The creaking sound was the noise made when the wooden door opened.

The two of them saw a little old woman walking out of the wooden hut, leaning on a cane.

The little old woman's cane was about 1.45 ters, and she was hunched over like a shrimp, making her much shorter than the cane.

The wrinkles on her face were piled layer upon layer, making her entire face seem like it was nothing but wrinkles, eerie and terrifying.

"You have arrived," the little old woman said, looking up at Chen Guan and Shang Ziyi outside the massive pit.

But the wrinkles on her face covered her eyes, and she had to use one hand to pull aside the skin around her eyes to reveal her cloudy eyes, using that one eye to scrutinize Chen Guan and Shang Ziyi.

Chen Guan and Shang Ziyi exchanged a glance, realizing they had encountered a Secret Realm relic.

According to what Chen Guan knew, these Secret Realm relics should be the products of an earlier human civilization, but it was unclear which era this wooden hut relic belonged to.

Judging by the little old woman's appearance, if she were human, she must have lived for countless years.

If she had survived from several generations ago, her age would be indescribable.

"Do you recognize ?" Shang Ziyi asked, staring at the little old woman.

"I don't recognize you," the little old woman shook her head slowly, her voice carrying the decay of an old coffin, "All who co are guests. Young ones, would you care to co inside for so tea?"

"Old lady, how should we address you?" Chen Guan asked with a smile, looking at the little old woman.

"In our era, people called

the Divine Woman, one who guides communication between humans and gods," the old woman answered with a smile, although her smile was more terrifying than a cry.

"Divine Woman?" Chen Guan pondered in his heart, unable to recall any related information, but at the very least, he was certain that this relic was not from the era of the King of Great Xia.

"Your generation is too young, your civilization too short. Not understanding the importance of communicating with the gods is understandable. Since you have co here, it ans you are fated with the gods. I, this old woman, can guide you to communicate with the gods, to gain their protection and blessings, to beco true powerhouses…" The old woman said this while turning and heading toward the wooden hut, making a gesture to invite them in.

Chen Guan also wanted to see what this era's existence was like. Being a mber of the Ten Great Families, Shang Ziyi had also heard stories about ancient generations, so he wasn't too surprised.

The two of them walked toward the old woman's wooden hut, and she slowly led them inside with her cane.

The wooden hut looked small from the outside, about the size of a large single room, covering only about twenty to thirty square ters.

However, upon entering, they found the interior much larger, a massive wooden Divine Hall with the walls lined with spirit tablets, hundreds in total.

Chen Guan glanced at a few of the nas on the spirit tablets, which were inscribed with the nas of deities: "Supre Celestial Spirit, Great Ming Peacock Saint God," "Holy Land Saint, Holy Son, Holy Mother Three-in-One God," "Ancient Zha Xupai Nine-Star True God," and "Great Brightness Saint Angel True and Holy God."

Chen Guan looked at each in turn, noticing the exaggerated nas of each deity on the temple walls, indicating their formidable nature.

The old woman walked to the wall and pointed at the spirit tablets, introducing them, "These are the supre True Gods of our era. Being recognized by any one of them would make you a divine envoy, granting you godly power, almost like a demigod."

At this point, the old woman sighed and said, "In the battle against the Sky Secret Spirit, countless great deities were summoned by our warriors to aid us in our fight. Although we were ultimately defeated, the tablets of these greatest gods were left here, awaiting humanity's resurgence, so they may have a chance to rise again."

"This Holy Land Saint, Holy Son, Holy Mother Three-in-One God, in our era, was an omniscient and omnipotent existence. Should you earn his favor, you might beco invincible in this world… This Supre Celestial Spirit, Great Ming Peacock Saint God…" the old woman introduced the glorious deeds and capabilities of these deities one by one.

"You may choose a deity to worship. Once you gain their recognition, they will descend upon you when needed, bestowing upon you boundless power."

Chen Guan knew that cultivation thods varied across generations, but he didn't expect them to differ so greatly from the old woman's era.

The cultivation of that ti involved worshipping deities, entirely different from their current practices.

Even during the era of the King of Great Xia, Chen Guan didn't find much difference, but now he couldn't quite comprehend what the old woman ant by "deities."

"Old lady, what kind of existence are these deities, exactly?" Chen Guan didn't choose a deity to worship as the old woman had advised but instead planned to first understand clearly.

"Deities are spiritual beings who guide humanity, granting them divine protection. Their existence enables humans to possess trendous power, to fight the Secret Spirits, and eventually to beco demigods, akin to the deities themselves…" The old woman spoke with a look of devoutness upon her face.

"So, can you show us the kind of power these deities possess?" Chen Guan listened for a long ti without hearing any crucial details and decided to ask directly.

He wasn't about to worship sothing he didn't fully understand, even if there were benefits. He needed to know exactly what those benefits were.

Shang Ziyi felt similarly, so he remained silent while Chen Guan spoke.

"Has your generation lost all belief and forgotten the greatness of the gods?" the old woman sighed, shaking her head, "Very well, let

show you the power of the deities."

With that, the old woman bowed to one of the deity tablets and ford various Dharma Seals with her fingers while chanting incantations.

At her advanced age, with her wrinkled skin and sluggish legs,

once she put down her cane, her fingers moved rapidly, forming intricate hand seals with ease, and one of her feet kept stomping on the ground.

To those aware, she was seeking divine assistance; to those unaware, it might appear as though she was possessed or having a seizure.

As Shang Ziyi and Chen Guan watched with suspicion, they suddenly felt a terrifying surge of Primordial Energy flowing toward the old woman, enveloping her entire body, forming a bizarre light and shadow that emitted a frightening aura.

And the old woman's previously hunched body straightened up entirely, shedding her decrepit image. Even the wrinkles began to vanish, leaving her skin supple and elastic, and her white hair turned black.

In an instant, the seemingly decrepit old woman transford into a tall, fierce-looking female warrior, her eyes sharply focused on Chen Guan and Shang Ziyi.
