The ocean currents swirled around Alex as he soared through the water, racing upwards towards the surface from Fishman Island.
A few sea kings looked at Alex like he was lunch as he made his way, but a single glance from him was enough to send most of them running. And then there were the ones too stupid to realize he was too much trouble, and swiftly t their ends from Alex's teeth.
In all, it seed like no ti before Alex climbed all ten thousand ters from Fishman Island, and his head broke the surface of the ocean in the New World.
When it did, Alex was greeted by storms unlike anything he had ever seen before.
Water spouts raged in every direction, swells over a hundred feet high on the low side, and winds to put even the worst of hurricanes to sha.
Despite all of this, Alex had a massive smile on his face.
THIS is what the One Piece world, the Grand Line and New World specifically, was all about!
Treacherous seas that could turn at a mont's notice, and islands full of mystery, intrigue, and dangerous opponents!
Alex couldn't help but to lant that he waited to co here until he was already so strong, as everything that made this world fun was already too minor for him. Even the next mont, when a whirlpool opened up to swallow him in an instant, Alex was barely even fazed.
Not as the currents ripped him through the water, his body dragged across a reef, or when a massive sea king smacked him with its tail, Alex couldn't even be bothered to worry. Though he DID turn the sea King into shish kabobs afterwards.
Storing them away for later, Alex continued on his way without worrying about the terrific storm going on around him. His first stop, Punk Hazard.
The island was forr research facility that had been left condemned by the World Governnt and Marines after a poison gas explosion, which had been set off by Caesar Clown. Once a fertile and lush island, it was now a barren wasteland after the poison gas killed off all of the vegetation, animals, and hundreds of inhabitants.
If the tiline had continued according to cannon, then in the near future the Admirals Akainu and Aokiji would duel for the position of the next Fleet Admiral on the island. The result would be the entire island being transford into half a frozen wasteland, and half a molten hellscape.
At the mont however it was just a dusty barren wasteland, at least until Alex set foot on it.
Alex gave the island one look, before waving his hand while channeling Regeneration magic. Instantly the dull island was transford back into the lush and vibrant environnt it originally was, though unfortunately he couldn't return the animal life as well.
Or could he?
"Maybe this is a good chance to try putting my Life divinity to use?" Alex asked himself out loud, before enveloping the entire island in a ti distortion so he could spend a while practicing.

