And so, the journey continued.

One day later...

Louis woke up feeling unsteady. His body hit one of the ship’s walls due to a tremor.

’What’s happening?’ He quickly left the room and ran to the front of the ship.

The winds were blowing wildly, so much so that even with a ship as good as this one, wind was still coming in and ruffling Louis’ hair.

This ship only had four crew mbers. Two were steering it, Jack and Louis.

So when he ca out, the two pilots stopped him. "Look inside. It’s dangerous."

At the front of the ship, Jack stood with a sword in his hand. At the sa ti, a powerful beast was flying towards them, and a great storm was lashing them.

"Is the storm caused by the beast?" Louis asked.

Both nodded.

"It’s a storm beast with dragon blood, possibly controlled by sky pirates. It’s common to encounter them when traveling without identification."

"Is it dangerous?"

"It could kill any one of us."

"Then..." Louis worried about Mr. Jack, but they both smiled calmly.

"He’s Lord Jack. Nothing will happen to him." They were confident.

Soon, the sight before them proved them right.

As the beast drew nearer, Louis could see its colossal size.

It was as big as a tall building on land. Its form was hidden in the gale, but the power it carried made him tremble.

For that reason alone, he was sure he could die just standing there.

But then, Mr. Jack attacked. Two cross-shaped sword strokes were enough to cut it into four pieces.

An instant.

Everything cald down in an instant.

The winds ceased, the ship continued on its course, and the beast fell to the ground.

"..."

He couldn’t find the words to describe it.

The two pilots were already used to this and thought it was normal, so they simply continued with their work.

A few seconds later, Jack returned. When he saw him, he walked over to him.

"Speechless?"

Louis nodded.

"Haha." He patted him on the shoulder. "Tomorrow will be the last day I’ll be with you. Next ti we et, I hope you can do that too."

Louis smiled a little.

"Okay."

With that, the journey resud.

One day later.

A flying ship landed in one of the regions of the Red Sun Empire without alerting anyone.

A single man stepped off the ship before it departed.

Three people greeted him.

One smiled, another waved and noted his arrival in a notebook, and the other simply remained silent.

Despite the greeting, these people were hesitant.

’Sent from the Land of God...’ One of them paid special attention to him. ’Wasn’t he expelled from the family? Why was he sent here?’

’They sent him here to despise us,’ thought another.

They were not happy with what they saw before them, but they were also afraid to speak. After all, he had co from the Land of God.

Louis stared at them one by one. He knew they despised him, and he had no interest in belonging to this family.

If he stayed here, he would be manipulated by those above him, and these guys would also despise him until he proved himself worthy, but he didn’t really want that.

Why waste such precious ti proving himself worthy of this family?

Although his body still harbored many feelings for the family, sohow, they seed to have faded a little in recent days.

His feelings of Earth prevailed, and what he wanted most now was to prove his power and make a na for himself. He didn’t want to prove to this family that he was worthy, because they weren’t deserving.

So, he made a quick decision.

"I have no interest in belonging to your family," he said, before pausing. "You can ignore if you want. Just tell where I can buy a place to live. Other than that, you don’t need to do anything."

The two who had reacted first looked at each other in shock.

’What is this guy saying?’ one of them thought, frowning.

"That could get us in trouble with the Gods. What is your intention?" he asked.

Louis shook his head. "It won’t get you in any trouble. They all voted to expel , so you don’t even need to worry. I don’t want anything to do with the Lockwards from now on, so you don’t need to bother with ."

’He doesn’t seem to be lying,’ thought the person who had asked him earlier.

But the other man acted quickly.

"If that’s the case..." The man in the middle took out so keys and a map and showed them to Louis. "This is a small mansion in the southern part of town. You can have it." He spoke.

Louis simply nodded.

"How much does it cost?"

"Huh?"

"The mansion, how much is it?" he asked again, emphasizing his words.

For a mont, the man was stunned. Wasn’t he giving it to him? Why did he want the price? Was he going to sell it?

Could he have been thrown out onto the street and in ruins? This man couldn’t understand what was happening.

But the other man quickly replied, "It’s 20 million Jens." His quick response stunned even him.

He didn’t know why he had said such a high price. Had he gone crazy?

The man in the middle looked at him.

He imdiately went to correct the price, which was much lower, but...

Louis acted faster. He took out one of the money cards he had purchased from the System.

It contained exactly 20 million. He held it in his fingers and looked at them.

"Give the papers for the mansion and let’s finish the transaction."

He wouldn’t accept sothing for free as a true God of Money.

There’s nothing free in this world. He understood that very well in his previous life, and he wasn’t willing to make the sa mistake here.

But, in the sa way, he wouldn’t buy sothing they only gave him in na.

He wasn’t stupid.

The two n talking to him were stunned by his carefree response and calm yet arrogant attitude.

But the money card in his fingers instinctively drew them in.

One of them frowned. "How can I tell if it’s real?" he asked.

Louis scoffed. "Why would I give sothing fake to people stronger than ? I’m not stupid," replied.

He then nodded. It made sense.

But they still thought there was sothing odd about it.

’Is he an idiot, or just too clever, and there’s sothing we’re not seeing?’

Of course, it wasn’t that he was too clever in this case; he was just trying to get rid of this family.

Despite his doubts, the man in the middle took the papers out of the mansion and handed them over in exchange for the 20 million.

He then checked them and made sure there was 20 million.

Louis looked at his System and bought an extensive set of utilities. It had lots of useful things for everyday life, including sothing to erase old ink.

He used it to erase the previous signature and overwrote it with the signature that would now belong to him.

Then he smiled.

"Good. The transaction is complete. I hope I won’t be bothered."

After that, he left without hesitation.
