As Raydon nodded, Fang continued. ''Before I request your assistance, I must inquire about sothing else. Did your ntor or anyone else provide you with a key to access this rift event? '' Again, Fang enquired.
This key was only in the possession of a small number of people because it is much harder to find a key to this rift event than it is even to find a blue-grade item. Also, finding this key was not solely a matter of strength, but rather of luck.
As a result, those who are qualified to take part in this rift event should possess a key, which they should acquire with the help of those who already possess the key.
Understanding what Fang would want from him, Raydon felt a sudden surge of excitent, but he quickly quelled it and said calmly.
''The reason my ntor didn't give a key to the rift event is because he told I didn't need to participate. '' Raydon once again told the first lie that popped into his head.

Depending on the size of the world in which they occurred, these rift events were normally restricted to ranks, just like inheritances.
The upcoming rift event was an F-Rank rift, making participation restricted to those with either an F-Rank or an E-Rank item holder. Fang had to ask Raydon for help because he couldn't take part in the event on his own because the event dinsion couldn't handle the power of a B-Rank item holder like him.
'Even I make an effort to attend this event, so why is his ntor telling him he doesn't have to? What opportunities does that crazy high rank provide for this young man, making him think that this F-Rank event is completely unnecessary? ' Fang pondered in disbelief.
If he really stated that this rift event was unnecessary for an F-Rank, it ant two things. Either that high-rank had plans for Raydon that exceeded what a F-rank rift could provide, or Raydon was significantly more powerful than an E-rank item holder and doesn't need this rift to get stronger.
After giving it so thought, Fang decided that either choice was ridiculous.
'I guess I still underestimated that high rank and this young man,' Fang sighed.
''Well, if your ntor says that this event will not benefit you, then that should be the case. Actually, I have a key in my hand, and I wanted you to attend this event in my na. ''

When he looked at this additional item that Fang had given him, he couldn't help but think. An extrely rare body enhancent on top of the F-Rank rift event key and now this. Undoubtedly, it wouldn't be inexpensive to pay for everything. But Raydon was willing to do whatever it took to get it all.