More than a few 'days' worth of ti later on Punk Hazard, and Alex sat back as he admired the variety of fauna that now called the island ho. He had tried blending a bit of the fantastical with the mundane, resulting in quite the diverse array of fairly dangerous creatures.
From the massive mossy moose, with green moss-like fur and large antlers that were like tree branches, to adamantine boars with tal tusks and covered in tal bristle furs, or the stealthy stalkers, large jungle cats with fur capable of adapting to their surroundings to help them blend in.
There were also a large variety of smaller fauna roaming the island alongside the three main gafauna, consisting mostly of reptiles, birds, mammals, and amphibians, that weren't nearly as creative. But they all had a fighting chance to survive in this new world they found themselves in, and would be part of the new ecosystem Alex had created.
Of course he would be checking in when he could to make sure everything was thriving the way it should. But with his little experint finished, Alex decided to focus on the largest and most dangerous creature on the island.
Smiley.
Smiley was the remnant of the toxic bomb Caesar detonated on the island several years prior, but condensed and animated through the use of a Devil Fruit. The Sara Sara no Mi: model, Axolotl.
Thanks to the Devil Fruit, the poison gained a rudintary form of intelligence, though it mostly acted on instinct instead of thought. But, without knowing just how dangerous the poison was, Alex told the girls not to ss with Smiley when they ca to deal with Caesar and his goons.
Now however, Alex teleported directly in front of the massive doors deep underground that contained Smiley to keep it from running amok on the island.
"Here goes nothing." Alex said to no one in particular, though of course Ddraig and Lauren were always listening.
With his telekinesis, Alex ripped the doors sealing Smiley inside off the hinges and crumpled them like they were paper, before tossing the ball of warped tal aside.
"..."
Though the interior was pitch black, Alex could hear sothing moving within that shuffled closer to him before a massive gelatinous figure appeared.
"Yo, Smiley!" Alex called up to it.
"!!!"
An inconceivable roar echoed throughout the entire underground lab they were in, literally making it all shake with the creature's fury.
Smiley was furious that the one greeting it was not its master, and imdiately after its roar it swung a massive tentacle of pure poison at him.
"Here we go." Alex said with a wry smile, before his entire body was enveloped by the toxic goo.
Anything Alex was wearing was instantly dissolved by the acidity of the poison in Smiley, while even his skin started to feel a little itchy. A notable feat considering how high his Poison Resistance skill was.
If Smiley was able to make even HIS skin crawl, even after he took Magellan's poison, then Alex didn't see any need to hurry. Thankfully the ti distortion he'd put up around the island was still in effect.
So Alex just kicked back and relaxed as Smiley tried to dissolve him, sothing that frustrated the toxic goo to no end.
Ti passed, and Alex continued relaxing while Smiley continued trying to lt him. But the longer things went on, the more the living sludge was getting fed up with him.
Unfortunately for it, Alex wasn't just kicking back idly.
Eventually Alex received the notification that his Poison Resistance skill had gone up another level, topping it out at level ten.
"Guess I better wrap this up." He muttered despite still being inside of Smiley.
At that mont the entirety of Smiley's body began to dissolve as it was reduced to its most basic and harmless components, until all that was left was a puddle with a single Devil Fruit laying in the middle.
Alex quickly collected the Devil Fruit and ran a quick search over the lab to make sure there was nothing else of value, only to find another Devil Fruit that had been hidden away. It was the artificial Devil Fruit that would be eaten by Momonosuke in two years, and turn him into a pink dragon. (A.N. Reminder, Alex doesn't know it was supposed to be a direct copy of Kaido's fruit.)
Storing the two fruits away, Alex proceeded to trash the lab so it couldn't be used by anyone else, while also making a copy of all the data that was there for Lala and Haji to go over. Knowing them, they'd be able to take the work Caesar started on artificial Devil Fruits and be able to perfect them from the faulty Smiles, giving Asora their own endless supply.
It was only when all that was done, that Alex FINALLY left Punk Hazard for his next destination. Dressrosa.
Dressrosa was the kingdom that had been taken over and ruled by Doflamingo for more than a decade, until Yami, Shizuku and Erza all liberated it on Alex's behalf. Now the kingdom was under the rule of the royal family that had been in control before Doflamingo, the Riku family.
Their numbers included the current re-crowned King, Riku Doldo the third, the crown princess Viola, and the second princess Rebecca.
Doldo had been the beloved king of Dressrosa before the pirate Doflamingo returned to reclaim what had been his family's ancient throne. But thanks to Doflamingo, Doldo went from beloved to despised by the entire nation overnight, before the pirate stepped in to retake his family's throne to their cheers from the fake story he wove.
Viola, in a bid to save her father's life, joined Doflamingo's crew as the assassin Violet. A role she perford admirably thanks to her seductive looks, and the power of the Giro Giro no Mi that allowed her to spy on anyone in Dressrosa, from anywhere, and even read their minds.
Rebecca was the only daughter of Viola's older sister and the forr crown princess, Scarlet, as well as the greatest gladiator in the country's history, Kyros. After her mother's death though, Rebecca had been raised in hiding by a toy soldier that was actually her father after Sugar used her power on him.
Now Alex was on his way to go et them for the first ti since they had been liberated from Doflamingo, as well as to make contact with a hidden tribe on the island, the Tonttatas.

"Humph!" Harrumphed a mature and beautiful woman with long dark brown hair, which was currently splayed out in the water of the Royal baths.
"What's wrong aunt Viola?" Asked a girl in her early teens, with light pink hair that drifted in the water similarly to her aunt's.
"The man that my father wants to et, the Dragon Emperor. That's what." Viola spat distastefully when she recalled the events over the last several days.
Mostly, they had all been happy and full of rejoicing after the defeat of Doflamingo, due to his cris being revealed to the populace at last. But for Viola it was different after they heard what the won who had liberated them had to say.
Apparently they had been sent at the behest of a man called the Dragon Emperor, a man who had his wanted poster spread by the World Governnt the very next day. But when her father asked about the man, all three of them readily answered that he was soone who tried to pretend he was evil when he truly wasn't, and had the habit of 'collecting' any woman who caught his fancy.
They even made the comnt before leaving that he would more than likely try to 'collect' both Rebecca and Viola when he got around to visiting Dressrosa in the future.
"Are you still mad about what those three said about him 'collecting' us?" Rebecca asked.
"Yes! But that's not all, the king could very well go along with it if he deems him amicable enough!" Viola declared angrily, but then again no one could bla her after the life she lived, and the powers she had.

