Chapter 296: Drunk Yuna!?
*Gulp* Gulp* Gulp*
The more Yuna drank from her bottle, the paler Batenda's face beca. Usually, the stronger a shinobi was, the higher their resistance to alcohol, but the stuff he served the group was no joke. Despite it not being the drink's real na, quite a few people gave it the nickna of "Shinobi Killer", since it could even get powerful shinobi dead-drunk.
He didn't know how heavy a drinker Yuna was, but if an average human drank that drink like that, they would either puke instantly or die of alcohol poisoning. Yuna was still relatively young despite her exploits, so Batenda wasn't sure if she had drunk alcohol before or not and whether she knew how much she could and couldn't drink.
After a few seconds of uncomfortable silence, which was only interrupted by Yuna's gulping and Gaara almost falling off his chair while taking another sip, Yuna finished her bottle and tossed it behind her, resulting in the bottleneck getting stuck into the door like a knife.
Batenda almost started crying when he saw that.
'Can't you leave my door alone!? Isn't it already all beat up from getting kicked open twice!? Why do you have to add even more damage on top of what's already done!?'
Of course, Batenda didn't dare to voice any grievances and concentrated on the nice bar he would create with the money Yuna gave him after he survives today.
Monts later, an earth-shaking burb echoed through the bar, causing Gaara to get startled and imdiately retaliate with an attack out of instinct. Fortunately, Gaara was utterly wasted at this point in ti, so his attack harmlessly sailed past everyone and punched a few more holes into the door and the surrounding wall.
Although Batenda was slightly awed by Yuna's burb, he still couldn't help but give his door a look filled with pity.
'I'm sorry. You have served faithfully for a long ti now, so if sothing remains of you at the end of the day and I'm alive, I will make sure to display you in my new bar in so way.'
anwhile, a look of satisfaction appeared on Yuna's face as she nodded her head.
"Phew, that was sowhat decent. Not bad, and now give another bottle."
Batenda only gave Yuna a blank look due to her order and pulled out another bottle. At this point, he was praying that Yuna would drink a lot before the effect could kick in and be out of commission within a short ti fra.
Due to Yuna's antics, Hinata couldn't help but chuckle and started eyeing her own bottle with a conflicted expression. After a short mont of thinking, she simply shrugged her shoulders and picked it up. However, unlike Yuna, she only took a small sip, and when she felt the intense burning sensation in her throat, a slight frown appeared on her face.
'Honestly, this isn't to my taste at all. There is almost no taste, and the only thing I can feel is the burning sensation in my throat. As expected, I should have gone for sothing lighter.'
"Hinata, dear, if that is too strong for you, you shouldn't drink it. There is no reason to push yourself. I don't want you to get drunk and do sothing stupid, after all."
Hinata nodded her head when she heard that reasoning. She was just about to push the bottle away and order sothing else when she completely froze up. No, it wasn't just Hinata who froze up; Every single person except for Gaara, who was still attacking an enemy only he could see by widely swinging his fists around, froze up when they realized who gave Hinata that advice.
It actually ca from Yuna.
Four gazes landed on Yuna and looked at her in complete bewildernt. When they saw her slightly flushed face, they understood the situation and thought the sa thing simultaneously.

Yuna realized that everyone was looking at her in bewildernt and tilted her head in confusion.
"Is sothing wrong?"
"Y-Yuna, are you really all right?"
A kind smile appeared on Yuna's face before she nodded her head.
"Of course I am fine? Why wouldn't I be?"
"O-Okay, Gaara is pretty drunk right now; how about playing a little prank on him?"
When Yuna heard Hinata's words, a frown appeared on her face before she shook her head.
"That is not very nice, Hinata. In fact, wouldn't it be prudent to stop him from drinking anymore? He appears to be over at his limit already, and he might do sothing shaful if we don't stop him now."
Deafening silence covered the room and was only interrupted occasionally by Gaara destroying sothing. Hinata swallowed the lump in her throat and continued speaking with a shaky voice.
"Y-Yuna, d-d-do you know what sha is?"
Yet again, Yuna tilted her head in confusion and answered Hinata's question.
"What a weird question, why wouldn't I kn..."
Before Yuna finished speaking, Hinata moved at lightning speed, picked up the alcohol bottle she was just about to push away, filled her mouth with alcohol, and kissed Yuna, forcing her to drink it.
After Yuna drank everything and separated from Hinata, she looked at her in bewildernt, but before Yuna could say anything, her mouth was sealed yet again by i copying what Hinata had just done.
Usually, Hinata wouldn't be happy about i kissing Yuna, but she was too busy filling her mouth with alcohol again. Hinata and i's eyes t for a split second, and they gave each other a knowing look. Both of them were weirded out by Yuna's current behavior, so despite their previous conflict, they decided to work together to get Yuna even drunker, hoping she would return to normal.
anwhile, there was only a single thought in Yuna's mind when she saw Hinata and i working together to get her drunker.
'Just as planned!'
[*Sigh* As expected. Drunk people tend to get more open as their feeling of sha is reduced, but if there is no sha from the beginning, then nothing will change no matter how drunk they get.]
'Now, now, Kurama. That isn't entirely true. Personally, I think I get more perverted when I'm drunk.'
