"Call Betty!"
The doll Betty glares at Ren, "I’m a creation of the Goddess, what relatives would I have?"
"Look at this description—head flew off but can still attack."
Ren points at the post in his hand, laughing: "Look for yourself—sapphire-like eyes, blonde hair, dress, got her head blown off by Fireball but can still move, then put it back on herself..."
"Conoscenza! Get over here!!! Give these people’s information, let see if there are any believers among these guys!"
Betty stares at that post with her eyes wide.
Good lord!
It really is sowhat similar to her.
Seems like it’s really also a doll...
Seems like it’s also the high-end kind with intelligence...
She’s really curious, but using divine realm authority to overlook the mortal realm requires precise positioning of believers or fanatics.
"Um... is there any possibility that you locked the book guy in solitary confinent?"
Ren looks at Betty whose eyeballs are about to pop out and quickly reminds her, afraid this guy’s head might fly off again... no wait, this ti it might just be the eyeballs flying out.
Really too horrifying!
With Ren’s reminder, Betty finally reacts.
She waves her hand and a black hole appears out of thin air.
The book’s endless chatter cos from inside.
But this guy doesn’t co out.
"Conoscenza, co out!"
"Not going out, I’ll just be locked up again anyway. This is fine too, my person... book life should be spent in such a secluded environnt. I still rember when I first gained consciousness..."
"Alright, help check if there are any believers where this post was published. I promise I won’t lock you up again today."
Betty’s voice echoes in that dark space, but the book still hasn’t co out: "Also, you can use rule power to limit my voice transmission!"
Ren can even feel Betty’s emotions continuously building up. Fortunately, after a few minutes, they really locate where the post occurred.
One person, one book, one doll stare at that scene with different expressions...
The poster really did encounter a doll, but compared to Betty, this doll looks much cruder and obviously fake.
The kind that would cause uncanny valley effects.
As for intelligence, it seems to exist, but probably not very high, just constantly murmuring:
"Hehe, are you here to play with Martha? This is so great, I’m going to turn you all into dolls! Then we can be together forever!"
The poster and his four companions have sohow been cornered, their faces full of despair.
"Let’s fight!"
The poster grits his teeth and chants several ancient syllables, bites his finger, and a drop of blood falls on a seed, then throws it hard at the doll calling herself Martha.
Bang—!!!
A loud explosion sounds, countless vines surge from that seed, directly wrapping toward that doll.
As they get closer, the barbs on the vines keep increasing, and their color becos increasingly bright red.
The mont the vines entangle the doll, light flashes in another person’s hand, and an ice spear condenses.
The other few people are also casually hiding sothing.
The whooshing sound of breaking air rings out.
Attack after attack flies over.
The ice spear directly pierces through the doll’s chest, but under the control of the bloody vines, the doll still seems unable to move.
Several other spells follow like shadows, all smashing into that doll.
Rumbling sounds and explosions echo throughout the entire space.
Smoke fills the air.
It seems this attack power isn’t small, but through their god’s-eye view overlooking all this, Ren and the others know this attack still didn’t work.
The chest pierced by the ice spear quickly recovers again.
The other bombardnts have no effect at all.
Instead, those bloody vines are affected by these attacks and start becoming shaky.
"Ah!!! You hurt Martha! You’re not here to play!"
The doll’s voice cos from the dust: "I’m going to eat you! If you don’t want to play nicely with , then completely rge into my body!"
They’ve already thrown their trump card spells, but it seems like they’ve only completely enraged this thing?!
Several magicians show fear on their faces.
Just then, the guy in the group who was the only one who hadn’t acted suddenly shouts loudly:
"Vengeful Spirit Puppet! This is a Vengeful Spirit Puppet! Its essence is a type of spiritual body. Soone in Magic Space recognizes this guy! To deal with this thing, you must use corrosion-type spells or ntal-type spells! Also, never let this thing hurt you—this guy directly damages our souls!"
"Corrosion-type spells?"
"ntal-type spells?"
Looking at the doll walking out of the dust, whose face no longer has any ’tranquility’ and has sohow opened its mouth wide showing a mouthful of fangs, several people instantly focus their minds.
But it seems the changes aren’t just these.
As this doll waves its arms, stones, iron objects, and furniture all around float up, seemingly ready to be thrown at them at any mont.
This monster can actually manipulate mid-level magic power!
The poster’s face turns pale. After what seems like psychological struggle, he finally steels his heart and grits his teeth: "I have a magical item that can release acid. Do any of you have similar magic or magical items?! Those who don’t, hold the line for , buy so ti—I need two minutes to prepare!"
As he speaks, he pulls out what looks like a teapot covered in various runes, a gray-black container, points it directly at that doll, and starts chanting.
The other few people’s faces are still full of anxiety, but they seem to have no choice and can only grit their teeth and start casting spells.
Various chanting sounds ring out again:
"Rock Impact!"
"Fireball!"
"Ice Spear!"
"Assault Gale!"
Several people keep casting spells at that doll, at the stones and iron objects flying toward them, but there are just too many things surrounding them to handle.
Ti passes second by second, and that doll gets closer and closer to them.
Closer and closer.
Despair shrouds each person.
They never knew two minutes could be so long.
Just when that doll is less than ten ters away from them and there seems to be no space left to cast spells, suddenly, magic power fluctuations co from nearby.
Countless foul-slling green liquid surges from that ’teapot,’ directly attacking that doll.
’Sizzling’ sounds keep coming, followed by shrill screams and thick white smoke.
That doll is like being thrown into concentrated sulfuric acid, beginning to gradually dissolve.
Just then.
The scene in front suddenly disappears.
Ren can’t help but pause: "Why did you suddenly turn off the TV?"
"What TV?!"
"I an, why did we suddenly stop watching?"
"What’s there to watch? It’s already over. Just noobs pecking at each other!" Betty’s tone is full of disdain: "One vengeful spirit, a few low-level magicians..."
Ren shrugs, not knowing what this guy is angry about. "Um, do all magic spells need chanting?"
"That’s just one thod they use to communicate with magic power. If they were strong enough and had other ways to guide magic power, naturally they wouldn’t need to waste ti."
Betty obviously misunderstood Ren’s aning, thinking he was like her, finding these magicians too slow in their fighting.
But then she hears Ren say: "Doll, I suddenly have an idea. See if it’s possible to implent?"