Even if the pirate had been able to fool his own citizens, there was no way the World Governnt was completely blind to everything he had been doing.
So, if the Dragon Emperor proved to be the better option, then they could throw themselves under his banner, with both Viola and Rebecca being 'collected' in the form of marriage as a sign of good faith.
Rebecca was currently fourteen, which most would say was still too young, but there would no reason not to promise her hand for when she beca of age. Viola on the other hand was already well into her twenties, with only a few more years until she reached thirty. As a mber of the royal family, especially the crown princess, most would say her first priority in the imdiate future would be securing an heir before ascending to the throne.
It was a idea that both quickly gaining montum in the kingdom, and getting on Viola's nerves.
Of course, Doldo won't just marry her off for the sake of convenience. If he didn't like Alex, then he wouldn't agree to the union if Viola didn't.
"Princesses Viola and Rebecca, the Dragon Emperor has arrived!" An attendant suddenly cried as they hurried into the baths to inform them.

"Hurry Rebecca." Viola said as she led the way through the palace halls, with her niece trying to keep up behind her.
Viola was dressed in a long purple dress with different rows of white frills, a pair of matching earrings, and a pink flower to hold her hair into place. Rebecca anwhile was dressed in a amber colored dress with nurous ruffles of the sa color, while her hair was held in place with a light-pink ribbon.
"I'm coming!" Rebecca called out to her aunt as she tried to keep up, still not being used to all of the fancy clothes and shoes that won of the Royal family wore.
Soon the two princesses arrived at their destination, being the throne room where King Doldo was currently receiving the Dragon Emperor.
"Ah! It appeared the princesses have arrived!" Doldo exclaid when they entered the throne room, and the duo saw Alex for the first ti.
"Nice to et ya ladies." Alex said while waving to them in greeting.
"It is a pleasure to et you, your highness." Viola said with every bit of the elegance and politeness that she had been taught as a young girl.

"I was just telling his majesty of the goings on of the kingdom since Doflamingo was dethroned." Doldo explained to the two of them, to which Alex nodded as he added,
"That's right! Plus I also looked over the country myself when I arrived. It looks as if the people are adapting well to all of the sudden changes."

"How'd you look over the entire island already? Do you have an ability like the Giro Giro no Mi? Or is your Haki that powerful?" Viola inquired out of curiosity.
"No no, my Haki's not THAT good. Though I probably should start refining it further...." Alex said, more to himself than anything, before continuing,
"One of my abilities is similar to Haki in that I can be aware of, and manipulate, anything in the area around . The stronger it gets, the larger my influence grows. The entire island is practically a drop in the total area it encompasses."
As Alex explained his ability, Viola's expression hardened as she asked testily, "anything?"
"Yes, anything." Alex answered imdiately, before he gave her a lecherous look.

In an instant Viola felt as if her heart skipped a beat as she stared at Alex's face, even as he wrapped one arm around her waist.
"You see Viola, I AM a vulgar, disgusting and perverted beast. You can just ask any one of my wives about that. But, I like to think of myself as a beast with class. Sotis." Alex said with a wry smile.
"Maybe you should try using your ability on now?" He suggested to her.
Though Viola didn't know exactly what he was doing to have such an effect on her, she did as he suggested and looked through a circle ford by her fingers yet again.

The scenes she saw this ti, were completely different!
While the previous scenes she had witnessed were all perverseness of the highest nature, the scenes Viola witnessed now were anything but.

"I-I'd love to..." Viola answered shyly, accepting Alex's offered arm as she led out of the palace.
"We'll be back later Doldo." Alex called back to the king as he and Viola left, leaving the entire assembled court stunned.
And as Alex and Viola departed on their date, a tiny figure with a bushy tail appeared beside the king.
"Please keep an eye on them for Leo." Doldo asked of the tiny figure without anyone else noticing.
"Of course!" Leo answered while saluting the king, before moving at such a speed that it appeared to disappear.

"That guy...!" She swore while jumping out of the bed she was laying in, only to realize she was completely naked under the blankets.
