a loud crash, the closed door behind Raydon was struck by the stone arrow, shattering it. Evidently, the arrow's power wasn't sufficient to harm Raydon, but it would be sufficient to shake his frail body.

His previously white skin gradually darkened into a grayish hue over ti. His crooked grin was accompanied by a puff of blackish steam from the gaps in his tightly closed teeth, giving the impression that he was on fire from the inside out.
Shortly after that, dark flas started to erge from his body as well. His hair stood on end and writhed in a way that resembled a living mass of black fire that danced with every movent he made.
As the flas surged and licked at the air, they produced a nacing aura that enshrouded him like a cloak of darkness.
''What the fuck is going on with my body?''

Raydon took a mont to pause, dumbfounded by the rapid changes that were occurring in his body, and was then knocked away by a sledgehamr. As a result of the force of the blow, Raydon's body ricocheted off the ground a few ters away before coming to a stop.
