As Qin Qiu and Jiang Qiemo arrived, Huang Tianming indeed felt a bit like heroes from all over the world were gathered, but it was sowhat different from what he had imagined before. These people seed not to have co because of his rallying call.

"No matter, with the support of the Qin, Jiang, and Zhang families, the Celestial Court Army is nothing. This ti, I can definitely avenge past grudges," Huang Tianming resolved fiercely in his heart.

The ones who ca did not bring any troops with them, not even Qin Qiu brought anyone, but having Jiang Qiemo here was already equivalent to having a thousand troops.

Jiang Qiemo once had a record of single-handedly causing a rout of thirty thousand demon soldiers. Although the demons were only defeated and not completely annihilated, it was still enough to be terrifying.

The Blinking Sword in Jiang Qiemo's hand had long since beco famous in the Grotto Heaven.

Qin Ziyu remained as gentle as ever, but he was even more restrained than before.

The two had t before, but didn't have much interaction. eting again in the Southern Heavenly Kingdom now felt like eting too late.

Both were skilled swordsn, though neither considered themselves pure Sword Dao masters. They excelled in other areas as well.

A brief chat soon led to many resonant points, and even in disagreents, their discussions gave rise to many new ideas.

Chen Guan, in contrast, couldn't find much to contribute to the conversation, as he hadn't really invested effort on a technical level and had little to discuss with these technically-inclined individuals.

However, Qin Qiu and Chen Guan had quite an agreeable conversation.

Of course, that was mainly because Qin Qiu was adept at chatting, knowledgeable about astronomy above and geography below, and could casually bring up various customs and cultures, easily setting a mood and ensuring a lively conversation, filled with humor and wit. If he wanted to chat with soone, there was no reason for it not to be pleasant.

Everyone got along well until Lei Bin personally led his army to the city's edge.

In this campaign, Lei Bin practically brought all the main forces from the Red Blood Corps' base. However, the generals he brought were those who followed him to the Red Blood Corps; he didn't use a single one of the original senior officers, not even those who had pledged allegiance to him.

Because, during the last eting, he felt Ji Nanhong's influence was still present and feared there were hidden supporters, so he didn't use any of them.

He was determined to win this battle beautifully, capture the Southern Heavenly Kingdom, and capture Chen Guan alive.

When Huang Tianming stood atop the city wall and saw the Red Blood Army below that resembled a red cloud, he did not cower like the last ti.

"Who goes there?" Huang Tianming stood boldly atop the wall and called out to the Red Blood Army outside the city.

He was quite confident now, with the Jiang, Qin, and Zhang families backing him. Anyone would feel more assured in his position.

"Huang Tianming, if you open the city gates and surrender now, and present Chen Guan bound, I might still spare your life," Lei Bin said coldly, sitting on the back of the Giant Scale Thunder Beast, looking at Huang Tianming atop the city wall.

"Does your position allow you to call this king by na? The Celestial Court Army acts against the heavens and brings calamity to the country. For the people of the world, even if it ans my death and the fall of my kingdom, I will resist you to the end." Huang Tianming declared with unyielding defiance, every word resonating powerfully.

Behind him, Zhang Chunxiang gave Huang Tianming a thumbs up.

Huang Tianming beca even more assertive, speaking with greater force: "I know you are also coerced, acting against your will. This may not have been your intent. Now, put down your weapons and join my Southern Heavenly Kingdom, help

fight against the traitors, and restore a clear and bright world. It won't disgrace the nas of your ancestors."

Lei Bin was so furious that it seed like fire was about to burst from his eyes. He suppressed his anger and said, "A traitor like you dares to spout nonsense against the heavens, unworthy of being left alive. Bring Chen Guan forward to et his death."

Chen Guan walked to the edge of the city wall, glanced at Lei Bin, and asked, "Who are you?"

"Lei Bin, Corps Commander of the Red Blood Corps," Lei Bin said coldly. "Chen Guan, as a mber of the Celestial Court Army, you betrayed and defected, daring to oppose the Celestial Court Army. This cri is punishable by death."

"Do you want to kill ? Then do it yourself and don't involve innocent people," Chen Guan said, unwilling to truly engage in a bloody battle with the Red Blood Corps, knowing there were mid-to-low-ranking officers who might have once been his own soldiers.

This was different from battling demons; Chen Guan hadn't reached the point of wanting to shed blood.

"Do you want a one-on-one duel with ?" Lei Bin's eyes flashed with excitent.

Temperantally violent, Lei Bin hadn't beco a Corps Commander for lack of strength.

On the contrary, his personal combat ability was very strong, earning him the moniker Yama Lei. He was formidable in both solo combat and as a leading vanguard.

However, his strategic skills were sowhat lacking.

In terms of managing the corps and employing talent, he was even worse.

If not for the situation involving Ji Nanhong, and being aligned with the right people at the right ti, he wouldn't have achieved this position.

Nevertheless, Lei Bin understood this. If there really had been others fit for the task, he wouldn't have led the army personally.

Chen Guan's seemingly divisive remarks about his relationship with his soldiers were seen by Lei Bin as an opportunity to establish his dominance.

By capturing Chen Guan by his own strength and then sweeping through the Southern Heavenly Kingdom, no one in the Red Blood Army would be able to shake his future standing.

"Chen Guan, didn't you want a duel with ? Then co on down, don't drag innocent people into it. If you defeat , I, as the Corps Commander, will grant the Southern Heavenly Kingdom rcy," Lei Bin challenged, attempting to force Chen Guan into a one-on-one fight.

His confidence in his personal combat power was high. One-on-one, Lei Bin truly was among the top fighters within the Grotto Heaven.

"Do you want a duel? Let

have so fun with you," Zhang Huacai leapt down from the city to face Lei Bin.

"You're not worthy of our Corps Commander's personal attention; I'll kill you," declared a general who had followed Lei Bin to the Red Blood Corps, charging at Zhang Huacai.

His mount galloped intensely, reaching Zhang Huacai in almost an instant, the spear in his hand carrying the ferocious Primordial Energy like a Giant Dragon, thrusting toward Zhang Huacai.

But at the mont of his strike, Zhang Huacai vanished.

He looked around, trying to spot Zhang Huacai. Soone in the Red Blood Army behind him shouted to be wary above.

Only then did he react, looking skyward while swinging his spear upwards.

But it was too late; Zhang Huacai's foot stomped onto the top of his helt, driving him and his mount into the ground, leaving only his head exposed.

Lei Bin was startled. How could soone who seed so unknown have such rapid body technique, possibly even exceeding his own?

"In the Southern Heavenly Kingdom, apart from Huang Tianming, no talents of this caliber are known. Where did Chen Guan find such a person?" Lei Bin felt a growing unease in his heart.
