Chapter 159 - Hiruzen's Realization
Tsunade couldn't help but glare at Yuna when she realized that Yuna had all that blackmail material prepared beforehand. No matter how she looked at it, she didn't believe that Yuna predicted her request.
"When did you prepare all these scrolls, Yuna? You were obviously carrying them with you and were prepared for my request."
Yuna nodded her head and confird Tsunade's guess.
"Correct, I was carrying that stuff with for a while now. As for the reason…Well, over the years I have collected so information about pretty much everyone I deed important. There are a lot of things that can be simplified with a healthy dose of blackmail, after all."
Tsunade looked at Yuna in disbelief due to her ridiculous statent, while Hiruzen couldn't help but shudder in fear. No matter how he looked at it, there was no way Yuna didn't carry a scroll with his na on it with her. Although he never did anything that could be considered illegal, who knows what kind of dark secrets Yuna managed to dig up about him.
"So, you are just casually carrying secret information about Konoha's council mbers with you wherever you go?"
That was actually what bothered Tsunade the most. If this was actually the case, it would an that Yuna was carrying around a massive amount of secrets with her, that could deal serious damage to Konoha if they were to be revealed.
"I wouldn't really call it "casually". I, obviously, have them sealed away. If there was soone that could get their hands on the information inside that seal, then I don't think there would be anything that could stop that person anyway."
"Besides that, aren't you misunderstanding sothing? I said " people I deed important", I never said anything about only having information about Konoha's council in there. In fact, I didn't even specify that I only have information about Konoha's citizens."
While Tsunade was dumbfounded about what Yuna just said, Hiruzen slipped into deep thoughts. Yuna might have sowhat broken him a little, but that didn't an that he had beco stupid. As soone with the moniker of "The Professor", he was very adept at piecing together complex puzzles. A frown appeared on Hiruzen's face as he stood up and took one of the scrolls Yuna had just handed over to Tsunade.
The more he read, the deeper his frown beca. His instincts were telling him, that he was overlooking sothing, but he wasn't sure what it was. After he finished reading through the first scroll, he picked up the next one and started reading that one as well.
Tsunade, anwhile, managed to wake up from her stupor.
"If you had all this information for such a long ti, why do you only reveal it now? There is no way you did that just because you wanted to make train soone in dical jutsu."
"Correct, again! The dical jutsu training was only sothing convenient that fit the situation well. Truth be told, if I hadn't found out about Karin's talent a few weeks ago, I would have been satisfied with just making the mission count as more than one S-Rank mission. The real reason is, that I think you would react more decisively than Hiruzen when dealing with these people. They have been polluting Konoha with their existence for long enough, and it is ti to get rid of them. Hiruzen has grown too soft to do sothing like that. No offense, old man."
Hiruzen, however, seed to have not even heard Yuna. He was still reading scroll after scroll with utmost concentration. Tsunade, anwhile, had a deep frown on her face. She didn't plan to beco so great Hokage that leads the village to glory or sothing like that, but that didn't an she would calmly spectate as Konoha is being destroyed from the inside. Now, that she knew what was going on and knew about how the high-ranking people of Konoha are siphoning Konoha's resources for their own benefits, she had to do sothing about it. Especially when Yuna had already prepared everything for her. At this point, Tsunade had conveniently forgotten that she was planning to do the sa on a smaller scale.
Before Yuna and Tsunade could continue their conversation, Hiruzen slamd his hand on the table.
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND, YUNA!?"
Although Yuna knew what Hiruzen ant, she only smiled at him innocently while tilting her head to the side.
"Oh my, I wonder what you are talking about, old man?"
A shiver of terror went through his whole body when he saw Yuna's innocent smile. He wanted to yell at her, but he suppressed it and instead opted for just glaring at her as hard as he could while clenching his fist hard enough to draw blood.
'This madwoman! Does she want the whole Elental Nation to declare war against the Uzumaki clan? After reading through most of these scrolls, I finally found out what was bothering . Every single one of the photos inside the scrolls is taken at an important location. Usually, inside the personal office of the corresponding person.'
'Years ago, I might have assud that soone with incredible stealth was responsible for taking these photos and not think about it too deeply, but after checking all the scrolls, I noticed that there would occasionally be photos with sowhat similar tistamps. Either, the people that were spying on these individuals were extrely lucky to always be in the right place when sothing illegal was happening, or they were under constant surveillance.'
'Considering that Yuna claid that she had information about more people, the second case should be very unlikely, but this is where the recent changes co in. What does soone do when he speaks about sothing he doesn't want soone else to know? Years ago, they would have simply positioned more guards, but nowadays, most people would simply activate their privacy seals. Where would they get these seals? Obviously, they would buy them from the Uzumaki clan, where they would only cost a fraction of what they had before the return of the Uzumaki clan.'
'If it was soone else, I wouldn't believe for even a second that they had the guts to sell a privacy seal that had a monitoring chanism build into it, but this is certainly sothing Yuna might do. No! What am I talking about? "Might do"? There is no way she wouldn't do it! If this information gets out, Konoha might be done for, but considering Yuna's ridiculously high level at sealing, that is very unlikely. In other words, the fewer people know about it the better.'
"What is wrong, sensei? What did Yuna do this ti?"
Hiruzen woke up from his thoughts when he heard Tsunade's voice and quickly ca up with an excuse. The secret that the Uzumaki clan had spread spy seals over the whole Elental Nation is a secret he will take to his grave.
"Sorry about that, Tsunade. I was just outraged that Yuna hasn't told anything about these people. I an, look at this one. He actually stole three percent of Konoha's inco. How could soone be so shaless as to steal money from the village they grew up in? People like that are true trash and, in my opinion, they shoul…"
"Yesyesyes, sensei. Trash, real trash…*cough*…How about you help sort through all of this and help co up with a plan about how we handle these people."
A bright smile appeared on Hiruzen's face when Tsunade asked him for help, while Tsunade couldn't help but blush a little while feeling guilty when she saw Hiruzen's happy smile. Both of them had the sa thoughts.
'Good, I managed to change the topic to stop him/her from asking any questions.'
Yuna, anwhile, wasn't entirely sure what do to. It seems like Hiruzen and Tsunade have both forgotten about her while happily creating a plan on how to deal with the council mbers.
'Well, I guess I will just leave?'
[Might as well. I think you have done enough damage for one day.]
'I don't know, I feel like I am forgetting sothing important.'
[Considering it is you, I sowhat doubt that it actually is important.]
'*Cough* I have no idea what you are talking about. Besides that, I rember what I was missing. Just look at how much concentration these two are putting into their work. They are missing a healthy dose of sugar, to keep their brain activities going, don't you think?'
[So in the end it cos down to that, huh?]
Without another word, Yuna vanished from the room, and seconds later…
*SPLAT**SPLAT*
…a cake smashed into Tsunade's and Hiruzen's faces. At first, the room remained quiet, but monts later, Tsunade stood up with fury clearly visible in her eyes.
"THAT DAMN BRAT IS ASKING FOR BEATING!!!"
While Tsunade seed to be monts away from hunting down Yuna, Hiruzen casually swiped a finger through the cake in his face and gave it a lick.
'Mhh, walnuts? How unusual, but nonetheless pretty tasty.'
