At the sa ti, his eyes could follow every single of Jarid's moves as he was still not strong enough to overwhelm his eyes.
Though Petri's scales and only a part of his tail had been constructed when Jarid had rely been three ters away from him, Jason was still able to remain calm.

Only a small margin of mana that he didn't use for the abyssal effect remained unused inside his mana core, preventing the possibility of killing Jarid or destroying himself by straining his eyes and mana veins.
Jarid, who had been focused on attacking Jason, without holding back even if he were to stay unmoving, suddenly felt as if his entire body was becoming heavier.
As he stared straight into the golden eyes, his body felt heavier as sothing eerie seed to envelop his entire body.
He was unable to control the thunder that enveloped his body like an armor, and it was as if his affinity was struggling against sothing dark, and oppressive, reducing its lethality drastically!
Using his utmost efforts to control his heavy body, and the thunder armor, Jarid didn't even notice that his sight blurred as his mind had already entered a place full of nothing but eternal darkness.
