The Ti God was walking down the empty street. Even he had a hard ti finding Theo's base, considering Theo had used everything he could to hide it.
But walking around the area was enough for him to alarm Theo.
As he predicted, there was a mouse staring at the Ti God for one second before disappearing.
The Ti God felt the gaze. Unlike an expert, who could conceal their breath and presence, the mouse's gaze could easily be felt by soone like him.
Since Theo had been notified, the Ti God glanced at the side and saw a half-broken bench. He walked to it and sat down, waiting for Theo to make his appearance.
It only took him fifteen minutes before he could feel a presence coming toward him. He raised his head and saw Theo walking on the street.
"It seems that you want to talk to , Ti God." Theo looked at him with a solemn expression.
"You're not going to invite to your base? The last ti I helped you practice, I invited you to my ho."
"Invited ? You an kidnapped ?" Theo narrowed his eyes.
"But it doesn't change the fact that the training was useful, right?" The Ti God shrugged as if he didn't care about Theo's remark.
Theo fell silent for a while before asking, "So, what do you want from ?"
"Mhm…" The Ti God contemplated for a mont. Instead of answering Theo's question, he praised him first. "I wonder how much of this is your plan… The people in the white house are talking about you and don't seem to be able to find a way to get what they want from you.
"At the sa ti, the fact that you disappear after the big war makes people think about your plans. They're assuming you have a lot of plans to push them away from their position."
Theo shook his head. "I have stated it from the very beginning. I don't like getting involved in politics. Though, if you are going to annoy , then I don't mind jumping into politics."
"That's just like you." The Ti God thought for a mont. "That's why I'm going to ask this… What do you want from the base, Theodore Griffith?"
Theo's expression beca grim. This question had a lot of aning. It looked like a sign of surrender, but the Ti God must have a plan beforehand, so Theo didn't bite the bait imdiately.
Instead, he asked, "What do you an? I'm currently confused since I have everything I want here. Even if I want sothing, the base can't give it to ."
"Hoh? This makes curious. What do you want to be exact?"
"That's not sothing you need to know." Theo shook his head.
"If I don't know, why are you so sure I can't give it to you?"
"Because I know. That's just a fact." Theo didn't seem to be planning to give away what he wanted. However, Theo never lied, so he deed the Ti God to be unworthy to know about this. Rather than telling anyone else about it, he better keep it until the last mont.
But the Ti God couldn't be underestimated either. He smiled and asked, "So, it is sothing that I can't give you, but the Heavenly Sovereign can?"
He had realized the Heavenly Sovereign must be connected to this. After all, there was no way that whimsical old man would co down from his mountain to beco Theo's ally.
Theo thought for a mont and shook his head. "He might, but I don't think he's qualified."
"Hoh? Interesting." The Ti God smirked. "Then, is there a single person to be able to give you sothing you want?"
Theo smirked and stated, "No."
The smirk on the Ti God's face disappeared. What Theo said didn't make sense. If there was no one who could give it to him, even himself, then there was no point in asking for them. So, why did Theo even bother with this bullshit?
The Ti God asked, "If no one can grant it, including you, then how do you plan to get it? Your argunt doesn't make sense."
"Of course. There are people who know about what I want, but none of them can get it. However, that's the difference between us, Ti God. We might both rely on ourselves to get what we want, but you will always get stuck because you only believe in yourself. anwhile, I believe in others… I believe they will give what I want… And what I need to do is simply do my job until I get it." Theo shook his head, disappointed. He thought the Ti God could understand him, but it seed he couldn't expect too much from an observer.
The Ti God narrowed his eyes as if he was displeased when Theo showed his disappointnt. However, he managed to refrain himself and asked another question. "Then, does what you want destroy the base or this world?"
"I'm here to prevent that," Theo answered without hesitation. His tone was clear and his resolve was firm.
Even the Ti God could feel his sincerity behind those words. It seed that no matter what Theo did, he wasn't going to involve so many people in it.
The Ti God closed his eyes, falling into deep thought. He tried to figure out what he wanted but to no avail.
In the end, the Ti God sighed and said, "It seems that I can't understand you. But your ambition doesn't seem to be harming the base. That's why I'm going to stop here. You can take in the Mafia Queen as you like and I won't interfere."
"I think you misunderstand sothing, Ti God. I'm not the governnt's dog, so I don't have any obligation to comply with what you want. Even if they send you to capture , I'm not just going to open my gate and invite you in. In other words, the base should be the one to know their place. If they plan to control , then don't bla for being rciless," Theo stated coldly.
The Magic Power around the Ti God's body began to fluctuate as his expression beca extrely cold. He said, "It's been a while since we last fought… Do you want to fight little bastard?"
"I'm not scared of you, Old Clock."
